RICHMOND IN THE FOG

No work yesterday I took the day off annual leave ,we went to Richmond to see a psychic demonstration by Deborah Chalmers ,the motorway was very foggy you could see it rolling towards you we got to Richmond just after five,it was cold even though we was wrapped up the cold still bite.Helen bought her parents Christmas present a solid wooden hand finished  tortoise , the shop had loads of things to buy spread over three floors we plan on going back , we bought fish and chips and ate them in the car the freshly cooked food steamed the car windows we kept the interior light on after we had finished we walked round the town and went for a pint next door to the town hall where the demonstration was.

The figure above  i like not sure why it has enlarged hands and feet but i think its very motherly they was over priced Helen said why don't i make one , wouldn't know where to start and how much blue tac would i need.

The town hall at Richmond the fog does not look bad here but the drive on the motorway was full of fog patches it was like a horror film .

A thousand lights on the tower white light always looks good at night

regarding the tortoise i said to Helen drill a hole in the top of its shell to take a candle or night light or even incense sticks , like Queen Victoria she was not amused , i thought it would  be the ideal gift.

The psychic Deborah Chalmers was very good she was one of the best ones we have seen and has good or nearly  as good Steven Holbrook who we have seen numerous times , there was nearly fifty people in the audience and a lot got messages that where in depth and lasted for ten to fifteen minutes , i think Helen will want to go and see her talking to her afterwards , she is hoping to appear in Leeds where we live.

Above is a grave yard a few hundred yards form our house this was taken at ten o clock this morning it does not look like its going to lift its very peaceful .

NOT MUCH LIKE CHRISTMAS

its not feeling much like Christmas's every year after a certain age it get less exciting , when i was younger going to the bars and clubs  every Thursday ,Friday and all  of the weekend everybody was in the Christmas spirit and talking about the festive period weeks before the big day people would be playing parties and time off work , then there be the works christmas piss up around town the first year i worked i got hammered on southern comfort i hate the stuff now , don't think i every drank a drop again.

when my children was young the build up  happened a few months before ,as we were buying presents for them and wrapping them up , buying advent calenders with chocolates in  and new tree decorations to hang  up now we make do with what we have and have bought no new decorations this year at all , except some new lights for the mantle piece over the fire.

At my job previous to this one everyone use to bring in mince pies on a daily basis there would be newly bought freshly made  mince pies to eat usually from a decent bakery or outlet , so far this year we have bought a packet of six , helen warmed hers up in the microwave too long and she scalded her mouth , and up to press   i have had one slice of christmas cake and no stollen slices  and no christmas pudding  truffles.

Even Television will be rubbish as  usually they don't make an effort what so ever to put anything decent on its all repeats again ,i have  not heard one new christmas record thats been released and i don't know what toys all the young ones are craving for  this year , it will be a I-pad mini our gaming console , we as kids always use to always get something artistic to do be it  painting by numbers or colouring books along with  loads of felt tip pens and pencils , and the metallic foil  scratch off picture which was either a tiger or a dolphin , and always a diary usually from someone's work place that was a freebie.

This year we will again go up to Uppermill Saddleworth moor to do our christmas food shop and we will get all the food we need for a good few days pigging out we will get a gammon joint and turkey crown and all fresh winter root vegetables  pies including a few pork and meat pies as well as freshly baked bread , we will also drive around the villages  to see the lights that  everyone decorates there houses with.

Looks quite a nice day the sun is playing out but it is still cold , i hate Mondays after a weekend its back to the grind stone , i have my training course Wednesday at least its paid overtime and i have Thursday off , as we are going to Richmond a town in north Yorkshire about fifty five miles away , to see a psychic she packed in a £55k job to do her psychic work full time , Hopefully it does not start to snow and put heed to our plans .

Its five to ten in the morning and i have been trying to get Helen out of bed and up FOR THE LAST THIRTY MINUTES  its worse than having a young child , i know it was two a.m when we went to bed but even so its still eight hours sleep she has had , i have had less and i am up .

I appreciate  it is hard getting up when the heating is not on the room is cold and bed so warm , this is England West Yorkshire and its winter time we have four seasons summer always seems to be the shortest and winter always the longest , we even ice on the inside of the window its like being back  in the sixties  , the net curtains use to freeze to the inside of the window we use to leave the fridge door open to heat the room up , first up best dressed .

WISH WE WERE THERE

WE went for breakfast after last weeks fiasco we thought we give it another go. It was back to being spot on , to prove it i had three sausages , two bacon , egg beans and loads of potatoe gammon cheese and onions and two slices of toast and two cups of coffee all for under six pounds ,the only thing missing was black pudding suppose one cant have it all , they even had individual portions of Nutella i hate the stuff but  pinched three packets to take home as Helen likes it on toast i spoil that Woman  ,  its good because you can stock up on individual marmalade and jams its all left unattended.

Went to the Crematorium at Lawnswood placed a red  Christmas bauble on a tree above my mothers and Fathers plaque the sun was out but It was windy even Pip had her coat on , we walked around for a while before coming home .

My Daughter is at Piha beach she wrote on Face book the following - Went to the coolest beach ever yesterday! Was miles from anything in between mountains and forests! Black sand beaches, Waterfalls, went climbing, sunbathing was awesome!! I love Piha!.

From the photos i have  Googled i have to agree its very tropical and so much nicer than the  East  English coastline ,All i can say is i wish that we was there as well.

I HEARD THE NEWS TODAY OH BOY

Helen had two readings booked last night and only one turned up and had three booked into night and only two turned up ,run up to Christmas it was suspected it would be slower than normal.

we are spending a small fortune on gas at the moment  its so cold we are forever feeding the meter to live somewhere warmer would be a blessing.

It must be hard for those homeless people that are having to find shelter or end up sleeping on the city streets ,we have a government who don't really give a shit they are warm and well feed fat cats , why when the Queen with all her money when she sees homeless people on the streets of the capital ,then why does she not  dig in her pockets and build a massive hostel for all the homeless people and give something back to a country you has kept her and her family in health and wealth she should sell a few of her priceless paintings  and jewels to have one built , i have always wondered why she does nothing.

i am still thinking about my to do list for 2013 i have been doing a lot of calligraphy writing or trying to do i have been inspired by the Theosone a graffiti artist  and calligraphy guru .

CHRISTMAS OFF

Well i have been given the Christmas week off i did put a request in for annual leave a few weeks ago , when i didn't hear anything i went to see her ,and to my surprise  she said not a problem i can take it off . i know  its bound to piss some workers off big time so i have decided to tell no one as there is less chance off a backlash ,as a supervisor they would expect me to be working especially if they have been told they have  to work it.

Helen's readings have dropped she did not do any over the week end and she has not done  any so far this week she had three the other night but they never turned up ,  she has one reading to do  tonight who as confirmed that she is still  attending and a couple more if they turn up Friday and Saturday , we did expect it to drop over the Christmas period hopefully the new year wont be that bad and it will pick up.

In away i will be glad when this year is over and hopefully we are due a good year regarding selling the house and moving on hopefully life will improve and we will be living more on the edge of the city rather than in it , Bramley is not a great place to live there is worse places but there is a lot of nicer places i miss being near the canal and i hate being on a main road i don't see why we need a three bedroom house and there is just two of us.

Going to make a to do list for the new year and set myself goals and targets of things i want to do and to achieve  , i did this years ago and i hit everyone on my list a couple where to pass my driving test and to go abroad which i did in the same year , plus other ones concerning job and relationships at the time i was living on my own , this must have been over thirty five years ago so a new list is way over due so over the next few days i will put my thinking cap on and see what's to do and what i want on my list for 2013.

THE TREES ARE UP

Its my Mothers birthday today bless her if she was still alive she be getting all giddy about Christmas ,I guess loads of people will be missing loved ones at this time of year and for some i know that Christmas is harder than any normal day , i love Christmas and will always do , but as always  its better done with money but if money is lacking its good to know  we can still have nice cooked good food  , desserts and drinks and like everything its as cheap or dear as you want to make it , our first Christmas Helen and i shared , we didn't even have a tree and it was only a few days before that we were staying in a hotel together we was waiting until we got the keys for our new  apartment , but yesterday  we put both of our trees up , we dragged the decorations out of the garage and we now have a tree in the kitchen dinner with coloured lights and the larger  one of the two is in the living room with clear lights on.  We have two reindeer's for the garden at the back of the house and a string of new clear  lights for our fir tree at the front of the house , we no advent calenders which i should have bought as its any excuse for chocolate.also i have downloaded the latest Christmas album and its  no different to any previous album that has been released its a true  ghost from Christmas past as  their is no new Christmas records that have been released or charted in the last few years  that are any good so there is never no better albums released than there was ten years ago.

Above is Whitcoulls apartment store and its giant Santa  my daughters new apartment is smack  in the city and is on the left of this photo , she has promised to update her blog and Facebook with pictures of her new pad and its interior  , she has told me its the best rental place that  she as stayed in so far and its fully furnished , i am happy to know she is settled once more .

Helen is buying me a new Pioneer stereo for the car it has a usb slot and i can connect my i-phone to it as well the first year we were together she bought me a Tom Tom sat nav and it turned out to be one of the best presents i have ever received it has saved me money bye getting me to where i want to go tells me where all the petrol stations are so i don't run out of gas , where all the speed cameras are so i don't get fined for speeding and where all the Starbucks are located on route  for a caffeine fix specially on long journeys , no doubt the stereo will be just as useful.

STRUMMING ALONG

Saturday
Was up just after nine this morning , and   we are planing on going in to Leeds city centre and buying a guitar for Helen's Christmas present , i bet it will be busy as everyone gets paid at the end of the month , but  its very cold but saying that at least the car is clear of ice and i can get in and drive off with out freezing my fingers of scrapping the windscreen like yesterday the sun is putting in an appearance so sods law that tonight will be colder.

Not had any earth shattering news from my daughter she is keeping a low profile she moved in to her new place the previous Monday  yet she  has not bothered to  post any photos on face book and she has nor skyped me , she has pasted a few things on Facebook but nothing saying what she is up to our if she is ok .

one of the nicest things is wearing new socks , new under wear and new jeans i have my new Jack Jones jeans on and they feel good and have that new jeans smell.

We picked my Nephew Mark up he is an insomniac and he was outside waiting as we pulled up he was our advisor on guitars and what not to buy , Helen only criteria was that it was black and had six strings .
We ended up going to a shop out of town having looked in three possible shops in the city centre , we ended up buying a black Yamaha electric acoustic for £266 we got a padded case thrown in it has a really nice sound Helen bought a stand for it , and i will get her a leather strap , she wanted to play it but its to go to Santa.

On the way home we called at McDonald's got a winter warmer burger surprisingly good ,with large fries and best yet a banana milk shake.

Sunday
went to our favorite restaurant for breakfast and it turned out to be the worse food we have had there even the coffee was not up to scratch , mentioning scratch my car had been keyed through the night by some low life tosser , after breakfast i went to a hand car wash to get all the grime off then i bought some black touch up crayon and some black wax its not an invisible repair but its better than it was.

My calligraphy pen came yesterday and i had a write with it just jotting down words writing my name i am quite impressed with it might get the next size down the one i have is a 3.5 mm nib the one next size down is a 2.4 mm i also ordered another twelve black cartridges , i will order some different colour inks once i have mastered the basics .

I got a pair of Jack Jones jeans for fifty pounds went to fat face the had two different styles not what i wanted tried another shop all boot cut like fcuking flares am not a cowboy.

Went to the German market at Millennium square bought some French vanilla coffer and Irish whiskey coffee grounds  Helen got to see the city centre  Christmas lights for the first time this year,we plan on going back next weekend

wet saturday

We had another viewing on the house at ten this morning ,we was suppose to get up and go get fresh flowers etc we didn't ,the lady viewing has not even got her house on the market yet so can't see her rushing to buy .

Replaced the dimmer switch sometimes when a bulb blows it knackers the switch and it needs replacing this has happened before its a pain in the bum as I always turn the electric of totally before working on it ,so all the timers go to pot and want resetting .

Went round to my nephews place at midday he plays the guitar very well and we wanted to gain some knowledge we both learned a lot in the sort time we was there ,we are going in to town tomorrow to have a look at get the feel for some different makes and models Helens only spec is its got to be a cut away and an  acoustic electric in black easy least.

Cooking with gas

well I have a choice as always in life , its regarding Helen's Christmas present it is either going to be an acoustic guitar or a I pad mini.
She will be happy with either, and will leave it up to me to decide , if its a guitar she really needs to hold it for size , weight and comfort etc , so she really needs to go with me to the shop. I think she will get more use out of the iPad and I know it has garage band on it and different guitar apps to down load but guess its how serious she is about learning to play guitar, she wants to learn to play the chords from the music Into the wild, thanks Eddie Vedder.

Helen made or baked two apple and sultana apple pies the pastry is like eating shortbread gorgeous bet they don't last long ,she went out I demolished half off one , well she shouldn't have left me to my own devices.

Oh I wish it was summer least we wouldn't have to keep feeding the gas meter , its a hungry Horace it eats credit relentlessly , like me and apple pies , except they were baked in the oven and that's electric we have a dual fuel cooker.

Mondays for thinking

I know my English grammar and literature are way off the mark ,I guess I should improve it .At school our learning looking back was very poor in the three R,s,yet no one every moaned or complained , in mathematics we did weeks of logarithm,s using our logarithm tables from our logarithm books 'we was assured this was what we needed in the great world beyond the school gates in the workplace bullshit ' it was false I have never had or will ever need to use this useless knowledge that we spent months of lessons on same as equations and algebra no or little point to it if A equaled X what's 1 equal to who gives a flying fcuk .

English class consisted of reading Mice and men and 'Stig of the dump , right rubbish no Shakespeare no Romeo and Juliet, in  R.E we read The Cross and the switchblade 'and Run Baby Run real life stories of the American street gangs and the Mau Maus lead by Nicky Cruz , least it was more akin to real life then algebra and logarithm,s.

English schools on council estates are no better today children are not being taught right its sad kids are brilliant when it comes to technology computers Mobil phones but simple maths spelling forget it we are behind people coming from Africa , India have a better reading and writing skills ' unless you have money and can afford private school fees or tuition then its a sad state of affairs.

Helen wants to learn to play the guitar is if she is serious then she is going to need an acoustic axe she could be Leeds answer to Mary Hopkins , well maybe not .I would like to play an synthesizer I guess just because you don't have to blow it or pluck it just finger it.

New year coming up in a few weeks times need to learn new stuff get some new hobbies I like be more artistic , getting my calligraphy pen and inks next pay day and book have started reading more thanks to my Nexus might do more photography and learn photo suite seriously and buy a mountain bike lose a few pounds that's in weight not money.

I wonder how many people will forever change their lives in the new year my daughter did she packed it all in and with only £800 went to Australia half of it is saying enough is enough I want change the rest is having the bottle to do it.

viewing 3

Had another viewing on the house today at four this afternoon , coincidence was it was some one who used to work at the hospital, don't think they will buy it but who knows if its a decent offer were selling adios Green Hill Road.
Stocked up on meatballs and cheese and tortilla wraps ,Helen did a reiki healing session at seven tonight that went really good and hopefully has three readings tomorrow, internet is down tethering using I phone keep getting booted off I have my mobile network 3 phoning me up to discuss my case I was told I was allowed to hotspot my phone as I am on Ayce data package and I said this is what I wanted to do , and was told no problem, see what happens .

JUST A DAY

Helen thought she had left her best tarot deck of cards and her wooden tarot card box in the back of a taxi cab , i finished work and picked her up we went to the supermarket this was just before midnight when she realised we phoned the taxi firm up and they contacted the drive nothing was found in the taxi , she was gutted. When we got home the cards and box where on the kitchen table just lying the near the edge they where she had left then earlier as  she had forgotten to take them in the first place .

The Nexus is messing me around its getting very temperamental i am getting annoyed it closing windows explorer when its connected things are not showing up when i transfer items its getting a bloody pain should have got a i-pad.

Watching the four twilight films i have never bothered with them , but now  i am watching the first one and i am hooked .

received a call from my daughter this morning just after eight o clock she is fine and moving house again the internet has been cut off , she has six houses to look at monday and hopefully will find somewhere a nicer or better  to live.

I was getting my haircut at nine o clock  this morning thanks to Louise who also is happening to be moving in to a lovely new house , hopefully we be moving next if we ever get a offer for this house we are living in at the moment .

I called in to shop in the city centre this is the city centre of Leeds there is a shop selling all American sweets ,biscuits and breakfast cereals , pop etc  called Candy Hero , you are  paying way over the odds  or  i guess triple the amount or  more than what they cost state side , and there's a queue to the checkout . Lucky charms £9.00 (sterling)  lucky if you get any fcuking change  , christ chocolate is chocolate m&m's and jelly beans the same has we have for a quarter of the price they are selling english toffee from America what's all  that about i was grinning like a Cheshire cat ,guess people think they are being cool oh to be young and not give a fcuk no mortgage no bills living with mum and dad they do right cant knock them.

HARD WORK

Saturday Helen had a last minute reading to do at three , then she had a party booked for three at seven one lady was too hard to read for she was understanding little what helen was passing on so she ended the reading after trying three times to explain ti a women what the cards where telling her , the woman was clueless so Helen felt it best to stop the reading , its not exact science and sometimes its bloody hard work.

I fended for myself with a microwavable chicken tikka curry tikka spring rolls and nan bread no pear cider

A AUTUMN SUNDAY

got up quite early it was half eleven when we went to bed last night we never made it to Middlesbrough as we have to make our money last she is appearing again on the 13th of December hopefully we will make that one.

went in to the city just after midday £1 parking for the day first and last bargain of the day  , we  bought some frankincense oil for the burner and a new rock salt candle light , we also went to the pound shop and bought some shampoo and after eight dinner mints .Didn't get to see the Christmas lights as it was still light , all the stores had the Christmas items for sale and had their in store gift magazines stacked up to entice shoppers for reading at home , roast chestnuts where on sale from the street vendors and we saw the Salvation army brass band but never heard them they were walking back to their cars with the trombones ,drums and trumpets etc , heard the first Christmas songs playing in the shop and no doubt the new this is Christmas album will be out which are the same fcuking songs as the previous ten albums.and i would  get Denim aftershave , Hi karate and Brut talc gift sets along with that years playboy calender , and the latest Bob Marley music cassette , chocolate orange   and Chinese puzzles.

On the way home we stopped of at the supermarket for our ready cooked chicken for our dinner we also bought some freshly baked just out of the oven tiger bread and some raspberry jam.

downloaded  the e-book "Men in green faces" by Gene Wentz as described in "No easy day" by Mark Owen also Arnold Schwarzenegger "Total recall my unbelievable true life" his new biography should make interesting reading .  getting my moneys worth from the Nexus couldn't read a normal book now as every E-book takes me further away from the paperback and hard back world of books , least it makes traveling on public transport that much more interesting.

My Daughter has lost her Internet connection so we have not been skyping each other recently she has posted numerous posts on face book so i know she is ok and staying out of trouble.

Well work again tomorrow at two another start of a week and a week nearer to Christmas as always i know we are going to get on the hop again we always do be nice to get some more lights and decorations for our home , need to get the pets their Christmas stockings sorted , think we will get button our rabbit plenty of treats , bless him or her not sure what we have, he must be male as he never moans.

Listening to -  "Mumford and sons"  both of their albums Babel and Sigh no more

Watching the new  - "Total Recall "

FFIF

Well its Friday night works finished until Monday afternoon two o clock .The Leeds Christmas lights are all on the city centre is  looking like a mini Vegas.
German Christmas market as opened its doors for another year wild boar burgers German sausage and steins of lager at hyped up prices .
Not sure what the weekend holds we was supposed to be going to Middlesbrough  on Sunday to see a psychic Deborah Chalmers show if funds allow Helen has had a few cancellations this week but has a party booked in for Saturday evening hopefully for four or more people.

2013

BORING WORK give me a job i love , a small apartment and enough food and i be happy blah blah blah.
give me no job ,a small apartment and enough food and a Internet connection and i be blissfully high.
or give me six little numbers so i could be happy and loads of other people would be happy too and then we would all be high together,

what makes me happy would be to debt free and  mortgage free ,bill free and have enough to eat each day no bills being pushed through the letter box would be a big plus  ,not having to go out out in the cold wind and snow no working for a pittance would be a bigger plus so i guess prison it is then lol.

Need new interest a hobby new places new items new clothes new authors new music new drinks different foods different perspectives maybe 2013 will be lucky for some i think we are due a good year think i am way over due a holiday , i need two weeks of chilling of blue seas and hot days and cold beers or in my case pear cider over ice, fingers crossed passport still in date .

LIGHTS PLEASE

Getting the staging ready to turn the Leeds lights on , i am not sure who is turning them this year  the last time i went to see the official turn on Mr Blobby was the star that got to flick the switch , that was  in 1994 my daughter was three my son would have been the ripe young age of one year old , scary how time goes by so fast and so quick  , plenty of changes and plenty of Christmases past , it makes me wonder how many more i will have where i get to see both my son and daughter together , i  be lucky i guess if i can count them on one hand .

Not sure if i have to go into work , if i do at least i will be in the car and i guess i will be starting at two in the afternoon , so least i get the first half of Christmas at home with Helen and the last couple of hours if i have to finish at ten .

Will have a turkey crown and all the trimmings hopefully plenty of ice cold  pear cider , coca cola and Jacks , Irish coffees made with Bushmill's Irish whiskey or Power's  , stollen and mince pies with brandy  , Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and dark rum  , and Christmas cake with marzipan and cheese , might even watch t.v Oliver and Wizard of Oz , one of  Helen's favorite films no doubt Die Hard will be on for me all in all Christmas as usual again.

The best christmas we have had in the last few years was the first year we got together we had just move din to the city apartment it was fun new and different and we had no christmas tree no trimmings and not one carol singer , but it was spot on we had only been living together for five days we had a lot to sort out , we are still sorting it out , but we are getting there and this will be our fifth christmas .

BONFIRE NIGHT

Yesterday

went into town Helen wanted to get a gillet from Fat Face and some socks went to local supermarket and bought part baked roast potatoes , parsnips , mash potato , sprouts , cabbage ,and pigs in blankets , and stuffing , peas and broccoli  also a ready cooked chicken , that's Sunday dinner sorted .had it with onion gravy and home made Yorkshire pudding.

Bonfire night its a English thing good old Guy Fawkes .
Went to my twin sisters house with Helen we have not been in touch for ages over a disagreement and seeing it was our birthdays last month we decided to move on and put our past troubles to bed , sometimes the longer issues go on the harder it is to forgive , and in the end life's too short not to get on , and not to be tolerant and not to hold grudges anymore , anyway we had a good night , we had pork pie and peas and a few pear ciders , there was loads of fireworks from us and  neighbours and plenty of Chinese lanterns in the night Sky's.

I want to buy  Pilot parallel pen and ink and start and learn calligraphy  its very relaxing and as we all can write why not learn to do it as a skill and a  art form in its own write  or right .

Helen got her Revelations Tarot cards from Iron Mountain in Michigan we had to pay £11.19p in import tax cards and book just short of £35 , they are buy Zach Wong and show  both correct way and upside down  pictures , they are very good for reading Helen loves them the design and art work fantastic , She has now over a dozen  different packs of tarot cards who knows in years to come she might get the chance to design her own deck of reversable cards.

And to cap it of i got my days holiday today was just as well as it was way after two when we got to sleep last night this morning.

Pumkins and chocolates

Phoned my solicitor I used for my divorce he sent me a letter telling me to pay his bill or I would be going to court for none payment oops, I have agreed to pay Him £30 a month he is sending me out a payment card or book , I should have paid it when I got my settlement from the sale of the house my x-wife and I jointly owned ,or when I got my redundancy money.

Nights for the next three shifts I have requested 5th of November off its our first year of being engaged and its bonfire night so there will be plenty of fireworks going off .

Freshly baked scones Helen made them earlier last night on Halloween after we had carved the two pumpkins we had bought , we also bought four bags  of chocolate bars and only had two kids knock on the door not complain lol.

well another day done and dusted i was up at 07.00 am i was on training again and went straight back to work until 22.00pm so its been a busy day,to cap it off the rest of the week i am working nights which i don't really want to do i have my nexus working of my iphone wifi hotspot some of the time depending on the connection obtainable.

only two more pay cheques before christmas we have a viewing on thursday which could result in a sale i guess , if it was to go through before christmas we could end up anywhere , it will be last minute.com.

The slippers are keeping my feet warm its like walking on sponge , i have not worn the dressing gown yet but seeing i am not at work until 19.30pm tomorrow i might try lounging around in it for most day ,will break it in some.

The vanilla coffee as lasted bought a caramel one today think i prefer the vanilla.
Ordered a usb case and  keyboard of Nexus of Ebay costing under £10  a stall holder selling a  bluetooth version in Meadow Hall Sheffield for £85 same one on ebay £22.

Heart goes out to all the good people of the U.S.A hope you all get back to normal asp , and your families and loved ones are all fine .

Longer ride

Sat in my freelander waiting for Helen ,its Sunny but cold I am using my I phone as a hot spot and its  working fine , technology is so impressive, I wish I was now leaving school and could get a career in I.T  or web design your office could be anywhere you choose and could be city or even world wide get your pay cheques through pay pal that would make traveling so much easier and fun .

Today we went shopping bought some slippers the first pair i have owned in at least the last twenty five years or so, they are so comfy and warm i also bought a fleece dressing gown as well its black and grey stripes with pockets got this in XXL just because can double wrap yourself in it for extra cosiness and warmth i also invested in a winters scarf that's extra long , not going to be cold this winter in our out , in bed or not in bed.

They have put on my bus route the long stretch bend in the middle buses with WiFi there is less seats than the double deckers they are now every seven minutes

EXTRA HOUR

Clocks went back by an hour Helen got up before me must only be the second time this year,
We went for breakfast  to the 11th Earl there where quite a few dinners already  there word must be catching on after eating we drove over to Sheffield to Meadow Hall i bought a jacket from Fat face for £85 and i could have made do with a large but i did end up getting a extra large just in case I needed to wear more layers.

Went to the Unicorn in Carlton for our dinner just after two  o clock we both had the  roast beef but we didn't over do it .

At seven o clock we was in the Marriot hotel in  Leeds city centre for a psychic demonstration by  Steve Holbrook he was very good and  he got loads of different messages for people in the audience and was spot on numerous times with dates names and reasons of death for those passed  and loads of different information , a few people that he singled out were moved to tears by what he was telling them about loved ones  passed.

We have another viewing for the sale of our house on Thursday still undecided as to what we are going to do .
Bought another  case with a  usb keyboard  for my Nexus tablet i use my i phone with its AYCE data allowance as a wifi hotspot the connection is good , makes working nights when i do them that bit more entertaining i refer to break times .

SATURDAY IN THE CITY

Well it’s the weekend yet again the weather is cold the temperature has dropped and the wind chill factor as increased and the gritters are out as snow beckons .I need  a new winter coat ,gloves and scarf I went in to Super-dry and tried on a Grey wool military type of coat it was very heavy it was also in the sale it was £85 i tried on a  XL And it was too small and they had  no XXL on the rail so I didn't bother , I am not obese or extremely fat I am 34+  inch waist and 44 inch chest , yes I could do with going to the gym exercising more and eating less to shed a few pounds ,but there is a lot more fatter obese men walking around in Leeds than me  , so how come I need a XXL. because Super dry is for little Japanese people who live of rice and sushi and seaweed Christ make sizes that are appropriate for western society it’s so fcuking annoying.

They have changed the parking meters in the city centre NCP now you have to put your car registration number into the machine this is then printed on to the ticket which you then display so no more giving your tickets to someone arriving as your leaving.

Helen got a new coat anyway and a hat gloves tights and leg warmers so she is nice and cosy when she ventures out next.

Helen has two readings today don't know what we are doing after her last one at seven o clock   whether we are going out to get some  food or eating what we have in and then watching a film or two before we put the electric blankets on and go to Bed.

BUSY

Well Helen's is going to be  busy all day ,i  dropped her of at her friends gym she is doing psychic readings from ten this morning till seven tonight not sure for how many , but thats the way to do it as we need the cash , because the cost of living is so fcuking high in the good old UK.

Got my birthday card from my daughter who is still  in New Zealand , thanks its nice getting cards two days running it extends my birthday by another day nice one.

After four days off its back to work its not bothering me having to go back to work have to go back one day so might as well be today and there's only three days to do and its the weekend .

we have a psychic show to go to this Sunday Steven Holbrook is at a hotel in Leeds city centre the Mariott might get into town in the afternoon have something to eat and drink before the show starts .

HAPPY RETURNS

Well i have been up just over a hour ,Helen is still in bed ,Pip the dog is still in bed but Harvey the cat is up and has been feed , i am on my second cup of vanilla coffee , and its dark and grey outside with a light rain its my birthday and i have no idea what i am doing , some people plan birthdays  ,as for  me it always seems to be just another day doing nothing much at least i am not at work .

My Daughter skyped me for half an hour which was especially nice and she is ok which is always good news , had a phone call from my son Guy only for him to then  drive over on his Bandit ,  i updated his tom tom sat nav for him hopefully its updated correctly with all the new roads and speed camera layouts , i should see more of him then i do , i need to make more of a effort and get over to see him specially when i have time of work.

Apple announced today  the release of the  i-pad mini i don't think i will buy one just  yet , as i  thought they would be around the £199 price range but they are dearer £269 which for the wifi 16 gb is not too extreme if i had not bought the nexus i would have more than likely paid the higher price and  got one but seeing i have only had it a few weeks i wont bother saying that i might get Helen one for christmas.

was toying with the idea of getting a play station three we hardly watch any television at all if we watch any movies its on dvd , so it be a change using the tv for something other than an ornament.

To everyone else worldwide if its your birthday today many happy returns hope its a good one .

ANOTHER YEAR PASSED

Its wet grey and coldish and i dont have to go to work its like a second bit of a weekend because i have tomorrow off as well its my birthday and i am getting older and want to do something amazing something that will leave me in a state of wonder going to work is pointless just to pay for bills i can buy everything i need but still need to work , way i see it if i lost my job i be homeless in a few months the house would be reposed so why not sell it get fifty grand or so and pack the job in then go traveling at the end of the trip sell the van rent a home and sign on the rock and roll until we get some sort of job.

Went to the post office to pick a parcel up for Helen three decks of Angel cards and a meditation cd Eddie Veeder into the wild sound track is still playing on the i-pod dock in the kitchen thats three days now its been playing through out the day from nine in the morning until one or two or whatever the time we decide to go to bed.

After going to four different supermarkets i finally found some Douwe Egbert's vanilla coffee it was worth the hunt its £2,99 for a small 50g jar but its worth it. Its my birthday tomorrow and another year older , i guess its either get old or die no alternative so i guess i will always settle for getting older by another year , i want to go see the new James Bond film Sky fall when its out on the 26th and Liam Nessom in Taken 2 its been eons since we went to the cinema.

Apple might announce the release of the i-pad mini tomorrow and if they do i might sell the Nexus and get one i have been toying with the idea of getting a new nano or a ps3 . Helen as a reading tonight and another one tomorrow , i have bought a sweet potatoe and i am going to chip it and fry it and have it with a mexican chicken dish we have in the fridge for tonight's supper. APACHE SUPERTRAMP

My Line manager text me to say i could have monday off as well as Tuesday now i need to decide what i want to do ,
Tonight Helen is doing four readings tonight on the other side of town i am in the house on my own , drinking coffee and dunking custard creams .

Today we looked at mobile homes for £50k which is a Auto Rail Apache  we'd be sorted that would buy the motor then it just how do we fund the cost of  traveling and eating etc once we have that sussed we are on to a winner without a doubt , buy a cheaper mobile home would be another solution but  the one we are looking at is brand new zero milage , the other way is to wait until the house price goes up , or chance it do a extra couple of lines on the lottery ,

INTO THE WILD AGAIN

Spoke with my daughter via skype this morning she wants to get another years visa for New Zealand ,her boss wants her to stay and continue working at the hair salon ,she needs to come home next year but is leaving it open for her to return and do another year which i think is the right choice to make. I which i had the opportunity to travel its ages since i have been to London my daughter suggested i go for a day trip near to christmas to see all the lights and decorations and take loads of photos of the landmarks that are so well known trouble is a day is not longer enough , and the cost for two of us would be around £180 just for the train fair be pointless traveling by coach.

Helen has watched "Into the Wild " for the third time in two weeks and is constantly listening to the sound track by Eddie Veeder , i am reading the book.

I will miss you too, but you are wrong if you think that the joy of life comes principally from the joy of human relationships. God's place is all around us, it is in everything and in anything we can experience. People just need to change the way they look at things, As quoted by Chris McCandless

DAYS OFF I HOPE

Sampled a new coffee by Douwe Egberts its a instant coffee and its vanilla flavor its £2.99 a jar , seeing i love white chocolate mocha with a vanilla shot its a godsend or will be when its available in the supermarkets. Booked next Tuesday off seeing thats its my birthday why i didn't book the Monday off as well i have no idea , i emailed my line manager today to see if i can also have the monday off waiting for a reply if i can then friday night i will break up. Helen had her hair done yesterday had some blonde highlights in the first step to going back blonde today she had her eyebrows done in hd suppose the next thing on the agenda will be the nails ,glad all i have to do is shave and gel the hair. Booked to go see two psychic mediums stand up shows one is a NHS worker who gave up a £55k salary to do psychic readings full time and Stephen Holbrook who we have seem numerous times he is appearing in Leeds the other a hundred miles or so away. well as always roll on pay day we have had no further house viewings so for now it looks like we are staying her another few weeks i guess we might see another christmas her after all , i would like to do something different for christmas seeing my daughter is in New Zealand , my son will be in York and one other sister who don't really give a shit anymore about what i do , or how i spend christmas and the way its going it wont ever change and they will be no way back.

UNICORN AGAIN

Got up later than we planned , we wanted to go out didn't have a clue where to go we headed to York but didn't stay long Helen bought me some coffee beans from Starbuck's they ground it for me love the smell of coffee grounds coming through the peculator. Headed back to Leeds and stopped at Carlton to the unicorn pub we had sunday dinner was spot on once again had a pint of cider ,we went home and watched films the rest of the evening watched "Into the wild" we watched it last Sunday also , its worth watching twice . Soon be Monday another weekend gone for good Christmas is coming its around the corner cant wait to see all the lights and christmas decorations in the all places we go to.

WEEKEND

Helen got up before me today one of the rare occasions its happened she had a coffee waiting and breakfast although she had not done the pots from the night before but cant expect two miracles in one day. Helen has another six readings to do tonight a few miles from home . so its going to be well after one when i pick her up so it will be bath watch a movie read some of my latest James Patterson novel second one this month reading it on the Nexus don't think i could read or buy another book as a paperback. We bought a rolled joint of pork with stuffing , cabbage and bacon with cheese sauce some small jacket potatoes with garlic butter and some mushrooms stuffed with stilton and leeks we ate this before Helen left to do her readings ,and now i have six hours to kill on a saturday night and not a bottle of pear cider in sight and no chocolate i have a tin of cream for my coffee thats it oh well aint complaining. Bought some more white optic lights suppose you could call them fairy lights we have had some on the fire place last couple of years they burnt out a few days ago we got some that flash on and off or just stay on there is more bulbs than before Helen strung them up they look good. Helen is thinking about getting me the new i-pod nano for my birthday in a few days time as its my birthday if she does i might get a decent pair of earphones or might get another dock ,saying that could do with some new aftershave and a new leather jacket want want want well until i got the things i desire which is not a long list. Not sure what we are doing tomorrow i know early evening we will be on the sofa watching a film and eating pop corn .

2ND OFFER

After watching the film "Into the Wild " which i was totally moved by not only the sad way he died but how he lived , he carried his world in a back pack and he was totally happy being skint and traveling across the country  he even gave his money away to Oxfam , i have found out since watching the film he could have crossed the river another quarter of a mile down stream , saying that he survived two years living on what he made alone the way doing and by doing different jobs when the need arose.......I suppose us selling the house and making a lump some of money should give us the ability to go anywhere and live , the one thing that  he (Alexander Supertramp) his alias didn't have was a vast array of bills and outgoings like a mortgage and insurances and the need for mobile phone and  bills for broad band cost and local taxes , tv license ,water rates electric and gas...Christ end of the day who is truly free not i.

Any way i have down loaded the book as the book which the film is based on is bound to be a more accurate description of events and and will cover more than the film showed .

I suppose buying a camper van and moving about would be a piece  of cake at the end of the day if he could have drove the bus away from its resting place he would not have died.

We have received another offer on our house she has upped it from £135k to £141k we have also rejected this new offer we want £148k

Waiting for tea to finish cooking its half an hour to midnight we are having bubble and squeak with chicken in a mushroom sauce with petits pois leeks and pancetta as  i am Hank Marvin once more i am droolling typing this .

LAST ORDERS

Totally knackered need to go to bed its just before midnight and i have to be up early in the morning they are coming to replace our gas meter and as i cant see Helen getting her arse out of bed ,they are coming between eight and one in the afternoon and i can guess what end of the clock they will be at our house for  , and i know there is nil chance of Helen getting out of bed as she never gets up before me on a late sleep in   never mind a early morning its down to me , it was after one when he got here he was running  late.
It was Helen's father birthday today we got him some Fat Face toiletries body wash and sprays etc s and a Gillette power glide shaver along with some shaving gel, he was impressed with the razor and i don't think he has ever had a battery operated wet razor before , but i bet he does not go back to his orange Bic razors or to his shaving soap and brush.again .

CROSS ON A SATURDAY NIGHT

Woke up totally knackered it was way after two am when we went to sleep , we went to the pet shop to look at birds to replace the budgies that died on us a month or so ago We looked at a cockateel and a parakeet told Helen to think about , Fish will be a lot better we was looking at neons that look good at night with a blue light for the tank they are a lot more peaceful and calming and tranquil .saying that it was way after one so we went to another fish shop and got one with chips and two bread cakes with scraps and ate them in the car they stopped swimming a while ago their last dip was in batter and then red hot beef dripping .
Helen has five readings to do tonight i dropped her off at seven,i came home and cooked a spicy chicken  pizza .i then chilled out in a red hot bath if that is possible , chilled on Tumblr i down loaded some more photos and clocked watch ,i put some more films on to the Nexus "Brake" and "Into The Wild" .,read some more of the James Patterson novel  "Cross",if that aint living it up on a Saturday night then i don't know what is .

TINY VAN BIGGER DREAMS

The VW Camper van came and is now parked next to my ivory buddha he's too fat and big  to fit in the van.
All i need now is to win the lottery and be the real deal , be off each weekend could cover miles and every part of the U.K .stocked up with tins of curry and nan breads and pear cider be careful not to drink and drive. Who knows got to have dreams and something to believe in or there would be little point the van my be tiny but my dreams are very much on a bigger scale .

BLAH BLAH BLAH

The woman who came to view the house was a psychic and her daughter also practices  reiki too as they say small world seven times removed all that crap. Its quite sunny today the sun was coming in through the bedroom window and the sky was blue i am suppose to be putting the fence back up this weekend which blew down ages ago , its all in the garage waiting for my incentive and innovative to do it suppose i will have to get my arse in gear and do it , it always the same just starting it and buying the materials , hopefully it will piss it down i mean it will be sunny and fine lol.

Started using my Nexus as a e-reader to say a kindle cost over a £100 this is much better and makes reading a joy at night especially , the Nexus has a few faults but you do get what you pay for and in most areas its fine the battery is excellent and the screen good enough would be nice to compare it to the kindle fire when that comes out and to the windows tablets when they are released , thought the memory size might be a issue but its fine , i have four films loaded , eight albums , and five books all by James Patterson and i still have 9gb of memory left plus a couple of games and other apps i have downloaded , so anyone thinking of getting one i would say yes go for it but do remember its not a ipad and does not pretend to be one i will  still get a ipad as and when i can afford one ,Might get Helen one for xmas.

GLOWING IN THE DARK

The electirc kettle packed in a while ago must be nearly a month maybe longer we have a one for the range master that whistles when it boils , you pull the whistle flap up when you pour the water , i boiled it earlier and forgot to put the whistle down there fore it did not whistle and could of boiled dry , i did this when i was a lot younger i am guessing fourteen or so i was  living with my parents i totally forgot i smelt the paint on the kettle burning i opened the kitchen door it was late at night my parents were in bed i was watching a late night film  the kettle was glowing red least the coffee was hot that night how my dad  laughed the next morning when he got up ready for a cuppa  i was still in bed cant remember what excuse i used to get out of that one.

GOOD IN BLACK

Spoke with my daughter on skype for a good hour this morning she's good has been up a volcano , the weather where she is , is getting hotter.i am getting  knackered need to go to bed its a struggle to focus my eyes and they are getting tired , Helen is tired as well she did another two readings tonight , be nice to have a weekend away just to read a book take in some sights and relax in a retreat in the countryside in a log cabin , burn some logs see the stars at night and do nothing listen to some new tunes and take new photos. Need a holiday i can honestly say that i  don't know what its like to relax and chill its been so long that i have had a break , my ten year passport runs out soon and i have only been to one country so sad i know .The Nexus is good and i have figured out most things i had a problem getting books on but silly me just downloaded the kindle app , need a app putting on for the camera too , anyway the battery , sound and picture quality is excellent and so far i cant really knock it , i reckon for the money you cant fault it except its not a Apple.

Monday, October 01, 2012

Was up at quarter to seven was knackered from the weekend and from losing a nights sleep Friday, i guess losing sleep is a bonus who wants to sleep when you can be doing better things than dreaming.
Second session on training so far we have not really learned anything everybody has such diverse roles its not clear how some of it fits in to what my role is and there is a hundred percent pass rate which sounds alarm bells for me or highlights if you attend each session you will pass the course.

GONE IN A FLASH

MONDAY -Two days at work then I have eight days off annual leave and I cant wait if Helen's Father was any worse I would be having thes...
