STEW , FISH N CHIPS ,PIE & CUSTARD

 SATURDAY - Went to bed at half five the bed indeed got fixed yesterday a new control box and two new motors the bed is rising and falling as it should . I 

was up at half nine took the dogs out .Loaded the slow cooker with braising steak and veg for another stew also doing dumplings and pancakes .

Took Helen over to Idle Bradford she had readings to do I had a four plus hour wait in the car .She finished just after ten and was given a Dominos pizza box with different slices of pizza contained inside .The stew in the slow cooker will have to wait . 

SUNDAY - Had the stew my dumplings are getting better not sure why but the last two attempts have been really good my mix is the same it comes in packets for 50p I use two then add 150ml of cold water add a little salt and pepper ,  and mix.

Went to pick Helen's mother up from Acaster then took her to York Hospital grabbed a wheel chair and made the walk to A&E a few hundred yards away . Her father was still on LEOU but was in a small room no windows no t.y very basic seen prison cells with more stuff in them a medical staff had to show us where he was we all entered the room . A good  half hour later we was told he had covid  visit over we left all annoyed he mother is 82 why did no one tell us to mask up or given us the choice if we wanted to visit or not . Helen is still having covid issues she take every precaution it avoid getting the virus we washed and put gel our hands and left .

We went to Wetherby Whaler when asked if we had any known  allergies , we said under our breaths no but we all have covid..

Bought some mince pies to go with the custard I had in the fridge I know why too early I wanted Jam roly  poly  but the garage did not have any the only alternative was the Christmas mince pies
