NEARLY 100,000

SUNDAY - Helen's parents came for their Sunday dinner we had roast shoulder of pork bought from the local farm shop along with roasted sweet potatoes , Yorkshire puddings , stuffing and roast potatoes was excellent .
After we went to Beaumont Park we took the dogs Helen's parents followed in their car it was our first visit  . One of the house's we  viewed a few weeks ago we  put an offer on  , its rear garden backs directly on to this park  and we thought we would check it out . It is a fine park and we had a nice stroll through some of its grounds we did not have time to check out all the park but we likes what we saw  .

MONDAY - First week working for all of the week , I am still doing 19.00 till 22.00 on my phased return schedule .Which is good but makes for a long day it is nice finishing for ten p.m.

The telecom engineer from BT called our broadband is running slow again he said its due to an extension we have running to the out building  he reset the line and removed the extension when he left our speed was 34 mbps .

My blog is coming up to 100,000  page views not sure why it is way unbelievable as  it is mainly my diary  instead of a pen written one which to be honest I thought it would only be me viewing it ., and it would last a few years tops .
The fact others are interested enough to scan through it  ,  is very moving . Specially as I am the first to admit I don't live a great life I am more than Mr average .  I wish I could do  more travelling  and get to a lot more destinations even if only in the U,K but you never know what is around the corner any way if you are one reading this thank you feel free to make a comment , hopefully a nice one hopefully be Rollin Bye for many more years to come , thank you all.

We bought the Cluedo board game a few weeks ago we played it for the first time the other night Helen won both games I got both my accusations wrong which made her the winner still it was good fun.

TUESDAY - Broadband speed is now 4 mbps not the extension is it then Mr BT engineer .
Helen bought a new silent night double electric blanket it is now fitted ready for winter no doubt it will be working before then .

GRAND OPENING

Been a sunny September day went out to the shops Helen bought laundry items limited edition conditioner , wash powder tabs and a some little smelling fragrant balls you throw in with your clothes before you wash them .Me I bought two boxes of salted caramel magnum's and two packs of oat meal biscuits ideal for dunking.

This coming Saturday is my daughter and her business partner and her  best friend Jade,  Hair Salon open day it is also my ex wife's birthday she died just after Boxing Day on the 27th of December 2018 , and its sad she never got to see this tremendous day of course she would of been overjoyed and proud of her daughters hard work and success , goes without saying I am too she has done loads in the last few weeks to get the salon up and running it is a great achievement .

SATURDAY.
They had some really good food  I specially  liked the chocolate cookies with sea salt on top very nice along with the fruit punch. There was quite a few people there  and it was quite hot and  sunny a perfect day the salon was looking well , all nice ,  all finished freshly painted with new fittings .

The letters J&T that are on the wall was done by Helen with dried flowers and a can of rose gold spray paint .To say the salon a few weeks previous when they bought has now been totally transformed is a credit to their determination and help from friends and family and some of the trade people they know doing extra to help them get up and running on time at little cost .Hopefully onwards and upwards .

THIS TIME LAST YEAR

Looking at cheap drones well drones costing no more than £175 which have half decent fly time and return to home function and follow me function it is amazing how many choices there is .We have a viewing booked some people  on Wednesday evening are coming to have a look at our home with the option of  buying it , if a sensible offer is made than the clock will start ticking , and we will need to find  a property for us to move into we need to organize a mortgage and some how get our stuff moved out and into the new home .

The viewing went perfect they loved it they thought it was amazing they faulted nothing we had spent the last two days tidying up I did at least a dozen blue Ikea bags of garden rubble old plastic plant pots and old plants that where way  past their sell by date . I also cleaned out the out buildings and got them looking better  and less cluttered . We bought some more scented diffusers and some plug in air fresheners we also bought some flowers and fresh fruit .

The couple who viewed it hopefully will put in an offer and hopefully it will be for the full asking price as they have a buyer for their home which was confirmed today and they are down sizing so hopefully won't haggle us over the price as we need every penny for our new home .

My last day on sick is tomorrow I am back at work on Friday the last few months have flown by it is going to be weird going back on the last day of the week for a three hour shift , it seems like I have been off work a lot longer .

This time last year we was in Ibiza wish I was back there total chilling instead it is a great island with great people and culture . Perhaps we can get away with the money w have made if we sell our home.

HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT

Need to go to Ossett village centre Helen needs a new vapour pen or machine the mini Arc she is using is given he nothing put problems she bought a new one a few weeks back and it leaks she gets oil in her mouth and it maybe even be given her mouth ulcers so new machine it is .

SATURDAY - When we went to the vape shop we ended up buying a new tank that fitter her mini arc battery packs for a cost of only  £10 and so far so good  , she also bought two bottles of oil she does prefer the oil she was using so she might end up sticking with the Totally Wicked oil.

Helen is working at half past four tonight doing five readings over in Huddersfield not sure if I will stay or drop her off and then come home and pick her up when she has finished .If I stay I will have my 500 ml bottle of juice I am currently drinking cherries and berries instead of my regular orange and mango life is never boring plus  my phone and iPad  can continue to read "An Unwanted Guest " and maybe even a bar of chocolate or a bag of buttons a fun Saturday night .
I ended up going home it was only 9 miles away it did not make sense to stay she ended up doing six readings so I still had an hours wait .

Bentley my cat was sick it stunk in the sick was a full body of a mouse it was like something out of The Walking Dead was not impressed one bit  ,the joys of owning a cat.

SUNDAY - Went to the White Swan at Fenay Bridge for Sunday dinner we went a few weeks ago the food was excellent once again we had the same as last time mixed meat beef and pork roast pots Yorkshire puddings and swede washed down with a cup of tea for Helen and a cloudy apple cider for me .
Later in the afternoon after we had a drive about the local villages around where we live  we ended up going to the Olive tree at Totties garden centre Scholes for afternoon tea  , we have seen it for years but for some reason never ventured in , the do a full breakfast for £7.99  , we only ordered cake I had triple chocolate cake with pouring cream and  Helen she  had spice ginger cake with ice cream I had mine with a cappuccino and of course a pot of tea for Helen .

CLUES ARE THERE

WEDNESDAY - This time next week will be my last day on sick it as flown by .My hip operation seems to be fine they only issue I have is driving after an hour or so it aches I am not sure if it is the seat or the fact I am using the clutch and brake or all three short journeys not a problem hopefully this will improve over time .

The cottage we put a bid on has had a offer from first time buyers it is obvious they won't wait for us to sell our static home and apparently it is a higher offer than the asking price , Helen was pissed off but I think everything for a reason and we shouldn't be putting offers in for other property until we have had a offer on our own home to me this makes sense Helen disagrees arguing seems to be pointless as she is unrealistic in her thinking .

FRIDAY - Finally fixed the gate we have an extra large gate to our property I rehung it on the opposite post last year and the weight of the gate gradually pulled the post over so we had to lift it to shut it I put a gate wheel on which helped put not fully . So I dug out the soil and broke up the existing concrete dug the hole deep straighten the post braced it so the fetch panel was located correctly and re concreted it back in after digging out more soil so it would hold more concrete using a 1 cement , 2sand  , 4 aggregate mix hopefully once it sets all is good .

Not sure why we went to the local toy shop in the Trinity centre Wakefield and for £16  bought the classic board game Cluedo for those who don't know it is where you find out who is the murderer in what room  it took place and with which murder weapon , which is good because I have just started reading "An Unwanted Guest " by Shari Lapena . The story line is a group of people are stranded in a hotel deep in the country side  they are  snowed in  and a murder occurs by someone staying there .The clues are there just need to find them a bit like life .

I thought I was going back to work next Thursday when in fact it is on the Friday , I phoned up to find out what hours I would be doing on my phased return to work , for the first Friday I am working I will be doing 19.00 - 22.00 three hours which are  also these hours agreed for the following week , week number two it is 18.00 - 22.00 and  the third week 16.00 - 22.00 the forth week to be discussed if I need it or if don't . People slag work off all the time I have been on sick for over three months they make it easy to fit back in without you over doing it can't fault them .

THE SALON

Went to York to Acaster Malbis the traffic was horrendous it took us twice as long to get there and it was hot .

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
Sort of both days mixed into one did nothing Saturday morning went shopping filled the car up with £40 worth of unleaded and it was s till not full even though there was enough left in the tank to do 75 miles , Went to Sainsbury's Asda and the farm shop with the food I bought  we had barbecues on both days with chicken and pork and mixed peppers sweet pots onions and mushrooms with fresh strawberries we invited our neighbours Steve and Paul to eat with us on the Saturday evening .

BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY - I would be in work if I was not on sick the start of the day was hot then it just got hotter . Meet up with my Daughter at Swillington car boot had a cheese burger .
Drove over to her salon the painter had finished , we  put the window displays back up and some heavy duty wooden shelving for products shampoo and towels and the flower wall was hung up behind the reception desk it all looks amazing it is already a great success it will only get better as their reputation grows to say that they have a huge client base already .

TUESDAY - Liked to say I cut the lawn but its just cutting the grass strimmed the edges the vacuumed up the stray cuttings looking better .Cooked a chicken  curry  with onions and peas for tea with basmati rice was ok could have done with more sauce but it was alright .

THE GATE

This morning I  drove us over to Holmfirth to the street where we use to live on , we was visiting our old neighbour Samantha , we usually try and go over ever each year . Her cottage is ideal it is a double sized one compared to the rest on the street plus it is also situated on the on the end . It as gardens to three sides and a gate at the top that leads up to a large pond which is on on another piece of land that belongs to someone else I use to walk round every morning with Pip and George
The cottage  has a large stoned floor kitchen and a large living room with exposed wooden ceiling beams and stone mullion window openings , it is everything you could wish for in a cottage including a black cat ducks and hens , we both love it it is hard not to it is in a great location we would buy it tomorrow if it was for sale and we had the cash .

I love the two photos below taken on my iPhone .

HOLMFIRTH

Bought a new light to go over the bed the one we had operated with a simple on and off  push button ,
Impossible to get so I got a bathroom light with a pull switch , what a nightmare to fit  , wiring up was the easy part getting the face plate to fit over the inner plate and locate two bolts that hold it together was hard  , the bolts where too short the innards of the wiring had to fit back behind the plate and screw the nuts on to hold the the light together , the bolts became loose so you had to unscrew the wall plate to retighten them ,  then the pull switch wouldn't work pulling the cord did not do anything . Then I got it all together and the connector blocks and the earth wiring blocks would line up correctly so the face cover wouldn't sit right  .  I over tighten one of the doom nuts and the bolt knocked the doom of so it looked  like a normal nut , then the  light didn't look level I ended up putting the old fitting back on , fcuk it will take it back and get a refund .

Which is what I did I bought two new glass shades which made the old fitting look better than the original shades .

Also took of the mirrors behind our bed I know they reflect light and make the room look bigger they also looked dated so off they came and I will just paint the wall behind white to match the rest of the bedroom .

Most of the work we wanted to do to try and make it  more attractive to sell is complete obviously the gardening is always work in progress due to  the changing seasons .

We have agreed when we sell this we are going back to Holmfirth we went to view a cottage which would be ideal it is near a shop pub and fish and chip shop plus two garden centres all with in a few minutes walk so fingers crossed we get this sold and we can move on .

I know we have viewed other houses at different locations the trouble is nothing compares to life in Holmfirth unless you have lived there it is hard to understand there is no other place like it .

I'LL BE BACK

I'll be going  back to work very soon it looms on September the 5th which is a Thursday , I will  once again working and I will be  doing my own shift which is starting at 14.00 and finishing at 22.00 .

Will miss the 18, 00 - 02,00 was a great not having to worry over a parking space for my daily commute plus the added bonus of getting my whole shift paid at night rate extra cash always handy  oh well never mind , nothing good last forever at least I am working earning a regular income .

Was thinking about buying a Kreg pocket hole jig and knocking out some cabinets or drawer units it is a very versatile tool used to drill holes on a slant to join timber pieces or  mdf / plywood  panels together using washer head screws .

Cloudy apple cider with ice and salted Carmel ice lollies are two things I am craving at the moment
As well as eating fish and chips in the car with curry sauce and a bread cake bliss .

Finished more or less painting our bedroom all white a bit of touching up to do here and there but its looking very clean and clinical .Specially after cleaning the tops of the wardrobes and built in cupboards which more than likely have not been cleaned since w moved in .

Need black jeans normal denim jeans and new trainers but want all three for less than £100 might have to go to Meadow Hall which will mean Five Guys peanut flavoured milk shake .

VIEWING NO2

MONDAY - Nearly £30 for fish and chips at the Wetherby Whaler we went there for tea  it is getting ridiculous the price of eating out the amount of food you can buy for that amount of money could feed a person for a week .I also went over to a fish supplier and bought two blue Dolphin head Malawi's they are only tiny hope they survive OK .

TUESDAY - Did the ceiling in our bedroom re boarded the area which was damaged when I took a wall out about a year ago  it took me  a few hours I also did some new architrave to make up the width as the new boards where narrower than the are I needed to cover it also it help support the boards whilst the liquid nails I used dries I propped it of the wardrobe top ,  hopeful it will stay stuck when I take out the props .

WEDNESDAY  - Went to view another property on Meltham Road it is also an end terraced and is built form stone I liked it better than the previous house we went to see ,also at £120 k through the back garden you can get in to Beaumont Park which is ideal for walking the dogs and for the cats .

THURSDAY - Started painting the bedroom brilliant white using Leyland paint £10 for ten litres first time I have used the brand usually use Dulux , covers OK so it was a good buy .

SCREWED

Bought a small white pedal bin for the bathroom we also bought a toilet roll holder and a towel ring we also bought a free standing unit but it is wrong for our bathroom so it is going back tomorrow .

Bought some Malawi's for our fish tank we have lost a few over the last six months we ended up buying eleven new fish we also bought another two plecos a Golden Nugget and a Candy Stripe all are doing well , we cleaned the tank out and added two water polishes to keep it looking crystal clear.

Bought some braising steak going to slow cook it for dinner tomorrow also bought some spicy chicken pizzas and meat stuff for breakfast .Tonight I am cooking steak and stuffed mushroom with onions and new potatoes .

SATURDAY - After cooking breakfast with spam and duck eggs and all the trimmings we went over to Rotherham we was buying a small pine shelving unit for only ten pounds , then we went over to Leeds to buy a bathroom wall unit with two mirrored doors off a lady for twenty pounds it makes our bathroom  a lot more interesting .

Accidentally screwed through a wire in the stud wall if I had fixed the unit 5mm to the right  would have missed it completely of course it  totally tripped the fuse box and it was late in the afternoon to get a emergency electrician and was going to cost £165 for each hour I did it myself  , we have a fish tank and a chest freezer plus American fridge freezer that need electric also the Internet and phone charger can not live without power for too long any way I got the power  reconnected was a big relief going to buy a stud wire/pipe  finder .

SUNDAY - Went to see and view  a two bedroom stone cottage with black wooden beams and stone mullion windows it has a decent size  kitchen and an extremely large  bathroom it is located at Fenay Bridge ,  it also has a vaulted cellar and the two bedrooms has a stud wall partition originally was one room  I would convert it back into one bedroom again .
Of course the stumbling block is we need a buyer for our dwelling before we can move forward but if we get a buyer we would consider putting a offer in for the full asking price .We called in to the local pub The White Swan for a Sunday roast lunch was very good had two meat roast and drinks £22. .

TIRING TILING

The static home we are living in atm is on the market for £100.000k not sure when we will get our first person round for a viewing might be in the next few days might take longer who knows .

We are looking at buying a small two bed cottage or hose for around £120k or less to live in a proper house with stairs and upper floors will take some getting used to and  looking out of upstairs windows will be slightly weird hopefully a sky light in the roof would be even better and a cellar below really cool be great for workshop .

Did some tiling in the kitchen we are going to have to get the photos for the selling brochure re done there as been too many changes the kitchen looks toothy different to how it was photographed a couple of weeks ago .

The other side of the sink is also tiled three packet of tile £9.60 a pack tile adhesive £10 for a large tub , tile saw from Tool Station £38 that's the third tile saw I have bought use them then usually because I don't do any tiling they get thrown out .I also bought a tub of black grout which I will do later .

Also did some tiling in the w.c and the bath room not as much involved and a lot fewer cuts as you can see plus bigger tiles all helps reduce time , but looks a lot better than the plastic tiles that was on previously , Also used white grout instead of the black should have used cream and black tiles but never mind at the end of the day it is to make it better to sell ,

VENTED

SATURDAY - Went to visit my chiropodist as have not been for nearly three months it was money well spent as I always feel the benefits after a visit like walking on air ,

loose track of days each day merges with the next Mondays for now is just another day the hold no other significance which is good because it usually the start of the working week well not for a few weeks more .

I feel like a mid week visit to Toby Carvery is imminent a pig out is needed a plate full of mash a, roast potatoes , meat and Yorkshire puddings with gravy and horseradish sauce can taste it has I write this .

Helen painted the small toilet just done it all white looks clean and fresh makes a big difference .

Need to go food shopping need some mango and orange juice need some salted caramel Magnum lollies and some type of side be it pear or cloudy apple also need a large jar of coffee all the essentials.

THURSDAY  - Cant believe how quick the week has gone I Managed to do the two down pipes from the guttering each end of the static once the hoppers was on the down pipes where easy enough just three pipe clips .I also manage to put on the fake ceiling joists and fill in the old spot light holes and also do the vents I also put architrave under the ceiling line and painter it all white its looking a lot better fresh and cleaner , it was hard on my hip but I can always rest in between jobs or finish and lie down .Which I usually do mid afternoon for a hours siesta

ANOTHER SIGN

THURSDAY - Helen retook all the photos for the selling  of our home hopefully to go into the new brochure . We transferred  them all on to a usb thumb drive , when we took it to the estate agents they wouldn't let us connect it to their pc's  in case of a virus or bugs . A wasted journey we had to go home and email them doing three photos at a time .

Think it was by far the hottest day of the year so far , I had a sickness meeting at work in Leeds I parked up was gone just over an hour and half getting back to the car it was like climbing in to an oven so warm thank good for iced drinks and air con . I officially go back to work on the 5th of September should be a lot cooler by then .

My daughter and her friends hair salon is coming on great they are getting the builders in during the next few weeks ,  the sign is up outside and things are progressing nicely .

FRIDAY - Less hot it is a lot cooler the sky more grey I think we are going to be having more thunder storms they was threatened for during the night but never happened .

We are selling the static home one of the things that has bugged me since we first moved in is the down pipes for the guttering totally inadequate and not fit for purpose .I went to Tool station bought a  gutter hopper , downpipes , three brackets and a outlet shoe for the bottom for a cost of £18 .
I had to cut the hopper to fit it to the existing guttering using my Dremel and a disc cutter . I got it fit after a few mods so the drop worked out in line with the corner of the static took about an hour , working off ladders after hip operation six weeks ago I took longer than what it should have but got there in the end .

A SIGN

SUNDAY - Did nothing much had a chill out day .

TUESDAY - Went to see my surgeon everything is fine I have no issues he will see me in a years time , saw my physiotherapist he is happy with my progress will see me in six weeks if I feel the need to see him it is entirely up to me if I need to I just phone up for an appointment .
Bought a 16" fan on a stand for only £14.99 it as three speeds and seems pretty good value , we now have a fan in every room could do with a mobile air con unit it's been the hottest day so far its been in the early 30's .

Bought some food for a barbecue kebabs , chilli and lime belly pork , burgers and sausages we have to bags of charcoal left over from a previous life must be at least four years old anyway it lighted fine and the food got cooked by yours truly .

WEDNESDAY - Woke up to thunderstorms and lighting flashes we lost power for a spilt second the rain came down it was s till warm .
An African called to put up the for sale sign on our property he was also enjoying the early morning thunderstorms .
signed the paperwork for the estate agents also saw the photos that Joesph had taken the previous week they looked really good .

went over to a warehouse called Country Baskets they sell loads of home ornaments and dried flowers artificial flowers etc etc bought a J and a T oasis green foam lettering Helen is going to stick flowers in to  them to make a floral display for my daughters hair salon it will be their initials for a wall in the salon .

Had another barbecue ran out of fire lighters manager to get the barbecue going with the help from  a can of WD40 not recommended could have easily ended up me being barbecued luckily I got away with it .

SUMMER LOVE

Went to Trinity at Wakefield Helen bought a new mini Arc e-cig from the E.Wicked shop Summer Love  £34.99 she got a free tank upgrade its a slider top feed tank she also had enough stamps to get three free bottles of e- liquid .

cooked fish bits and hips for tea did a curry sauce using Mayflower bought from B&M for 99p its a powder mix with water and microwave comes out really good just like from your local fish shop .

SATURDAY - Got up early couldn't sleep had a shower stepping over the bath is easier now it has not been six weeks next Wednesday I go to see my surgeon to get signed off , and to see the physiotherapist  for hopefully the last time .
We have to go over to Bingley tonight Helen has a party to do I don't think I can sit it out in the car until she finishes which is what I normally do .Sitting in the car for anything longer than and hour is uncomfortable also it is around a hours drive so by the time we get there I will be wanting to do something to stretch my legs I might find the nearest Asda and have a stroll round ,

Staying in the car whilst Helen did her readings was not that  bad it is easier than driving she was three hours before we was on our way home I watched the film Crank starting Jason Statham  , about the third time I have seen it but not for a few years.

PHOTO SHOOT

WEDNESDAY - Taking Bailey to the dog grooming parlour he is WELL over due a shampoo and cut , and as  the weather is getting warmer he will feel a lot more cool .The shampoo cut and pamper took over one and a half hours he looked a different dog to when he went in  at a cost of £37 , I also bought him a Harris tweed looking harness for £14.99  as he looked a right mess in his old harness which to be honest is a mess but  not that old .

THURSDAY - Joesph from the estate agent came to take the photos for there listing we spent all morning de cluttering and cleaning we bought flowers and fresh fruit totally cleaned the bathroom , toilet , cooker changed the bedding , washed the windows . and in all rooms we swept vacuumed and wiped .
As he was taking photos we moved items out of shot such has the dog cage and dog beds  , the cats and dogs feeding bowls . I even moved my car so he could get better shoots of the outside all to try and make an ideal brochure that will be online for people to look at and  go through  and hopefully to get people round for viewings with the option of them then wanting to buy it , I will link the web address when it is online .

NEW LOCATION

MONDAY - My son has a job he started today hopefully all went well and he likes it and it turns out in to  long term employment fingers crossed for him.

Had to buy a new garden hose the fabric anti crinkle stretchy hose burst once the fabric goes or wears through it is only a mater of time before it bursts , we can't do without a hose its essential for the garden we have that we can easily water it . The new hose is a Hozelock 25m on a reel casting £39.99 had a free watering gun attachment that retails for £12.99 thrown in had to assembly it came in bits it was not that bad  when I connected it and run water through it  no leaks which is what  hoped for .

Also early this evening had a call from my daughter she is legally the part owner and running her hair dressing business  it has all gone through today and she is now legally trading well she has been working and trading there for the last few weeks but now it is legit she is with one of her best friends Jade together they are now business owners and partners good luck although I am pretty sure they already have it sorted .

TUESDAY - Drove over to Helen's parents at Acaster Malbis looked at a couple of homes the first one was excellent whether we get it is another question we can only try there is way too many if's , but all we can do is give it our best shot .The new home is ultra clean and modern with all the kitchen appliances you need built in including dishwasher .it is way bigger than our home and is more like a bungalow than where we live now it is also nearer the coast nearer to York and not too far for work .
The photos below are taken off my laptop screen using my iPhone camera  .

ALFRESCO WEEKEND .

Went into the centre of Wakefield Helen had to get her nails re-done which usually takes a good hour.
I went to the e-cig shop and bought her a top filling tank for her e-cig it makes life a lot easier as you don't have to unscrew it from the tank to refill it .
Also filled the car up it has been a while since I have had to put petrol in I even think the price has dropped at the pump but if if it has  not by much.

Catching up o n season two of Stranger Things Helen has already watched it but now season three is out I need to get up to speed. so we can watch it together .

My son is in dire straights he lost his job mainly because  his workmate quit as they are a two man team he got laid off which seems unfair but that is what he is telling me .
The cottage he lives in  is rented he lives there with his step dad  and is not affordable if he does not pay his way , which means if he has no income their tenancy on the cottage will have to go which if it does it will make him homeless.
Not only that he in his stupidity not sure why he decided to take a log book loan out on his car if he does not make the payments which of course he cant he will probably loose it for a third of its value , so no job , and no home and looking like no car  , also because he has not paid his mobile phone contract I can't even speak to him , it is not looking good for him .No doubt when he needs to speak to me he will get the use of a phone .

WEEKEND - Had two barbecues each afternoon bought a pack of meat had sausages , burgers , chicken breast , and pork did some chicken kebabs with peppers and onion  we cooked it on throw away grills had salt and pepper bread and cheese baps and of course pear cider excellent food at its tastiest . The photo shows the food cooking as the chicken is still raw in parts it took longer than the rest of the food which we ate whilst the kebabs finished cooking , when it was fully cooked they was delicious , next time will Brush on some chill oil .

ON THE RACK

Woke up at 04.00 am getting less sleep . Lying on my back is ok until I wake up for whatever reason usually its either three reasons the cats waiting to go out come in , to use the toilet or Helen either talking in her sleep or snoring ,Either way once I am awake that is it this morning I nearly turned on to my side which is a big no no .Another thing I got wrong is I though I was on week five of recovery and in fact I am on only week four which means I  need to be more careful I am doing more than what I did when I had left hip number one done , there is still a good chance of me popping it if i am not careful.

TUESDAY - Woke up at six got up at seven going to be a long day its dull and lightly raining doubt we are going to get much sun .
We are getting an estate agent to value our van just to see what the current market value is last time we had it valued was before we had done the alterations from a two bedroom to only one bedroom , it is not for a family anyway its a couples van only but we will see .
A very nice man came out he reckons to ask in the region of 100k or 95k for our current home I doubt this is realistic he seems to think it is who am I to argue will believe it when we get that sort of cash if we do we will hopefully buy a brick or stone built property in or near Holmfirth .

WEDNESDAY - Was out driving this time we went to Halfords was only a twenty minute drive away Helen wanted a new bell, a seat cover if she is our when it rains it will protect the leather seat ,  basket lining that also doubles as a shopping bag and pannier  bag that clips on and doubles as a messenger bag . She also bought a puncture kit and a small tyre pump , I also manage to get a bolt for the rear luggage rack one was missing .Because it is a ladies step through bike we need to buy a false cross bar so we can mount it on a car bicycle boot rack they cost about twenty pounds without it the frame won't fit the carrying rack .It is a possibility the bike I buy my also need one of these adapters.

ON YA BIKE

My twin sister got a speeding ticket for driving  forty eight  miles an hour in a forty zone checking online she should receive three  points and a fine guessing it be around £120  , She has at the moment zero points on he license once you hit twelve in a three year period its a ban ,  the points will stay on for three years then they are removed .
I know been there three times myself  , never mind where all going to get three points one day everyone I know at sometime has been flashed by a speeding camera sometimes you are lucky and don't get a N.I.P letter from the police (notice of intended prosecution ) not proud but been there three times usually when the speed changes down  from forty  to a thirty usually on a downward hill where you tend to pick up speed some cameras are situated on bends or  on traffic lights its just the way it is . Good revenue for the police , money  which hopefully funds them fighting  crime no good bitching .

Drove over to Ilkley just over a two hour round trip we went to buy a Helen a ladies Pendelton Ashwell bike in black with a wicker basket mounted on the handle bars we just manage to get it in the car  and close the boot , it wasn't easy and part of the handle bar stuck through the window but it wasn't  dangerous we got it home without incident  .

When home I adjusted the seat height making it lower to do so I  had to take off the rear carry rack to lower the seat the seat springs which was preventing it from going lower , then I was able to but the rack back on , I also dropped the handle bars and straightened the basket although it is over two years old it is in mint condition .

Need to get a bike rack for the rear of the car I also need to get a bike once my hip is fully recovered from surgery there is no reason I can't pedal a bike , we are going to ride on canals which are usually pretty flat the odd lock in places causing small hills but nothing too strenuous

PERFECT GIFT

I managed to wash the car today I did not wax it but got all the grime and dust of it it was amazing how many spiders webs there was scattered around the exterior of the car I did not rush I was carefull not trip over the hose or to bend .

I had to phone work and speak to my line manager I have a sickness meeting booked for the 17th of July at midday as I a have been of over four weeks I am classed as long term sick even though they have my sick note stating why I an unfit for work .

The  neighbour to my left side Steve told Helen to ask me to go round to see him I went round and  to my total surprise he gave me a Bonsai tree that he had in his garden that he had grown .He has quite a few trees growing in his garden and he even has a oak tree that he had grown from a conker which is over 35 years old he also as a Acer tree  . Most species of trees can be used they are kept small by keeping them in small pots trimming the roots they can be shaped using copper wires and branch benders of clamps .

I have also liked and been fascinated by this type of tree or plant and it is an art form you can even grown them directly on to a rock the techniques are endless there is a learning and teaching class near to where I live at a special garden centre that specializes in this type of gardening , will have to have visit and see what they are offering ..
I have to admit I was deeply touched by this generous gift the fact he has had it so long spent years looking after it and entrusting its future survival  to me is a great honour I could not thank him enough .

For tea we had Scottish smoked haddock new potatoes sweet corn and granary bread I also had hollandaise sauce , manage to leave some for the cats.

MR ANGRY

My feet need washing the rest of me is ok overall  washing is fine but my feet need re freshing but getting these pesky support socks on and off  is a bloody nightmare bending down is not a option and they are they are super tight ,
I am no longer taking any pain killers just the blood thinning tablets  , three weeks tomorrow I can sleep my side walking up sleeping on your back is fine until you wake up if I could turn on my side I would go back to sleep .But I can't so I watch You Tube Netflix or play solitaire the I am wide awake its pointless staying in bed .

I bought some pencils pencil sharpener , erasers  , and various sized nibs black ink drawing pens , I am downloading images of Pinterest then trying to draw them myself I am very medico at best need to practice , I am using a old book once I have mastered an image will re- do it in a new journal so it will only have decent drawings in hopefully .

The parking war is still ongoing with my grumpy neighbour he told me if I park on my drive he will block me in so I can't leave he says never park there again or else , I really doubt it I will reverse in to the side of you , or I will open my double gates and slam the gates into your car  , so please yourself either way you will loose stop me exiting or leaving my property then the consequences for being a fulled paid up cunt is head .

Just because my daughter parked behind me he kicked off saying we was blocking him from leaving bullshit loads of room , if he came to my door and asked like any normal person we would have moved the car but not when he is constantly ob his horn shouting and cursing trying to intimidate us then no fucking way the car stayed put  , after his rant and near heart attack he got his motor out being a twat does not work .

I had to drive the car I had little choice a skip wagon came to drop off a skip and there was no way it was going to get past so I got the key to my car , it has been parked up since my operation I toolkit round the block waited until the skip wagon had gone and parked it back where it was .

Helen is painting the metal patio table and chairs Hammerite pure white she had previously painted them purple .Also used the new lawn mower to cut the grass I did so much did most of the edges with the strimmer . My hip is fine it is no way 100% Helen mentioned when I was walking with a limp without and sticks it is not three weeks yet I am under no illusions I need more time I can walk without any sticks .

SATURDAY/SUNDAY - Watching Glastonbury nothing else to do least the sun is out the ceiling van is on and it is cool. The Killers Nailed it along with The Cure.

TUFF BITCH

Made physio don't have to go for another four weeks it went ok all was good  was given a few different exercises he checked out my basic movement and was happy with my progression two weeks earlier I was under the knife , I also feel more confident in my ability my overall movement is getting better with each passing day .My trip to see the physio was also my first venture out and about since leaving hospital in two weeks was nice getting out of the house even if it was raining cloudy and dull  .

I am taking less painkillers to be honest I doubt I need any some days and have skipped certain times of the day I am taking around a third of wheat I should be if I need them if the pain gets worse I will up them accordingly .

Started watching Hannibal and the Punisher series that are ob Netflix as well as plenty of new You Tube channels videos specially those living in vans that are constantly travelling across Europe , Mexico and the States .

We are doing well with our food we still have plenty of food and other essential items plenty of brown sugar and coffee still loads of white sugar and t-bags loads of tinned tuna and Pek  , and all the ingredients for a full English breakfast if you have these you will never be that hungry .  The main thing is when you fancy something on impulse like strawberries or apple pie or chocolate at the moment I fancy steak and stuffed mushroom onion and three cheese spread rich chocolate fudge cake and ice cream .

THURSDAY - Helen parents called over we went to B&M , The Range had fish and chips at Sainsbury's I walked quite a bit pushing the trolley  m Later went with my sister to B&Q picked up a new Bosch lawnmower only £76 , then went on to Asda for some milk and other bits like curry and salted caramel ice cream lollies. The neighbours over the road are acting like proper cunts they don't like the fact that my  car is parked out on the road instead of inside on my drive it makes life difficult for anyone visiting them they can't park opposite as no vehicle coming any way  can get pass , it is tough  its just the way it is so get used to it I just might leave it parked there always just to piss you off if you don't stop your bitching..

A TIBETAN RING

Helen bought some white Hammerite paint and some Tibetan Buddhist hand  bells , of Amazon using my Amazon Prime account we placed the order late Saturday night both items arrived by midday Sunday .

Going for physio tomorrow for the first session  I will have to get a Cab its not too costly it will be working out at roughly £11 each way which is ok it is not the end o the world . My operated leg is still swollen compared to the right , its weird what was my bad leg is now my good leg and what was my good leg now my bad leg that's life I guess.
The wound looks fine its neat circular cut on the top of my thigh it is around twelve inches long it is not red to in flamed I can wash it and towel pat it dry. The stern strips are drying out and catch on my clothes they need to disappear asp .
Need to go to the supermarket might go tomorrow there is an Asda at Dewsbury which is on the way home we need dog and cat food as always and 3x 2ltr cartoons of B.O.B milk ,need chicken breast jalapeno's onion mushroom and chicken tikka masala curry, nan breads and quarter pound beef burgers and some decent size bread cakes .

TEN THINGS .

Being under house arrest is not much fun I miss out on ever day things simple things that we do and take for granted each day.

1.Showering I could if our shower was not over the bath have one my wound dressing I took it completely off last night so easy did not stick or hurt one bit  , I could now  have a shower  but I can't step over our bath to get one.

2. Shopping going to the shops picking my own food and  buying my own food  also seeing what's on offer or impulse buying you don't always think about something until you see it .

3. Using the garden sun loungers I would never get out of it if I manage to lie down in one .

4.Walking my dog I do miss my morning walk with Bailey as  cant bend down to pick his poo up .

5.Sleeping on my back  really difficult like being in a coffin also I have nearly caught Helen with my elbow a few times .

6.Bare feet have going to bed with socks on is a pain having  to wear pressure socks  24/7 for six weeks .

7.Walking unaided need my sticks which of course once you rest them against something the slide to the floor .

8 . picking up dropped items I am using my grabber to pick up items the  worse thing is  its never to hand when I need it the most .

9.Cant wear shorts well I can just look totally stupid with the knee length socks a bit like wearing socks with sandals its a no Dad.

10 . Driving a big issue no going to the fish shop , or take away or farm shop no going visiting people and not getting out and about .Which is hard because in my head I think that driving for me now would not be an major issue .

WORMS AND FLEAS

My days and nights are at the moment mostly spent online either laptop or my IPhone there is little I can do , I vacuumed the static and can make coffee and I can go out for short walks got to make sure I don't walk too far SO  its not a struggle to get back .
Printed some photos to go in to the frames that we bough a few weeks ago .
Missing being able to drive the car is on the road in front of my gates , that's so Helen can hang out the washing when needed as I can't currently move the car off the drive it is less hassle to have it parked on the road outside.

THURSDAY - Helen went to another supermarket they was also selling salted caramel Magum's on offer so she bought another two boxes that's a grand total of sixteen in total the freezer it is full .
Got the slow cooker out and dusted off we are doing some braising steak and root veg for tonight's tea  we will have it with mash pots pancakes was mentioned but never happened
Received  the cat worming tablets they was delivered on time as along with  the flea treatment that I only had ordered online Tuesday at a cost of £36 four worming tablets and six flea treatment  I even had to register and upload photographs of my cats on to the online  pet pharmacy  website .

My first physiotherapist appointment is on the 26th of June not sure how I will get there but I cant really miss it .

FRIDAY - Morning I was out in the garden taking photos of Bentley and George they was messing around in the sun Bentley the cat likes hiding in the plants and bushes Bailey just wants to mess with him .

SALTED

SATURDAY - Waking up from the first night sleeping in own bed had to sleep on Helen's side so I get in with my good leg first , what was my bad leg is now my good leg . I Slept better than being in the hospital although their beds with the electronic sections that adjust tilt rise and fall are better than the bed we have I got more sleep .

My Daughter called round tea time she took Helen to the Asda she needed ink for the printer on the way back they went to pick up some food from The Happy Valley Chinese duck curry noodles fries eating to get bette his my excuse .

MONDAY - Start off week number two if I could drive being off would be a great deal different .
only good thing is I am hardly spending any cash being house bound as its bonuses .
The weather being totally crap as helped me not bothering about being outside ,

I half cooked breakfast there is things I must not do bending forward is the main one but standing unaided I am ok , watching sausages go brown in the pan takes little effort .

Helen has also had readings and teachings to do which makes me confined to the bedroom , lying down is becoming my favourite pastime .
Thank God for the Internet Face book and all the rest be lost without it .

TUESDAY - Helen got a lift to Asda need fresh curry and jacket potatoes and ice cream can't the eat chocolate fudge cake my daughter bought me without it , its not how I was brought up .
Helen went shopping her friend Jackie took her she came back with two boxes of salted caramel Magnums highlight of my day .
Had a chicken tikka masala for evening meal done in the oven with chapatis and poppadoms yogurt and mint sauce .

HOME AGAIN

THURSDAY - Woke up after about two hours sleep it was just after 04.00 am I could hear the birds singing the morning chorus was peaceful , went to the toilet still only passing water codeine bungs you up anyway two days is nothing to worry about I kept getting asked by the nurses keep telling them no .Had three slices of toasted brown bread and two fried eggs for breakfast glass of orange and a pot of coffee this is a great hospital with great medical staff I am not moaning the food is great the staff brilliant the care super the coffee needs sorting its bad odd time its ok most of the time nah.
For someone in hospital all you have to look forward to is visitors and meal service there is not much else and of course being pain free .

I did the long corridor with my sticks it was like the green mile by the time I had turned round and got back to my room I felt I had done a marathon I am supposed to be doing the stairs this afternoon they have now put it off until tomorrow which means a third night in hospital .

No one was expecting me to be away for three nights I rang Helen told her the bad news she was ok if it was to benefit my recovery we couldn't really argue .

Late early evening to my surprise Helen and my sister came to visit me it was totally out of the blue I was to expecting it was a great surprise they also bought me a decent coffee .

FRIDAY - Woke up wanting the toilet in the next two hours I would go to the toilet the codeine had lost its fight which is what I wanted to get back to normal of course I told the nursing staff.
I had ordered fish and chips for my dinner be in the afternoon before I would be going home .

I did the stairs fine going down to Hell is meaning bad leg first , going up to Heaven meaning good leg first .

My next door neighbours came with Helen to collect me in their Chevrolet was just after two in the afternoon and after the fish and chips that were excellent I walked down to the car getting in was my worse fear did it relatively easier enough the 30 minute drive to home was fine , getting home was better .
First decent coffee in awhile and first decent nights sleep

DOUBLE BIONIC

TUESDAY  -Drove myself to the Spires Hospital got parked up was dead n time 12.20 .
we got shown unto my room it was similar to before  standard electronic bed with all the usually adjustments another tick it had a window and white bedroom furniture .It also had a en suite shower toilet and hand wash basin . My consultant and surgeon came to see me I signed the necessary forms for consent permission etc next of kin details and he ran through the rest of the day.

Then the anesthetist came round to see me and explain his role and procedure , I was given a gown to put on tied at the side It was way after six at night when I walked down to the operating suite I was ok what was going to be was going to be no point in not accepting whatever lay ahead can say I said a pray and had my fingers crossed .I had a i intervenes line put into the back of my hand for sedation .

I sat on the edge of said operating table they raised it up to  the max then I was given a stool  to  put my feet on a and a pillow to hug they sprayed my back it went ice cold they  stuck some sort of sticky sheet to my back not sure why then I arched forward hugging the pillow and the needle after he  had kneaded  my back checking the alignment of my spine my bone he hit the spot and the drugs did their magic .
I woke up up in recovery the sedation must have done its job I remembered nothing of the operation last time I was listening to albums on my iPod ,just over two and a half hours I was back in my room my sisters were there , as  Anne was driving both my car and Helen back home .

The first night I managed some sleep not a lot I think I watched some You Tube videos and listened to some tracks on Spotify .

WEDNESDAY - Got out of bed sat in a chair felt just like before hard work to move had some lunch Mushroom soup and a lamb and mint burger with fries .I managed to pass urine and managed to walk using a Zimmer frame I had .Jacket potatoes cheese and baked beans for tea .The pain is manageable it feels different from last time I seem less good mobility wise  time round I am more unsure about walking balance and pain and getting in and out of bed for some reason it seems a lot harder  now I have two artificial replacement hips .

ANOTHER 48 HOURS .

I want to buy some Stadler black drawing pens and start to sketch in journals I have been inspired by watching "Wild We Roam " on You Tube and Dana's Inktober book she was making which was basically a hand drawn drawing she did in her sketch book journal relating to where she was and what location she was visiting on that day .
Also makes you want to buy a camper van and fcuk off and visit Europe chase the sun end up in Greece Isles or Turkey  .

my Instagram account is here it as not been going as long as the blog

https://www.instagram.com/bobyea16/

Opened my savings tin/ can  it was sealed both ends the only way to get in is with a can opener once its opened its no longer any use . There was over £200 and I wasn't even trying I took half the money went out bought another tin and put the other hundred pounds in to start me off once more .

SUNDAY - Went over to visit Helen's parents over at York had dinner with them on the way home I stopped in at my daughters house for a coffee won't see her again until after my operation another 48 hours will be done and dusted hopefully feeling good and pain free like last time

MONDAY - Had another shower using the anti bacterial shower gel I will get a few extra couple of showers as there is more than enough left .
Cleaned out the fish tank it has been a while to be honest it was ok have seen it a lot worse in a shorted period of time . When I can drive will buy new purchase new filter pads it Took me a good three hours to empty at the water and clean the filter and light and  clean all the rocks and gravel I took all the fish out and put them in to a clean builders bucket in 24 hours the water will be crystal which is always nice .

Last night at home tomorrow night I will be in my private hospital on suite although I can't use the shower as under no circumstances can I get my wound dressing wet .

BEST OF BOTH

Made a booster for my chair , as my knees have to be lower than my hips one way of achieving this is to heighten the chair so I sit taller . Basically it is a three inch frame the size of the wing back chair the cushion is used as a template .  it is then boarded both sides and the cushion from the chair is taken out and the new boarded frame is  then located and the cushion placed back on top,  resulting in  my knees being a lot lower than my hips sorted .

Cleaned some of the garden debris up old leaves weeds etc and bagged  it up all ready to go to the local tip tomorrow .

FRIDAY

Picked a sick note up from the doctors it runs out on the 5th of  September as I was promised which I am happy bout saves a lot of messing around , need to drop it in the post to my line manager although is full aware of my condition and time needed away from work , I get full pay for six months .

Went back to the Spires hospital at Elland  for a second lot of blood tests was told the first ones were ok  , also started using as instructed  the anti bacterial nose cream and the body wash which I have to use over the next five days .

We need to clean the fish tank out that we are doing first job Saturday morning it takes a good hour and half to empty clean the filter clean the rocks and glass and re-fill the tank back up once it is done its good for a few months now we have fewer fish it will stay cleaner for longer .

We have decided that I will drive to the hospital Tuesday in my car and my sister will visit me the night of my op and take my car and Helen home otherwise it would be a taxi and Helen would not be able to be with me until later in the evening when she can get a lift everyone is at work .

SATURDAY  - Did some shopping bought a load of cat food and cat biscuits  and dog food .
bought more coffee and brown sugar well stocked up as well as 3 x 2litre bottles of B.0.B milk which stands for best of both a tasty as semi skimmed but as good as low fat milk another advantage it will last in the fridge a good twenty to twenty five days , ideal if you can't get to the shops for awhile .

Also finally bought some blue suede slippers Elvis would be proud and some grey shorts for my two night stay in hospital .
Second day of using the anti bacterial nose cream and shower gel to kill MRSA if there is any lurking last time I was clear so hopefully it is the same this time round .

EATING - Jacket spud three cheese spread fried onions and mushrooms and a nice piece of steak .

LISTENING TO  - David Grey and Lewis Capaldi's new album Divinely Inspired To A Hellish Content thanks Spotify , plus Bill Nelson lead singer from Be Bop Deluxe Noisy Candy .

DULY NOTED

Need a sick note I rang the surgery  this morning and  I was put on a call back , they never rang me I rang them  back late in the  afternoon a sick note had been left for me for one whole week what a joke someone having a giraffe a week was no good I told the receptionist  .  I got to speak with a doctor told him my recovery was a minimum of twelve weeks and he agreed  he said that he would rewrite another sick note that  I will pick it up tomorrow and  it is now for twelve weeks so  that's me sorted for the next three months .

Having surgery makes you re-think life guess its like a near death experience all invasive surgery carries a risk and the after results are not guaranteed hopefully you are better than before you went under the knife but until you are fully recovered you can only surmise that it was the best thing for you to do.

I Am suffering but was going to put it off I though I would improve once the warmer weather arrived I was wrong I don't know what I would have done if I had not gone to see the consultant when I did I would have had to have had more time off work and I would have been in greater  pain for that much longer , I called it right .

I have made a list of all the things I want to take I am only in for two nights but that will be 48 hours I might as well have everything I need from the word go .

Essentials for me is a tablet and my iPhone goes without saying I have books , films and music more than enough for 48 hours I have program's downloaded from the BBC , ITV as well as Prime and Netflix .
I need a couple of pens which I have and a new writing book / journal type note book which I will buy locally .

ALL WHITE

Cant believe how much pain I get when my leg gives it seems to be getting worse it was never this bad before I was waiting surgery for my first hip replacement   . Even when I am laid down in bed it hurts and causes a terrible shooting pain it is  like a red hot needle piercing my hip the best thing is it does not last , when I move or try to get out of bed  too quickly  can trigger this pain .it leaves a dull ache behind ---I AM NOW ACTUALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SURGERY.

I have actually have been taking Ibuprofen tablets to dull the ache which is something I have never really had to do before ,

I need to get some proper slippers as I am not allowed to wear my sliders in the hospital , which is my usual attire I also need to get some shorts the ones that are made out of sweat pant material .

I would like to get a new toilet bag and overnight case but I will manage with what I have if I remember last time I was in I could have done with a power brick to charge my phone this time  I will take one with me .I would also like 2 x 1 litre metal water bottles , drinking water always gets warm in hospitals .orange and mango dilute with ice is what I have been taking to work with me .

Need to save my mobile data  on my iPhone  whilst at home make sure I am on our wi-fi  as  I am up to 80% of my 15gb monthly allowance , the hospital wi-fi was not good can't see this having got any better and my new allowance  allocation will start on the 13th by then I should be back at home.

I have three jars of my favourite coffee and three large bags of brown sugar and a jar of coffee mate
Helen as well over 65 tea bags and three bags of white sugar we should be ok need to get some long life milk just in case .

Took our dogs Pip and Bailey to the vets for de -worming , fleeing and their nails cutting they also got tablets for the next three months .they also both had a shower bath Bailey is nearly all white again .

ONE WEEK TODAY

SUNDAY - Went over to Helen's parents static home at Acaster Malbis , as once I have had  my operation which is only  a week this coming Tuesday I can not drive my car for at least six weeks , even if I feel able technical I am nit insured .

Went to the Ship Inn for lunch time  drinks her parents go to Wales tomorrow for a five day break.

MONDAY - My hip seems to be getting worse I don't remember suffering as bad as I am now it is hard getting dressed and my leg just gives way and more or less involuntary collapses weird I have little control of when this happens .

I will get a sick note this week to send into work I am hoping I will get one for around twelve weeks .
My hip joint hurts even when I am sat down , soon I will have to sleep on my back with surgical support socks for a total of six weeks this was hard last time round it seems forever and it gets harder as time goes by.I feel my nervous this time round then I did the last time you get to the stage you just want it done and dusted and get on the road to recovery .

Went over to Uppermill mainly because it was sunny and I needed to get out I am ok driving getting out after I have got there is not without pain . Bought a curry for tea and two punnets of fresh strawberries  , Helen had a reading at six  ,I took myself off to bed with a large coffee whilst watching You Tube videos .

One more week and I will be at my hospital hopefully under going surgery this week will fly by .

TOTALLY TROPICAL

SATURDAY - Did not sleep well last night my  back was aching and my  hip joint was also causing me some pain , No matter how hard I tried I just could not get comfy , I was awake every couple of hours I was listening to tunes on Spotify even this was not making me nod off .

After taking my dog Bailey out for his morning stroll I did a oven cooked breakfast a full English well minus the mushrooms non in the fridge ,

Walking and posture was bad on getting out off bed bending was hard which made getting dressed also hard .

In the afternoon went to the Tropical world at Roundhay Park it was very hot and humid I think it helped to relief both my back and hip pain , or it might have been the two 400 mg ibuprofen tablets  I took that were kicking in as well but most of the time I felt ok walking around I was in some pain but it was just about  manageable until I stopped moving and sat down .

The picture below shows ants entering the opening of the stone face they are carrying leaf and orange cuttings and taking them into the inside .

The image above looks like it as been carved to resemble a totem pole and stands quite high it was corned off and I could not get close up .I use to have a totem pole when I was a kid with my cowboy and Indians I have always liked totem poles ever since them and light houses not sure the reason behind light houses I used to always like the one at Scarborough from being very young maybe that's why , happy memories  .

After the heat of the tropical gardens went over to the Roundhay Fox and had a well dissevered pint of cider , Helen had a cuppa of tea .

ON THE PAT AND MICK

Tuesday September the 19th 2006 I started writing and posting to this blog it is amazing that  I am still going it never occurred to me I would be ,

I don't think I have ever missed a month where I have not posted  some shite .

This mainly is a diary for me instead of writing in an ordinary paper paged dairy I find this way is  a lot better  . AsI  can add photos and  post web links . I think all people should create their own blog  , You can always make it private if you only want it for your eyes .

Saying that a hand writing diary is more creative specially if you have nice hand writing you can still paste in photos or images and of course you can buy some awesome looking diaries , guess the main disadvantage is indexing them for that online is best .

FIRST DAY  PAT AND MICK (SICK} .

Called work rang them early this morning and  told them I would not be going back into work  until I am fully recovered from my hip replacement surgery .

For some reason I am now suffering Lower  back pains as well as muscle pains in my leg and pain in my hip .

My training shoes arrived this morning have to admit they are pretty good compatibles shoes I was impressed good old Bay.

need to buy more essential items need more coffee sugar t-bags and long life milk obviously more time at home more coffee is  drunk.
Also need to do a hospital list I am only in hopefully two nights but I still need certain things I have numerous downloaded content to watch on both Prime and Netflix .Need a couple of magazines to read and other things to entertain my stay .

BATTERIES

MONDAY - Bank Holiday I go back to work tonight  work is getting worse really cant be arsed do what I have to do even that is hard work mot...
