LIGHTS PLEASE

Getting the staging ready to turn the Leeds lights on , i am not sure who is turning them this year  the last time i went to see the official turn on Mr Blobby was the star that got to flick the switch , that was  in 1994 my daughter was three my son would have been the ripe young age of one year old , scary how time goes by so fast and so quick  , plenty of changes and plenty of Christmases past , it makes me wonder how many more i will have where i get to see both my son and daughter together , i  be lucky i guess if i can count them on one hand .

Not sure if i have to go into work , if i do at least i will be in the car and i guess i will be starting at two in the afternoon , so least i get the first half of Christmas at home with Helen and the last couple of hours if i have to finish at ten .

Will have a turkey crown and all the trimmings hopefully plenty of ice cold  pear cider , coca cola and Jacks , Irish coffees made with Bushmill's Irish whiskey or Power's  , stollen and mince pies with brandy  , Christmas pudding with brandy sauce and dark rum  , and Christmas cake with marzipan and cheese , might even watch t.v Oliver and Wizard of Oz , one of  Helen's favorite films no doubt Die Hard will be on for me all in all Christmas as usual again.

The best christmas we have had in the last few years was the first year we got together we had just move din to the city apartment it was fun new and different and we had no christmas tree no trimmings and not one carol singer , but it was spot on we had only been living together for five days we had a lot to sort out , we are still sorting it out , but we are getting there and this will be our fifth christmas .
