We went to bed last night at half past nine and it was still light, we just went to bed to sleep nothing else , mores the pity i woke at half past eight didn’t feel that much better for all them extra hours sleep.
Although the weather was not brilliant we went to the Moors, we got there and had a hot oxo drink and a four finger kit- kat from the beverage van that is usually parked up in the car park, this was before we started out walking around the reservoir, the mist and low clouds that had appeared on the drive down was still about but so far it had not rained.
It took us a good hour and half to walk round and get back to the car the last five minutes it started to rain we did get wet but not that bad , soggy yes but drenched no and Pip was ok she was in and out of the puddles all way round the walk anyway and does not mind getting wet ,we went back to the beverage van and got a cheese burger with onions before setting of back home. Once home the sun came out typical .
Helen attacked her drawers and started binning all the old clothes she does not wear i did some of mine and threw out old jeans and trousers i have had ages but never wear , the ones you buy because there in a sale and you get them home and wondered what possed you in the first place to buy them.
She that is Helen lounged in the bath whilst i that is me cooked tea , which was chicken pies one each and mashed potatoes with butter and milk and pepper , and baked beans plus gravy.
Weekend nearly over Helen up at half five another week rollin bye .
I Didn’t get to the movies , I didn’t get to the restaurant , and I didn’t win the lottery although we had two tickets for the Euro on Friday and five for the UK lottery on Saturday , We plus five the Saturday tickets another five chances of winning a top prize of £250,000.
