WORMS AND FLEAS

My days and nights are at the moment mostly spent online either laptop or my IPhone there is little I can do , I vacuumed the static and can make coffee and I can go out for short walks got to make sure I don't walk too far SO  its not a struggle to get back .
Printed some photos to go in to the frames that we bough a few weeks ago .
Missing being able to drive the car is on the road in front of my gates , that's so Helen can hang out the washing when needed as I can't currently move the car off the drive it is less hassle to have it parked on the road outside.

THURSDAY - Helen went to another supermarket they was also selling salted caramel Magum's on offer so she bought another two boxes that's a grand total of sixteen in total the freezer it is full .
Got the slow cooker out and dusted off we are doing some braising steak and root veg for tonight's tea  we will have it with mash pots pancakes was mentioned but never happened
Received  the cat worming tablets they was delivered on time as along with  the flea treatment that I only had ordered online Tuesday at a cost of £36 four worming tablets and six flea treatment  I even had to register and upload photographs of my cats on to the online  pet pharmacy  website .

My first physiotherapist appointment is on the 26th of June not sure how I will get there but I cant really miss it .

FRIDAY - Morning I was out in the garden taking photos of Bentley and George they was messing around in the sun Bentley the cat likes hiding in the plants and bushes Bailey just wants to mess with him .

SALTED

SATURDAY - Waking up from the first night sleeping in own bed had to sleep on Helen's side so I get in with my good leg first , what was my bad leg is now my good leg . I Slept better than being in the hospital although their beds with the electronic sections that adjust tilt rise and fall are better than the bed we have I got more sleep .

My Daughter called round tea time she took Helen to the Asda she needed ink for the printer on the way back they went to pick up some food from The Happy Valley Chinese duck curry noodles fries eating to get bette his my excuse .

MONDAY - Start off week number two if I could drive being off would be a great deal different .
only good thing is I am hardly spending any cash being house bound as its bonuses .
The weather being totally crap as helped me not bothering about being outside ,

I half cooked breakfast there is things I must not do bending forward is the main one but standing unaided I am ok , watching sausages go brown in the pan takes little effort .

Helen has also had readings and teachings to do which makes me confined to the bedroom , lying down is becoming my favourite pastime .
Thank God for the Internet Face book and all the rest be lost without it .

TUESDAY - Helen got a lift to Asda need fresh curry and jacket potatoes and ice cream can't the eat chocolate fudge cake my daughter bought me without it , its not how I was brought up .
Helen went shopping her friend Jackie took her she came back with two boxes of salted caramel Magnums highlight of my day .
Had a chicken tikka masala for evening meal done in the oven with chapatis and poppadoms yogurt and mint sauce .

HOME AGAIN

THURSDAY - Woke up after about two hours sleep it was just after 04.00 am I could hear the birds singing the morning chorus was peaceful , went to the toilet still only passing water codeine bungs you up anyway two days is nothing to worry about I kept getting asked by the nurses keep telling them no .Had three slices of toasted brown bread and two fried eggs for breakfast glass of orange and a pot of coffee this is a great hospital with great medical staff I am not moaning the food is great the staff brilliant the care super the coffee needs sorting its bad odd time its ok most of the time nah.
For someone in hospital all you have to look forward to is visitors and meal service there is not much else and of course being pain free .

I did the long corridor with my sticks it was like the green mile by the time I had turned round and got back to my room I felt I had done a marathon I am supposed to be doing the stairs this afternoon they have now put it off until tomorrow which means a third night in hospital .

No one was expecting me to be away for three nights I rang Helen told her the bad news she was ok if it was to benefit my recovery we couldn't really argue .

Late early evening to my surprise Helen and my sister came to visit me it was totally out of the blue I was to expecting it was a great surprise they also bought me a decent coffee .

FRIDAY - Woke up wanting the toilet in the next two hours I would go to the toilet the codeine had lost its fight which is what I wanted to get back to normal of course I told the nursing staff.
I had ordered fish and chips for my dinner be in the afternoon before I would be going home .

I did the stairs fine going down to Hell is meaning bad leg first , going up to Heaven meaning good leg first .

My next door neighbours came with Helen to collect me in their Chevrolet was just after two in the afternoon and after the fish and chips that were excellent I walked down to the car getting in was my worse fear did it relatively easier enough the 30 minute drive to home was fine , getting home was better .
First decent coffee in awhile and first decent nights sleep

DOUBLE BIONIC

TUESDAY  -Drove myself to the Spires Hospital got parked up was dead n time 12.20 .
we got shown unto my room it was similar to before  standard electronic bed with all the usually adjustments another tick it had a window and white bedroom furniture .It also had a en suite shower toilet and hand wash basin . My consultant and surgeon came to see me I signed the necessary forms for consent permission etc next of kin details and he ran through the rest of the day.

Then the anesthetist came round to see me and explain his role and procedure , I was given a gown to put on tied at the side It was way after six at night when I walked down to the operating suite I was ok what was going to be was going to be no point in not accepting whatever lay ahead can say I said a pray and had my fingers crossed .I had a i intervenes line put into the back of my hand for sedation .

I sat on the edge of said operating table they raised it up to  the max then I was given a stool  to  put my feet on a and a pillow to hug they sprayed my back it went ice cold they  stuck some sort of sticky sheet to my back not sure why then I arched forward hugging the pillow and the needle after he  had kneaded  my back checking the alignment of my spine my bone he hit the spot and the drugs did their magic .
I woke up up in recovery the sedation must have done its job I remembered nothing of the operation last time I was listening to albums on my iPod ,just over two and a half hours I was back in my room my sisters were there , as  Anne was driving both my car and Helen back home .

The first night I managed some sleep not a lot I think I watched some You Tube videos and listened to some tracks on Spotify .

WEDNESDAY - Got out of bed sat in a chair felt just like before hard work to move had some lunch Mushroom soup and a lamb and mint burger with fries .I managed to pass urine and managed to walk using a Zimmer frame I had .Jacket potatoes cheese and baked beans for tea .The pain is manageable it feels different from last time I seem less good mobility wise  time round I am more unsure about walking balance and pain and getting in and out of bed for some reason it seems a lot harder  now I have two artificial replacement hips .

ANOTHER 48 HOURS .

I want to buy some Stadler black drawing pens and start to sketch in journals I have been inspired by watching "Wild We Roam " on You Tube and Dana's Inktober book she was making which was basically a hand drawn drawing she did in her sketch book journal relating to where she was and what location she was visiting on that day .
Also makes you want to buy a camper van and fcuk off and visit Europe chase the sun end up in Greece Isles or Turkey  .

my Instagram account is here it as not been going as long as the blog

https://www.instagram.com/bobyea16/

Opened my savings tin/ can  it was sealed both ends the only way to get in is with a can opener once its opened its no longer any use . There was over £200 and I wasn't even trying I took half the money went out bought another tin and put the other hundred pounds in to start me off once more .

SUNDAY - Went over to visit Helen's parents over at York had dinner with them on the way home I stopped in at my daughters house for a coffee won't see her again until after my operation another 48 hours will be done and dusted hopefully feeling good and pain free like last time

MONDAY - Had another shower using the anti bacterial shower gel I will get a few extra couple of showers as there is more than enough left .
Cleaned out the fish tank it has been a while to be honest it was ok have seen it a lot worse in a shorted period of time . When I can drive will buy new purchase new filter pads it Took me a good three hours to empty at the water and clean the filter and light and  clean all the rocks and gravel I took all the fish out and put them in to a clean builders bucket in 24 hours the water will be crystal which is always nice .

Last night at home tomorrow night I will be in my private hospital on suite although I can't use the shower as under no circumstances can I get my wound dressing wet .

BEST OF BOTH

Made a booster for my chair , as my knees have to be lower than my hips one way of achieving this is to heighten the chair so I sit taller . Basically it is a three inch frame the size of the wing back chair the cushion is used as a template .  it is then boarded both sides and the cushion from the chair is taken out and the new boarded frame is  then located and the cushion placed back on top,  resulting in  my knees being a lot lower than my hips sorted .

Cleaned some of the garden debris up old leaves weeds etc and bagged  it up all ready to go to the local tip tomorrow .

FRIDAY

Picked a sick note up from the doctors it runs out on the 5th of  September as I was promised which I am happy bout saves a lot of messing around , need to drop it in the post to my line manager although is full aware of my condition and time needed away from work , I get full pay for six months .

Went back to the Spires hospital at Elland  for a second lot of blood tests was told the first ones were ok  , also started using as instructed  the anti bacterial nose cream and the body wash which I have to use over the next five days .

We need to clean the fish tank out that we are doing first job Saturday morning it takes a good hour and half to empty clean the filter clean the rocks and glass and re-fill the tank back up once it is done its good for a few months now we have fewer fish it will stay cleaner for longer .

We have decided that I will drive to the hospital Tuesday in my car and my sister will visit me the night of my op and take my car and Helen home otherwise it would be a taxi and Helen would not be able to be with me until later in the evening when she can get a lift everyone is at work .

SATURDAY  - Did some shopping bought a load of cat food and cat biscuits  and dog food .
bought more coffee and brown sugar well stocked up as well as 3 x 2litre bottles of B.0.B milk which stands for best of both a tasty as semi skimmed but as good as low fat milk another advantage it will last in the fridge a good twenty to twenty five days , ideal if you can't get to the shops for awhile .

Also finally bought some blue suede slippers Elvis would be proud and some grey shorts for my two night stay in hospital .
Second day of using the anti bacterial nose cream and shower gel to kill MRSA if there is any lurking last time I was clear so hopefully it is the same this time round .

EATING - Jacket spud three cheese spread fried onions and mushrooms and a nice piece of steak .

LISTENING TO  - David Grey and Lewis Capaldi's new album Divinely Inspired To A Hellish Content thanks Spotify , plus Bill Nelson lead singer from Be Bop Deluxe Noisy Candy .

DULY NOTED

Need a sick note I rang the surgery  this morning and  I was put on a call back , they never rang me I rang them  back late in the  afternoon a sick note had been left for me for one whole week what a joke someone having a giraffe a week was no good I told the receptionist  .  I got to speak with a doctor told him my recovery was a minimum of twelve weeks and he agreed  he said that he would rewrite another sick note that  I will pick it up tomorrow and  it is now for twelve weeks so  that's me sorted for the next three months .

Having surgery makes you re-think life guess its like a near death experience all invasive surgery carries a risk and the after results are not guaranteed hopefully you are better than before you went under the knife but until you are fully recovered you can only surmise that it was the best thing for you to do.

I Am suffering but was going to put it off I though I would improve once the warmer weather arrived I was wrong I don't know what I would have done if I had not gone to see the consultant when I did I would have had to have had more time off work and I would have been in greater  pain for that much longer , I called it right .

I have made a list of all the things I want to take I am only in for two nights but that will be 48 hours I might as well have everything I need from the word go .

Essentials for me is a tablet and my iPhone goes without saying I have books , films and music more than enough for 48 hours I have program's downloaded from the BBC , ITV as well as Prime and Netflix .
I need a couple of pens which I have and a new writing book / journal type note book which I will buy locally .

ALL WHITE

Cant believe how much pain I get when my leg gives it seems to be getting worse it was never this bad before I was waiting surgery for my first hip replacement   . Even when I am laid down in bed it hurts and causes a terrible shooting pain it is  like a red hot needle piercing my hip the best thing is it does not last , when I move or try to get out of bed  too quickly  can trigger this pain .it leaves a dull ache behind ---I AM NOW ACTUALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SURGERY.

I have actually have been taking Ibuprofen tablets to dull the ache which is something I have never really had to do before ,

I need to get some proper slippers as I am not allowed to wear my sliders in the hospital , which is my usual attire I also need to get some shorts the ones that are made out of sweat pant material .

I would like to get a new toilet bag and overnight case but I will manage with what I have if I remember last time I was in I could have done with a power brick to charge my phone this time  I will take one with me .I would also like 2 x 1 litre metal water bottles , drinking water always gets warm in hospitals .orange and mango dilute with ice is what I have been taking to work with me .

Need to save my mobile data  on my iPhone  whilst at home make sure I am on our wi-fi  as  I am up to 80% of my 15gb monthly allowance , the hospital wi-fi was not good can't see this having got any better and my new allowance  allocation will start on the 13th by then I should be back at home.

I have three jars of my favourite coffee and three large bags of brown sugar and a jar of coffee mate
Helen as well over 65 tea bags and three bags of white sugar we should be ok need to get some long life milk just in case .

Took our dogs Pip and Bailey to the vets for de -worming , fleeing and their nails cutting they also got tablets for the next three months .they also both had a shower bath Bailey is nearly all white again .

ONE WEEK TODAY

SUNDAY - Went over to Helen's parents static home at Acaster Malbis , as once I have had  my operation which is only  a week this coming Tuesday I can not drive my car for at least six weeks , even if I feel able technical I am nit insured .

Went to the Ship Inn for lunch time  drinks her parents go to Wales tomorrow for a five day break.

MONDAY - My hip seems to be getting worse I don't remember suffering as bad as I am now it is hard getting dressed and my leg just gives way and more or less involuntary collapses weird I have little control of when this happens .

I will get a sick note this week to send into work I am hoping I will get one for around twelve weeks .
My hip joint hurts even when I am sat down , soon I will have to sleep on my back with surgical support socks for a total of six weeks this was hard last time round it seems forever and it gets harder as time goes by.I feel my nervous this time round then I did the last time you get to the stage you just want it done and dusted and get on the road to recovery .

Went over to Uppermill mainly because it was sunny and I needed to get out I am ok driving getting out after I have got there is not without pain . Bought a curry for tea and two punnets of fresh strawberries  , Helen had a reading at six  ,I took myself off to bed with a large coffee whilst watching You Tube videos .

One more week and I will be at my hospital hopefully under going surgery this week will fly by .

TOTALLY TROPICAL

SATURDAY - Did not sleep well last night my  back was aching and my  hip joint was also causing me some pain , No matter how hard I tried I just could not get comfy , I was awake every couple of hours I was listening to tunes on Spotify even this was not making me nod off .

After taking my dog Bailey out for his morning stroll I did a oven cooked breakfast a full English well minus the mushrooms non in the fridge ,

Walking and posture was bad on getting out off bed bending was hard which made getting dressed also hard .

In the afternoon went to the Tropical world at Roundhay Park it was very hot and humid I think it helped to relief both my back and hip pain , or it might have been the two 400 mg ibuprofen tablets  I took that were kicking in as well but most of the time I felt ok walking around I was in some pain but it was just about  manageable until I stopped moving and sat down .

The picture below shows ants entering the opening of the stone face they are carrying leaf and orange cuttings and taking them into the inside .

The image above looks like it as been carved to resemble a totem pole and stands quite high it was corned off and I could not get close up .I use to have a totem pole when I was a kid with my cowboy and Indians I have always liked totem poles ever since them and light houses not sure the reason behind light houses I used to always like the one at Scarborough from being very young maybe that's why , happy memories  .

After the heat of the tropical gardens went over to the Roundhay Fox and had a well dissevered pint of cider , Helen had a cuppa of tea .

ON THE PAT AND MICK

Tuesday September the 19th 2006 I started writing and posting to this blog it is amazing that  I am still going it never occurred to me I would be ,

I don't think I have ever missed a month where I have not posted  some shite .

This mainly is a diary for me instead of writing in an ordinary paper paged dairy I find this way is  a lot better  . AsI  can add photos and  post web links . I think all people should create their own blog  , You can always make it private if you only want it for your eyes .

Saying that a hand writing diary is more creative specially if you have nice hand writing you can still paste in photos or images and of course you can buy some awesome looking diaries , guess the main disadvantage is indexing them for that online is best .

FIRST DAY  PAT AND MICK (SICK} .

Called work rang them early this morning and  told them I would not be going back into work  until I am fully recovered from my hip replacement surgery .

For some reason I am now suffering Lower  back pains as well as muscle pains in my leg and pain in my hip .

My training shoes arrived this morning have to admit they are pretty good compatibles shoes I was impressed good old Bay.

need to buy more essential items need more coffee sugar t-bags and long life milk obviously more time at home more coffee is  drunk.
Also need to do a hospital list I am only in hopefully two nights but I still need certain things I have numerous downloaded content to watch on both Prime and Netflix .Need a couple of magazines to read and other things to entertain my stay .

NOT GOING BACK

Went shopping stocked up on certain items for the freezer four  packets of smoked bacon , four packets of Richmond pork sausages , a bag of hash browns , dozen cans of baked beans ,  breakfast for a few days at least  also stocked up Gregg's frozen pasties sausage cheese and bean melts .steak bakes , and chicken pasties and corned beef bakes not the healthiest of diets but back up for  the freezer seeing that very soon  I won't be able to drive for six weeks .

I also bought two lots of extra large  shower gels  and  two pump dispensers of tooth paste and mouth wash , some hair gel and shaving gel and spray deodorant.

In one of the aisle I slipped on some clear gel like liquid and I nearly did the splits not sure how I kept upright . My bad leg took the lead and  most of the force it was not good. I am in agony this happened a few hours before I was due to go into work , Back at home putting the shopping away my leg just gave way , and an intense pain is now in my thigh muscle  , I had little or no choice but to ring in sick , the amount of walking I do  some nights is never ending I can't chance my hip totally fcuking  up all I need to do is  to battle on until the 11th of June  and make it for my planned operation . For some reason this hip is far worse than my previous hip prior to surgery , so getting new hip will be a big blessing .

FRIDAY - I rang work and told them I will not be back until after my op and I am fully recovered .
If I cant perform an emergency stop correctly I should not be driving it is a 50 mile round trip on a busy motorway which is fine coming home at 02.00 am but going I am in rush hour traffic , why chance it , I cant .

MADE THE PRE OP

Bought a pair of mens grey mesh trainers with white soles  of eBay for the priceless sum of  £10.59 if they are half decent might get another pair in white they should be delivered by this coming  next Thursday .

Cloudy cider is on offer at Asda ten cans for £6.50 a proper barging also the had some salted caramel ice cream lollies in as well double whammy ,

Took my car in to the dealership for a service I pay each month direct debit so I never get hammered with an unexpected bill it is driving like a dream they adjusted the hand brake all is well .

My daughter is opening her own hair salon with her good friend they should make a proper killing because they are both brilliant stylist and have a great clientele list I wish the the very best for their new adventure think maybe that my daughter is the first in our family after my ex wife of having their own business .We was there doing some painting they are all ready to go .

SUNDAY - Went to the Hare and Hounds Inn for Sunday dinner they vegetables where not to my liking they had roasted parsnips and potatoes which was fine the beef was ok Helen had a side of cauliflower cheese it was way under cooked won't go back there in a hurry .

TUESDAY - Went for my pre op , I  finally had an x-ray completed , bloods done , urine tested and a ECG completed and I was also swabbed for MRSA , I was also given a tube of nose cream and some body wash to use five days prior to my operation  .Which is on the 11th if June .I have a decision to make when I leave work prior to my operation I want some time before to prepare for things also once I am away from work I run less risk of picking up an infection .

BETTER DISTRESSED

SATURDAY - Helen had numerous readings to do the other side of Leeds I waited in the car watching Man of Fire with Denzel Washington and John Wick 1 , I bought myself kebab meat and chips with chilli sauce and a can of coke by the time we had got home it was after half past eleven .

SUNDAY . Helen had a reading book din for half past twelve  after we went to the Springs retail park called in at H&M they had 15% off all purchases I bought a denim jacket , it is the first denim jacket I have owned for years , my last one was a Levi this looks like a Levi but a third of the price  and to be honest it more than likely fits me better .And of cause the more  it is worn  and the more distressed it gets the better .

MONDAY - Up before the alarm went off at seven had a shave and shower before taking Bailey out my two cats also go for a walk usually each morning ,

We Was back at Pinderfields hospital this time it was s scheduled Helen had an appointment it was to see the gynecologist to see if all was in order , everything was normal which of course was god news .

We had breakfast at the canteen there a full English breakfast was  just over £9 for the both of us and to be fair it is better than our staff canteen at the hospital where I work at , saying that I have not eaten there since I use to go when I first started seeing Helen .

First shift back after having three nights off last week emergency annual leave , I don't have many left to do before I go for my second hip replacement operation on the 11th of June .

Bought some more jacket potatoes and three cheese with fried chicken yum yum .

WATCHING - Got the last episode of Game of Thrones to watch on my iPhone hope it is as good as all the hype and not a big let down .

Also I have Bumblebee to watch and Crank one and two also to watch .

SMOKING

FRIDAY - Third night shift off from work it is not what I though I would be doing this week but we had to go back.

Back to  the Ambulatory unit at Pinderfields hospital we  got there well before eight a.m , We was more or less the first in the queue only told that the consultants doctors don't start until nine o clock fcuking typical , After seeing the consultant we was told to go back to our own G.P . So it was well after four pm when we left the unit . Helen had some meds to pick up from the hospital pharmacy which was another 15 minute wait .The parking ticket did not work again we got another days free parking which helped .

On the way home stopped at a filling station for some petrol , Helen bought a packet of 20 cigarettes a big step backwards it is the first packet she has bought since December last year  or the first packet this year , we need to see if the E-cig is causing her leg cramps , she goes to see the give up smoking nurse next Tuesday until then she is back on the dreaded weed , hopefully it is only short term .I think she realises what extra Money she had by not buying any smokes and of course the benefits to her health  .

Listening to - David Grey Gold in a Brass Age on Spotify think Spotify is really an amazing app why anyone would buy music any other way is beyond me no wonder the likes of HMV are struggling.

Watching - Bumblebee and John Wick 1 & 2  and of course Game of Thrones.

Eating - Jacket Spuds with chilli and cheese.

wishing - We was abroad near the sea at a bar

Praying - Helen to get well ,  fit and strong and of course  be totally  pain free  asp

WITH WINGS

Spent most of Wednesday at the Ambulatory at Pinderfield's hospital we was sent by our doctors we had called for a regular appointment when they saw the red rash on Helen's legs mainly on her shines .
It was just after eleven in the morning it was just after seven in the evening when we got out they reckon  it may have been due ti was due to her under active thyroid ,  it was also mentioned she might need to have a hysterectomy we will have an appointment in the next two weeks to confirm this ,  Hopefully over the next few days her legs will return to normal, Our Hospital parking ticket got corrupted some how the payment machine inside the hospital did not read it and came up with a error message  when pressing the intercom button I was told to return to my car drive it to the exit barriers and then press the help button , I did has I was told when I got there and pressed the button and the barrier was  lifted as if by magic and I was free to go reckon it saved me the bet part of £12.

Seeing has I managed to wrangle the night off work we went for fish and chips to the Wetherby whaler which was some saving grace to the end of a crappy day .

THURSDAY - No work tonight either we have an early hospital appointment Friday so we went to Meadow Hall again I bought myself six crew neck short sleeved  T-Shirts from Primark 2 in  the following colours  pure white , 2 in light blue and 2 in a  mustard yellow.

The picture I took below is of Helen taken on my iPhone X max , using an available  back drop at Meadow Hall.

Had a coffee shot caramel cream topped Frappuccino  at Starbucks  causing massive brain freeze never had one before usually go for the strawberry one which is well nice .

E - CRAMPS

Well we have both gone back to Apple after switching to Android . We went back to the O2 outlet in Trinity and we both  got a iPhone 256gb XS max . Helen opted for the gold and me the silver it is costing £120 a month for both devices .We don't spend money on drink and Helen stopped smoking last December so why not .Although it is a three year contract they should be enough in the re-sale value after two years to pay the contract of and upgrade .The only thing is they don't give you a lighting to headphone cable I remember getting this in the iPhone 7 which is the last iPhone we had at a cost of £1245 to buy its a bit mean not to .its the cost of  MacBook .
I set mine up whilst at work and got it back to how my S8 was set up got logged back into my main apps including Spotify , You tube , Facebook and  Instagram .The speakers are better and the colours displayed on the screen are excellent we are pleased we made the move back .
And so far so good no complaints. You forget all the shite you have on your phone , its nice to have a clean slate

Helen's cramps are no better I bought her some coconut water £3.49 a cartoon thought thy grew on trees she is still waiting the results from her MRI scan and as had more blood tests  , also there is a link from using E- cigarettes and leg and foot cramps  she has stopped since end of last December.

I had eggs with my full English  breakfast it is the first time ever I have cracked open an egg  with a double yolk .

1ST TAT

We have been to the local O2 store as we are both looking to upgrade our current phone which is  the Samsung S8  I am afraid it is going to be bye bye Android and  hello again Apple IOS .The question is which one of the current models do we got for  the iPhone 8 is not really in the running as the new contract will be three years to cover the cost of the new mobile  including 15gb of data ,unlimited minutes and texts .
I guess over three years you need to start out with the best phone possible and which is affordable on a monthly contract  , we have been told will get £155 trade in for each S8  , so decisions need to be made .I think it will either be a white XR with 128gb of storage or maybe the XS with the dual camera  the max be ideal but the dearest one possible around £65 a month ouch.

WEDNESDAY - Below a picture of my daughters freshly done tattoo she had this done for the memory of her mother who sadly passed this year. it was done by Ruth at red tattoo in Leeds city centre at a cost of £160 it is on her rib cage below her armpit think she is already planning her next one .My daughter is over them moon with it can't say I blame her .

BISHOPTHORPE FOR LUNCH

FIDAY - Went shopping again over to York at  Monksgate retail outlet called into H&M bought two polo shirts  in nice rich cotton one in white the other navy with white stripes also bought two shirts and a pair of jeans .I bought Helen some tops and other stuff we sign up to the membership scheme and got 10% off which worked at around a £28 saving .
Also went to Primemark I bought a few T-shirts and some sliders and Helen got some vests and pjs .

Got an unexpected missed call from my Son and a text message asking if I would ring him I did he never picked up I left it an hour and rang him again for a second time once again he never picked up. So  I rang my daughter to see if she knew of any issues or problems that he had she had not spoken to him . Eventually he rang me he is not in a happy place he is missing his mother who passed just after Christmas and like us all he has regrets of the things he did , and the things he didn't do and of course the things he wanted to say but  never got to say , life is a ticking clock that runs way too fast for us all , and we never know one year to the next what's left on the timer we are all going to be in a similar position at some stage of our life's all we can do is to treat others the way we wish to be treated and hopefully get the majority of things done and the majority of the things we want to say said.

Massive jacket potatoes  with butter with a can of Stag chilli and grated cheddar cheese has got to be one of my favourite meals it just hits the spot ever time , well cooked sausage mash potatoes and baked beans is another both easy simple meals but so just right .
