Happy Birthday Helen which was yesterday i hope you had a great day you are now a big 40 you are still are very much an ANGEL , and you will always be loved by me what ever age you are because my love for you is timeless xxxx.

Helen bought me TomTom one for Christmas so we will never get lost again or go down any roads that we don't want to travel .

The bed we ordered from Argos arrived today its for the spare room. My Son Guy has been sleeping on the floor for the last three times that he has slept over, i will assemble it tonight when i get home and get it made up ready for his next visit.

I have new years day of and the following day too so i break up again Thursday yippee
We have just spent our second Christmas together and will be seeing the start of a new year for the second time , there is no other woman i would rather be with.... she truly rocks my world in this concert called life and i cant thank her enough for her being the remarkable woman that she is.... i couldn't or wouldn't have got this far without her.

We don't yet have a Internet connection at the new house yet so i might not be able to update as often as i would like, what i am going to do is keep a pen written diary again and put it all down on paper like i did in the old days before this blog , we are looking at getting sky in the next few weeks and i will use others computers when i can to keep this up and running.
Washing machine and dishwasher both in black to mach the fridge freezer , microwave etc in need of plumbing in hopefully very soon .
Old fire place number two which is going to be the kitchen dinner one day we want to open up the chimney breast and put a gas range in there

The table clothe hides the fact this is the table that we is what we had in the garden on the patio at least its hard wood and does us fine for now their is a hole in the centre for the umbrella

never had a tv so big will have to get a x-box sorted out or a PlayStation will ask my son to bring his next time he stays

Stairway to heaven we are thinking of opening the banisters up and fitting new spindles in time which we will paint cream

The Grandfather clock we won off Ebay at travelled down to Essex for we can hear it chime when we are in bed , it looks well in our hall way

With the microwave and two ring hob we wont starve we also have an electric deep fat fryer and a slow cooker we wont ever starve

Brand new bed and mattress with double electric blanket fitted due to having no central heating and only secondary double glazing

The lamp in the corner is one Helen had over at her old house she has been wanting to take it for ages , and finally got it she walked from the Whiterose Centre and struggled to get it home, it and it meant a lot to her so i was pleased to see it in our new home.

The black fridge freezer we have a black dishwasher and a black washing machine we need a wall taking out to open both rooms in to one and make a kitchen dinner

New plasma tv actually watched a bit of telly over the festive period and i have Cold Feet on DVD which i started to watch

The old fire place which at night when its dark and the room is lighted by candles it doesn't look that bad . Everything in this house is ours and we will add to it as the months roll bye .

We have moved everything out of the house we were renting and informed the landlord he has a vacant property .He was not expecting it i though someone would have seen us move over the last few days we have been back a few times to get all our stuff out and telephoned him but no one did . He has all the rent owing our lease was up at the beginning of February was our last month so he has not lost out he has a months rent as a bond which he will keep

Our new house is pretty much in order and not lots of stuff is in boxes its all more or less unpacked and in it place .We bought a new microwave and kettle in black.

My Son Guy stayed over one night already we have ordered a new bed and mattress for the spare room mainly for him to sleep on but it wont be delivered until the 29th of December

The living room looks great with the Christmas decorations settees and plasma TV and new curtains Helen as really worked hard and ha the interior of the house looking like its been done by a interior designer

Went to the works do last night at the Royal Armouries had lovely food apart from raw vegetables the mushroom soup to start was thick and creamy i had two bowls the desert was cheese cake which was very filling i was drinking snakebites and Helen peach schnapps even danced although i was not that drunk got home just after two o clock .

Friday, December 19, 2008

The house is looking great we now have food in our freezer and milk in the fridge and clothes in our wardrobes. We have candle sticks and candles in every room and ornaments throughout the house the spare bedroom is in a bit of a tip but apart from that everything is cosy.
Helen as worked hard and its been two three o'clock in the morning when we have finally got to bed.

The fish have been collected from our rented house along with the rabbit we have all our garden furniture apart from the umbrella for the patio table , most of the plants that we put in buckets a few weeks a go have gone to our new home.
The kitchen is all sorted and looks fine we are using the teak hard wood patio furniture as a dining table and chairs and with a table cloth on top looks fine.
I need to easy two doors one on the side and one is catching on the bottom and we need to buy new keys for all the doors.

we have set up the hifi and pc although we don't have a Internet connection at the moment we will have to look in to a new isp.
i start a new job in the new year with a local college i don't know how i will be fixed for using the Internet to update my blog , i might have to go off line for a while.

This time last year we was living out off suitcases , living in Travel Lodge hotel and eating out at a kebab house under the dark arches near to the railway station.
We have done immense things in the space of twelve months and one thing that i knew then and that i know now is that i cant life without Helen , she is my world i love , adore and cherish her and she has made my dreams come true and , what was a fantasy six years ago , she as turned in to reality, i honestly say that i cant live life without her so , thanks to a ANGEL.....

Helen as been working really hard to them in through the doors and in to the living room both the three and two seat settee's , did which was a great relief i could her detect Helen's tension in her voice when she phoned to tell me that the delivery van had arrived with them we had to cancel Monday's delivery , and the relief in her voice when she phoned to say they had got them both in place and unpacked.
Picked the Samsung 42" plasma TV up at diner time from Comet and got that unpacked tuned in and working along with the free view channels .
Took delivery of the dryer, washing machine , fridge freezer and tumble dryer which lives in the cellar with the chest freezer .Helen and i went out to Tesco and bought a black microwave oven another essential piece of kit and some frozen meals beef stew and dumplings and some lasagne's to put us on .
We have the Christmas tree up in the bay window like we planned on and it looks great couldn't wish for a better looking tree its perfect and definitely makes up for the lack of decorations we had last year.

Wednesday, December 17, 2008

What a day yesterday we got the keys and went to the house , no electric had to phone the electric suppliers the main fuse had blown when the electric supply was switched off we got to the house an hour before sunset. We moved quite a bit off stuff with the land rover until my sister bought a van from work to move the rest off the stuff it was a big help, to say we only had candle light and torch light to guide us . All i need to move form the rented house now is a 15 inch panel TV , hi-fi , large TV , my PC, clothes, a book case , drawers and some tools .The Electrician came and sorted the electric supply out and got the power back on .The last thing we went back for and moved to the new house was Ellie our Westie.

Tuesday, December 16, 2008

We never moved in to our new house yesterday the money was still not transferred and we are now looking at completing today. As i type this we are waiting for the money to go into Helen's account then to our solicitors account then for him to put the cash in to the sellers account so we can collect the keys and move. The sofas and the rest of the appliances are coming Wednesday .
hooray we have now had a phone call and we can go pick the keys up from the estate agents the house is now ours we are the new legal owners .

Monday, December 15, 2008

The house should complete today the wire transfer for the money was left too late and the money never went in to Helen's bank in time last Friday , but hopefully fingers crossed it will all be finalised today .Everything all our worldly goods are in boxes and blue Ikea bags ready to move,we have two new sofas coming sometime today later the better and a fridge freezer , dishwasher , washer and dryer should be coming mid week .

Friday, December 12, 2008

This is what we have been working hard to obtain over the last few months we first saw the house on the 1st of October. All the subsequent forms running around chasing up we had to do to get us the mortgage to get us keys and get us through the door of our new home. Will have been worth it .
Hopefully by the end of today we will be the new legal owners .
Helen wants to take the vacum and cleaning stuff around when we go and pick the keys up from the estate agents so before anything we can give it a dust clean and vac , i don't think we will start moving our belongings in until tomorrow. But if i have to return to the house we are moving from go to back to our new house and home then why leave with a empty car no doubt we can out in a few boxes odds and sods .

Have tonight off work and also Saturday but i am working on Sunday and yet i wont mind one bit , we have a house of our own and there is bills to pay and things to buy. I want Helen and me to have a great house with nice furniture and pleasant decorations and ornaments, flowers, plants, and art to decorate our home top to bottom and to eventually get a house better than what we both walked out of to be together around this time last year.

Thursday, December 11, 2008

No news is good news and hopefully the good news will be we can start to move our things and belongings this coming Saturday. We will be going to the ATM tonight with Helen at midnight to see if the deposit as been made in to her bank account if there is then its one less obstacle. We should be able to complete the buying of our house.

Half past three today i got a phone call from our solicitor saying the mortgage money as been released by the building society and is now in place to pay for the house all £103,500 of it or there about we now are even more on target to get moved in this weekend fingers still crossed .

Went home at four i have got the next two nights off work from my second job at the Hospital.

Helen was out went down to the canal walked a mile or so saw a few barges and narrow boats moored up there was ice in parts , and two swans swimming under a bridge, I went for half a cider at The Owl at Rodley got a text from Helen asking to pick her up.
Went over to her parents house after leaving there we went to Farsley for a take away pizza. Her parents called later and we started filling empty boxes with our belongings ready for the move .

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

We are both hoping that Friday is the day the house goes through and we can get the keys and get sorted out and start to move into our new home at long last .Both solicitors are working to Fridays deadline

D.F.S have not yet phoned with delivery dates for the sofas they was suppose to call back on Monday this week to arrange a date and time for delivery they have given us a window of two days Helen was going to ignore their call but so far they have not rung her , obviously we want them to get delivered to the new house but cant if we don't have the keys.

The House i used to live in with my ex has had estate agents round to view it and value its going on the market the first valuation has come in at £125,000 there is another two coming over the next few days hopefully it be nice to put it on the market for £130,000 the extra 5k would pay estate agents and solicitor fees which would leave around 50k to split between us .

Tuesday, December 09, 2008

We need boxes, we need to start to pack ,we need to know when we are going to get the keys to the new house and home,we need to get organised there is 101 things to do hopefully 99 of them will be straight forward and only a couple of little obstacles along the way which wont be anything major. The copy of the condition of probate as landed at the solicitors finally after waiting a good fortnight and seeing both solicitors are based in Leeds , a tortoise could have made the trip with this important piece of paperwork and got it there quicker , anyway fingers crossed we should be signed ,sealed and delivered for this Friday .

We have been living in rented accommodation since the 21st December last year both Helen and myself had joint mortgages but in less than a space of one year we are hopefully within the next few days back on the property ladder i still believe every body no matter what their circumstances or income should be some how be able to buy affordable housing on an affordable mortgage scheme i think this is a basic human right no body should be forced into renting they should be able at some stage own there own house if they so wish to. to be able decorate it alter it and garden it the way they want to , with out the restrictions imposed by a landlord.

Bought of eBay the other day an electrical hot plate two hob cooker unit to sit on top of the kitchen worktop in our new home , we need this and its is going to put us on and do all our frying breakfast and teas and stir Fry's and should have no trouble cooking our fry ups on this . At least until we can get the kitchen sorted out and get something better in its place , we are after buying a range once we have a date that we can move and get the keys ( hopefully this Friday ) we can have items delivered , another thing we need and will have to go out and buy when we do get moved in is a microwave , at least with this combination plus a kettle we wont ever starve the is also plenty of take aways within walking distance. Life for a while will be different but it will be fun and we will be happy and contented and what we need we will eventually get .

SATURDAY
Went to work finished at one o clock we took Guy home later in the afternoon he had stayed Friday night.
We drove over back to where we lived and bought a couple of fish and bread cakes we then we picked two friends up Linda and Dave and set off to Lincoln, we was going to visit the Christmas market which part of it is held in the castle grounds. We missed the turn off so came of the motorway at Grantham then backed tracked to Lincoln going through all the little villages on route we then got to Lincoln and followed the park and ride signs to park up we finally got to the market just after seven. Hot Mulled wine and a chili burger with cheese i bought from one of the vendors inside the castle grounds mainly to warm me up as it was quite cold.

I bought the stone head pictured above for £6.00 its the size of half a football and its going to be called Ted after my late father , to go with Ethel the Gargoyle which represents my mother. Helen bought a hurricane lamp and some circular mirrors to go in the garden all in all it was a good atmosphere the market closed at half nine and we went back for the bus to take us back to the park and ride .

SUNDAY

Woke up and the sun was shining, decided to go over to York and visit there Christmas market .
Stopped at the red Bus cafe on the A64 had a full English breakfast sitting on the top deck got to say it was one of the nicest breakfast that i have had for a while it was spot on as Helen says.
also used the park and ride and got in to York city centre just after one o clock bought some Christmas rum truffles and had tea and coffee at the Earl Grey Tea Room, bought a calender a Christmas angel and tea lights one of a Santa and one of a snow covered cottage.
It was very similar to Lincoln most of the shambles had Christmas trees jutting out from the walls on brackets at a angle which where all light up once it got dark both cathedrals are very similar got to say Lincolns market is one of the biggest markets in England and cannot be compared to York's in anyway shape or form.

MONDAY
Went to the Doctors with Helen to discuss our options regarding having a child and what is available for us to choose from regarding reversal or ivf treatment cost and time scales and guarantee's if any .
Went to the solicitors and signed all the paperwork regarding the buying of the house to get us back on the property market again , it should complete this Friday fingers crossed if not early next week twenty years time and we will be mortgage free it will fly by all i know is a lot is going to happen in the next few months what twenty years is going to bring i cant predict as long as it joy and happiness i wont complain.

Friday, December 05, 2008

Finished work picked Helen up from her mothers house still ice and snow about but nothing too bad.

Went to Pudsey Owlcoates and called in to Marks and Spencer's just to browse .Afterwards went to Pudsey town street and bought fish and chips from the Wetherby Whaler ate them in the car then then went home.

It was my Mothers birthday yesterday had see still been alive she would have been 87 years old so we decided to do the Ouija board in her honour at around midnight last night and got some interesting questions answered concern us buying the house also to do around love and emotions and new beginnings and babies once against the board spelt out answers to questions Helen did not know the answers to and the board was correct on numerous occasions.

Thursday, December 04, 2008

Found out to day that my ex wife to be has missed the last two mortgage payments , as a result she has decided it is unrealistic that she can afford to live there and to put the house on the market and sell it for as much as we can .
Today had an appointment with my solicitor which was pre-booked last week and told him what has just occurred.
We have a pre court hearing on the 12th of Jan 2009 to discuss the finer points of the divorce like who gets what.
I don't know what back lash is going to come from my two kids my son is sixteen in January and my daughter eighteen in January my son would be more than welcome to live with us if he wished to.
All i want now is for everything to be finalised done and dusted my solicitor himself said our divorce should have been straight forward but thanks to my wife actions it has dragged out over a year .
four days running we have now had snow , i do hope its a white Christmas going to Lincoln this Saturday to the visiting the Christmas market .

Wednesday, December 03, 2008

Three days in to December and we have seen snow on each day so far and it looks like we can expect more snow during tonight .

Tuesday, December 02, 2008

If Helen wants her sterilization operation reversing and her clips removing we will have to pay to go private , the NHS who performed the operation FREE OF CHARGE to sterilize her wont reverse it , its seems so wrong that this country of ours will help you terminate a child more easily then the help you to create one.Helen works and pays her national insurance i work two jobs and pay national insurance and taxes on both incomes and to cap it all we both work for the NHS.

We see people in Hospital from drug over dose and abuse other people receiving treatment for liver damage from years of excessive drinking , from the effects of smoking and at this time of year in particular injury's and deaths from drink driving they all get operations and nursing that they need , which i agree that they should too they still all deserve care and a bed and any operation medication and a full nursing staff to help them live because all live is precious and because hopefully they too at some stage have paid there national insurance contributions so then why does this rule not apply to us.

Monday, December 01, 2008

Worked Saturday finished at three o clock went to crown point looked at electrical appliances washer dryers fridge freezers and gas range cookers the V.A.T dropping to 15% will make a small difference in price and we are buying because we need the said items not to save on the vat.
SUNDAY
Went to work we both worked until three o clock we got home made a coffee and went to bed for a couple of hours.
Got up showered and changed and picked Helen's parents up and we went to the Kings Chinese Restaurant Driglington , where we had a set meal for four people usual starters Helen had chicken and sweet corn soup i opted for the shredded duck soup, which was followed by spare ribs, prawn toast, spring rolls, and shredded seaweed .Main dishes included duck in plume sauce , king prawns with cashew nuts, chicken with honey and lemon sauce and pork with oriental vegetables with a large dish of special fried rice.Drove over to the Whiteheouse at Oakwood for drinks which has got to be on of the nicest pubs both in its exterior and interior in Leeds.
MONDAY
Made an appointment with the solicitor for Thursday lunch and paid the ex wife the money towards the mortgage and it snowed the 1st of December and it snowed i do hope we are going to have a white Christmas.

Friday, November 28, 2008

We went to the Doctors this morning and saw a lady doctor she is written to make an appointment to see a gynecologist so that they can explain the risk the success rates and all the other factors involved about a reversal operation to unclip Helen's tubes once we have all the information we then can make an appointment for the operation to take place . Also to day we got the delivery date for the sofas that have been ordered they are coming week commencing the 8th of December both a two and three seater. We are going to have a busy run up to Christmas and a hectic new year we are both over then moon and both of us want or life's sorted out and back on track asp , to say Helen first lived with me or moved in with me was only the 18th of December last year when we was booked in at the travel lodge hotel for three days before we got the keys to our apartment at Clarence Road dock on the 21st of December and got moved in for our first Christmas together.

Wednesday, November 26, 2008

Helen and i have in the past discussed about the joys of having a baby especially a girl , she had her tubes clipped to prevent pregnancy a over ten years ago. we have made an appointment so we can to discuss it with her Doctor about a reversal operation and the chance of her than conceiving , we also need to know what the risk would be to her if she did get pregnant.
The probate has now been completed and the money from Helen's divorce should be arriving in the next week or two we should be able to complete and exchange contracts before Christmas and move in .

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

Bought first Christmas presents today went in to town at lunch and made a start buying two items obviously i cant list them here i don't know how regular or if Helen still reads my blog so just incase. Its also Helens birthday on the 28th of December so will have to think what to get her for her birthday as well as Christmas .
MONDAY - took the morning off work Guy had slept over went to work at dinner time Helen looked after Guy at tea time she took him in to Leeds to Burger king , and the German Christmas Market Helen bought me a stollen slice yum yum , they then came over to where i work at the Hospital and waited for me to finish my shift at half past eight .

TUESDAY - The house is still going through the gentleman who owned it has gone into a rest home and has since died R.I.P , his son is selling the house to us and has power of attorney we have to wait now for a Grant of Probate which will add a few weeks before we can exchange contracts , Which our solicitors now have .

Sunday, November 23, 2008

Saturday worked from seven in the morning until three in the afternoon got back to the car and i recieved a parking ticket for £15.00 the first one i ever had so i cant really moan , after work we went to B&Q bought nine black builders buckets ninety nine pence each to transport plants we have planted here to our new home when we move there in a few weeks time. Went over to Castleford to the New Wheatsheaf Restaurant and pub had two really good meals you can choose from the pub menu , the carvery menu or al la- carte menu. We had beef and tomatoe soup to start followed by for Helen Lasagna and chips , the side salad and other veggies you help your self from the carvery i had a lamb shank with chips, mash, parsnips, and roast potatoes also taken from the carvery all in all it was good value and as always it was great to be out with Helen .

SUNDAY
Did not work dropped Helen off then went home called in at Asda at Owlcoates which is the first place i ever meet Helen outside off work , bought some braising steak and giant Yorkshire puddings for tea along with other bits and pieces.
Picked my son Guy up he was staying the night and had him with us for a few hours before bedtime.

Friday, November 21, 2008

Friday - i went back in to town at dinner time and had my ear re pierced a lot higher up, it didn't bleed as much as the one i had done the other day but hurt twice as much.I also had a new ring put in the old one i had was totally unsuitable and should have never been used in the new piercing so hopefully the new old hole should heal up and leave little or no trace and the new new hole should be infection free and cause no trouble if that makes sense .

Helen is a Angel i cant describe her as anything else apart from adorable, lovable, cute, pretty, beautiful, and sexy and the one woman that means the world to me.

So i cant wait until we move in to our new home and we can put down roots and build a home that we will both love to be in regardless of other people , hopefully it will be our haven and a bit of heaven where i know that i am guaranteed of at least of one angel always being present and close to me.
Burst water main yesterday shut down work and we was allowed to go home at twelve o clock due to the fact we had no running water to any part of the building . So it was a case of shut up shop and sod off what a nice surprise.

Went home to pick up Helen and we went in to town i am now considering a new tattoo i have always wanted a Celtic arm band, and i am now seriously looking at designs after 20 Min's everyone starts to look the same as the last i also visited a local tattooist to check out designs and his studio.

Went to the Wetherby Whaler fish restaurant in Pudsey for a early tea late lunch then headed home still had my evening shift at the hospital to do which is from 4.30 pm - 8.30 pm.

After work picked Helen up and went over to Flockton to visit Sharon stayed a good couple of hours before we went back home another early morning before we got to bed.

Think i might have to get my ear re done it could do with moving up which i did request when i went for it doing , but was told it would be better nearer to the middle rather than the top of the ear, so i agreed and went with the decision i was given but have since decided i should have had it where i wanted will have to wait a day or two before i can have it done again.

Wednesday, November 19, 2008

This dinner time went into town and had my ear re pierced i have had the original piercing done in my left ear well over twenty years ago when i was working away as a shop fitter doing kitchen displays for M.F.I . in London . I had it pierced in the lobe at the bottom of the ear the new one is higher up in the middle region i have used my original ear ring and had no wish to have a stud put in , it only cost a fiver i think i paid a similar price when i first had it done all them years ago which included the cost of the stud .

Tuesday, November 18, 2008

Got up this morning just after seven , Ellie our westie was in her bed but got up to say good morning to me then climbed back in to her bed to go back to sleep she seemed OK apart from being tired .

Picked Helen up at dinner time she had received a phone call from our solicitor requesting that she called in to his office to sign paperwork at paper a write a cheque for a court fee to release the money from the pay off she is receiving from he ex for her share of the house that she jointly owned .

The sale of the house is going through we are ready to sign the contract but we ant exchange until we receive Helen's share of the equity from her house which is being used to pay our 10% deposit.

Finished work early went home for tea at around seven then we went to Tesco bought some v-necked jumpers seeing has i don't own any and its nearly winter and the temperatures are supposed to be dropping sharply.

Ellie is fine and acting normal her stitches so far have not bothered her and there has been no side effects from her operation she goes back to the vets for a check up on Thursday

Monday, November 17, 2008

Dropped Ellie off at the Vets this morning with Helen before i went to work , she is getting spayed today at a cost of £110 hopefully the operation will go without a hitch. To get Bobby the cat spayed the cost is only £46 i don't know why the big difference in price for a cat and dog but we should have told them Ellie was a cat with a sore throat hence the growl, picking her back up at around four o clock.

When we returned at four Ellie looked totally feed up and drowsy effects of the anaesthetic and painkillers she had some scrambled eggs for her tea and later on some chicken and rice we put her bed at the side of ours but later on during the night at around three o'clock Helen took her back to the kitchen where she normally sleeps she wasn't settling in unfamiliar surroundings.

Helen did a wicked bread and butter pudding to go with a chicken dinner that she cooked for tea when i got in home from work at the Hospital at supper time .

Saturday, November 15, 2008

No work this weekend for Helen or me ,Saturday morning went up to my old house collected my tool chest and some more of my joinery tools and my power washer which i have only used once along with a few more reading books , saw Guy said we asked him to stay and arranged to pick him up later after loading the car with goodies , we went back over to Bramley and Picked Helen's mother up and went over to Aberford interiors and then drove over to Country Baskets bought some more Christmas decorations and a large glass and wood hurricane lamb.

Friday, November 14, 2008

Finished work last night at eight thirty got fish and chips for tea on the way home Helen had made a home made rice pudding first time i have eaten rice pudding with out opening a tin and emptying it in to a saucepan.

I don't know at what stage we will start packing . we will have to buy bits and pieces and will need lots more candles and candle sticks and various oil and incense burners and other artifacts and decorative items both oriental , ancient as well as shabby chic items .

we will need a lot more wooden photo frames of different sizes for a selection of sepia and black and white photos of us and other family members some that lived in a different era which we will have scattered throughout the house on various walls shelves i would one of me and Helen for over the mantle piece or wall opposite we will also have hallways and landings to decorate.

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

Back at work back working at both jobs after my two days of sickness it did seem a really long day, when i finished at half eight i picked Helen up from her parents house, and we called in at Tesco . Bought another two bags of scampi which was still on offer , along with two packets of sausages they too was still on offer and a large family sausage and onion pie which was reduced in price a large bag potatoe croquettes and a dozen frozen Yorkshire puddings which was our tea sorted.
Got home at around nine thirty we had a letter from the Leeds Building society with written confirmation of the mortgage offer and we can now go ahead and buy the house there is no condition attachedto the mortgage concerning the wall ties and damp proof course. We can now instruct our solicitors to go ahead with the purchase of the house ASP and it is now looking more than likely that we will be moving in well before Christmas which as always been oor aim.

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

Still poorly with cold and sore throat it gets worse as the day goes on,had a phone call this morning from Gil our lady that is arranging or mortgage it is confirmed that we do have the mortgage its all going through we will have written confirmation in the post over the next few days .
So we have done what we set out to do and can now buy our house and hopefully it will be ready and completed to move in before Christmas touching wood.

Helen went to her solicitors to sign her decree nissi her absolute should be around February time next year.
Her Husband solicitor has told him not to transfer any money to Helen before its all final. If this is the case we wont have the deposit for the house and there is a good chance it wont go through .We both think it will go through and he will pay it accordingly has he is getting a real good deal and as already the money to pay out , but as always other people are controlling our destiny and we will just have to wait and see.

Finished work yesterday felt really lousy full of cold sore throat and hot sweats have phoned in sick at both jobs going back to bed have plenty of fluids and remedies

Friday, November 07, 2008

Its raining again and i feel crap i have got a bad case of the runs been up twice during the night Helen is OK , and i guess today is going to be a long day i really should have stayed in bed but thought better off it , Should find out more about the house and our mortgage some time today we still looking at moving in before Christmas and now the interest rates have dropped we don't know if this will be passed on to us because the mortgage that has be agreed still only in principle is fixed for three years at a lot higher rate then the current rate which if was passed on to us would save us quite a lot of money .

Thursday, November 06, 2008

Back at work its boring as ever want a interesting job most of all i want a job i don't hate going to every day and i wish i could pick who i would want to work for then going to work wouldn't be such a drag.

Slave to a wage there must be a way out of this place if its the last thing i ever do only joking living with and being with Helen keeps me sane most of the time just ask my psychiatrist.
Finished work went home had a coffee then we went over to Asda to buy a Christmas tree its 7ft with 200 combination white lights all ready wired on to the branches all for £45 we also got some baubles and other decorations .

We do plan on going to Lincoln market and will get other trimmings from there .Last year we had very little in the way of decorations we had some Christmas cards a 10" tree and a string of lighted stars and that was it.

We have other two additions now residing in the fish tank , Helen bought two white goldfish so now we have a total of eight we might get another two a chocolate one and a black one which are in quarantine and are available on Sunday.
Yesterday i didn't work had the whole of the day off, got out up at around half nine went to Greengates to look for new boots for Helen no joy.
went over to a couple of garden centres that are now selling Christmas decorations trees and all other Christmas thingies bought some festive mugs for Irish coffee or , Irish tea if your called Helen.

Drove and parked up in Leeds city centre we went to Barrett's shoe shop and Helen bought some black leather boots then we walked up to Next for more retail therapy and Helen bought two pairs of pump like ballet shoes.I called in to Whittards and bought a hundred grammes of caramel flavored coffee.

Was passing the number one Chinese buffet as we walked back to were we had parked the car so we called in for tea , we pigged out but didn't over do it we have not been to eat at this restaurant since we lived at the apartment at Clarence Dock. So it was like going down memory lane as we talked about the days we spent living in the city centre.

For bonfire we went to Bramley park they lighted the stack of pallets and wood at seven o clock and at half past started the firework display , i have not been to a proper bonfire for the last twenty years the last one being at Roundhay park , Helen went to the same venue last year whilst we were living apart and sent me video clips of the display via my email at hotmail.......but this year we was watching them together whilst holding hands and hugging to keep warm .Went to her cousin Sharon's house where Gary had cooked us all jacket potatoes pork pies and peas which we ate after he had let some more fireworks and rockets off in the garden.

Tuesday, November 04, 2008

Went to get another haircut this dinner time it seems to grow way too fast so this time i opted for a grade two cut on the back and sides and it cut short and chopped in to on top, hopefully will last more than a few weeks until i need another visit to the barbers .Got tomorrow off the whole day so will be fireworks going off yet again in my life yippee .The mortgage is going through no news to report hopefully we are still looking at completing and getting moved in for Christmas hopefully not on the 25Th .Finally got letter that i had been waiting for the last twelve days it was being posted to my old address, so went to pick that up when i finished work at nine o clock i saw my son Guy, i do miss him i hope he realises its is mother i don't want in my life and not him he is due another sleep over will have to see when i have a weekend off.

SATURDAY
Woke up went down to the kitchen a mouse was caught in the trap i had baited using milky way bar which was placed on the top of the work top near the cooker it was a clean kill. Two traps in the cellar had trapped nothing.

Dropped Helen off at work there was no available shift for me so i headed in to Leeds city centre

Went down to Clarence Dock took some photos of the canal the Royal Armories and other buildings and bridges near by.Bought a sausage egg mac muffin from McDonald's then over to Starbucks for a white chocolate mocha coffee have now got a nice large Starbucks coffee mug , bought some more fresh coffee grounds .
Called in to Primark bought two black and two grey t-shirts and 10 pairs of black socks.Finished up at the Bar Ha-Ha had a pint of Magners before i went to pick Helen back up at three o clock

Sunday
Both of us worked until three o clock went over to Flockton to visit Sharon and Steve had a Chinese take away of duck in plum sauce, boiled rice , fries and onion rings.

Friday, October 31, 2008

We have mice in the house one strolled passed Helen while she was cooking tea and went down the back of the range as cool as you like .. also she found two dead bodies when she took the washing down to wash in the cellar where our washing machine is plumbed in.
They looked like that they must have died from hypothermia as they were only babies and no poison is being used .

A while ago the rabbits hutch had mice in the bedding so we knew that they was around and about our garden backs on to fields and hedges and with the cold weather we have been having recently they have no doubt headed for the warmth of our house more than likely getting through the footings and the void of pillars and joists that the conservatory sits on.

we have decided we are going to place traps which are to be baited with either milky way bar "we have been told that mice find them irresistible "or my choice is to bait the traps with raw bacon but as long as we get a result who cares.

So today at lunch time i will have to go to the Market in Leeds and buy some mouse traps think i will need minimum of half a dozen trouble with that is if each trap gets a mouse then i would say we had a major infestation this is going to freak Helen out even more she hates the little blighters.

One good thing about this is it might now be good time to explain to the landlord about the reason that we have had Bobby our cat with out asking his permission for the last few months.
The cat resides upstairs and never ventures down unless we bring her down to play with our dog which has the bottom use of the house , our dog Ellie has only just figured out
this week how to use the stairs she can now make it to the top landing but cant get back down as of yet we have to carry her down .

Thursday, October 30, 2008

Had the reports done for damp and wall ties work that will need doing for the damp it will cost around £750 to put right and for the wall ties £950.
We have not got the funds to pay for this work doing if its down for to us to pay it we cant get the work undertaken as we don't have any spare money and if the mortgage does depend
on it then we cant buy the house. We will have to decide what to do next it might be that we wait until after Christmas we need to talk and discuss our options .Nothing in life is straight forward but everything for reason and what will be will be we cant do any other than get on with what is thrown at us.

Tuesday, October 28, 2008

Woke up before the alarm went off Helen talking in her sleep again she still cute first morning i had to scrap ice of the car window hope we don't get any snow until its nearer Christmas and i am off from work .Got the second part of the yearly water bill to pay £117 to fork out , everything is getting so expensive no wonder we are having a major recession and a credit crunch , just to keep yourself housed , clean, warm and feed and clothed and run a car is the best part of a wage a salary and earnings.

Need to start looking at Christmas trees and decorations we bought a Father Christmas train and three carriages for £14.99 from a wholesalers last week, when we opened the box yesterday there was two packages in the taped up box , so we got two for the price of one and no we ain't taking one back it might end up on eBay , its to go circle around the base of our Christmas tree when we get one rigged up hopefully in the bay window of our new house. We need loads of Christmas things we have nothing need a tree was thinking of getting a real one with a root ball then after the festive season we can plant it in the garden of our new home as a reminder of our first Christmas in the home that we are buying together . We also need lights for the tree and Windows decorations for the tree and i would like a manger and a wreath for the front door .

Monday, October 27, 2008

Took the eBay packages with me to work , i went in to town at dinner time to get them all posted to the lucky bidders , after queuing up for a good half an hour and a total cost of £9.76 five packages are now going to different parts of the country.
Finished work at half past eight i picked Helen up from our house at Rodley and we drove over to my old house at Swillington i had to pick up two letters that i had been waiting for, they were being mailed to my old address , i saw the Ex - wife first time in ages , i felt nothing and had no feelings for her what so ever there was nothing there all my feelings were dead . The woman i love and want was sat in my car outside waiting for me.
Saw my son Guy he was just finishing walking my dog Bandit who i have not seen for a while i was glad to see her and she seemed happy to see me too , missed the dog more than the ex that should tell everyone something .
Went to the fish and chip shop near home bought two fish and two bread cakes and ate our fish sandwiches in the car before we went home .

Sunday, October 26, 2008

WEEKEND
worked until one on Saturday went over to Crown point industrial estate and bought some jiffy bags from Staples , Helen has sold her first few items on eBay it took a while for us to transfer funds from pay pal to her bank account but we finally did it after a few phone calls it was finally configured correctly and we was able to transfer money out of pay pal in to Helen's current account , which was just under forty pounds .

Didn't work Sunday but i still got up and dropped Helen off for her shift , got back home water pouring out from above the roof over the bay window and front door checked bathroom nothing was left overflowing or any taps running thought it might be a problem next door , flushed the toilet and the water stopped until the cistern filled up again and the water was back pouring out , checked the cistern the ballcock had snapped off and the cistern was filling up and running in to the overflow switched switched the water of to the cistern went to Wickes bought a new ballcock and fittings problem sorted.

Did all the ironing which was in our bedroom whilst Helen was at out at work , i am getting better but need to get a lot faster its amazing how much water i had to keep putting into the iron it was annoying.

Sunday night went back to the Toby carvery over at Rothwell pigged out but we didn't have any desert this time just had the one plate of main course both had roast turkey had loads of roasted potatoes and parsnips .

Wrapped and labelled the packages for the things that we have sold on eBay we sold four items then someone was offered a second chance so we ended up with another sale so now we are totalling nearly fifty pounds transferred the money this time without a hitch.

Watched London ink then two episodes of Miami ink before going to bed just after half twelve.

Friday, October 24, 2008

I have missed Helen a lot today , work seemed to have dragged more than normal i just want to be with Helen in our new home and i cant Wait until we get the house finally sorted and moved in .

i cant ever see me ever not being in love with Helen i adore her too much . We have endured so much together and giving up everything to be with one another Helen has done everything she can to be with me and more than i ever expected i have done everything i can and will continue to do what ever it takes to be with her..... i think we now both want a quite peaceful life just to be happy and to be in love and to make a home and to finally live every day without any argument grief and upset and turmoil. To have our new home filled with love and happiness even if we have very little in the way of material possessions we will have everything that we need to live life which is a lot more than some have.

Thursday, October 23, 2008

Today is my birthday and my twin sister's Anne i was born first by ten minutes .Woke up to a warm house with hot water the gas boiler got repaired yesterday.Went to the solicitors to complete some paperwork and take proof of I.D in and to pay the fees for the search .
Helen went for her sickness monitoring meeting at work she is now on stage two and will be monitored for the next four months .
Went to DFS and Helen ordered a two seat and a three seat sofa in fabric and leather to be delivered in time for Christmas.
Went over to Curry's on the industrial estate and priced up an electric cooker , washing machine, dryer and fridge freezer .Helen bought me this Morphy Richards coffee maker whilst we was there i have been want one for ages to replace the one i left at the house when i moved out.
Bought two different bags of filter coffee one Colombian and the other from Kenya , so has soon as it was out of the box i had freshly made coffee within eight minutes of switching it on . our house now will constantly smell of freshly made coffee i do drink loads of coffee it will never be off .
Went to Ikea bought a few things including a plant and Christmas stockings to hang over the fire place and a red throw went to the restaurant and pigged out on meatballs fries and gateau .

Wednesday, October 22, 2008

Helen goes for another viewing to the house that we are buying this afternoon , when we first viewed the house , buying it was a bit of a pipe dream now its reality and we are going to purchase it.

So viewing it will be in more detail with a different perspective also Helen is taking our camera with her to photograph of all the rooms , landings and hallways and other living space including exterior shots off the out buildings and gardens. No doubt there will be loads of details we never saw when we first saw the property both good and bad .There is no one from the estate agents office to show us round so they are trusting us with the keys to lock up and make sure all lights are off and its basically left how we find it.

I have the had to take the afternoon off to wait in for repairs to the boiler so we can have the heating on and use hot water again had a wash at work this morning and brushed my teeth when i got to work.

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

Finished work at eight thirty went home at the moment we have no central heating or hot water due to the boiler packing in , think its electrical fault rather than the gas side of it .So nothinmg is getting hot the radiators and water both stone cold.

Took my shaving gel and razor to work so i wouldn't have to boil the kettle this morning going to buy some shampoo and wash my hair tonight at the hospital job when everyone have gone home and i am on my own.

Don't know how long we are going to be with out hot water hopefully only a couple of days , least the kitchen utensils and crockery can go into the dishwasher so we don't have to worry about the plates and cups.

Helen hurt her back cleaning out the fish tank she lifted the tank full off water and moved it to over to the sink to empty it , she was suffering with back pain when i got home last evening.

At dinnertime bought some shampoo razors and lynx deodorant get sorted out at work to night before i go home , Helen had her haircut and coloured today so at least she will not need to wash it till tomorrow .

Work is still a toil at the moment at least doing it for a good reason hopefully to buy our new home the survey will be complete today .

Monday, October 20, 2008

some photos of our house we are buying these are taken off the estate agents page Helen is calling to view it again on Wednesday and hopefully will take more pictures of kitchen bathroom cellar hallways landings etc the picture above is showing the front garden its not looking like this at the moment it wants mowing and the hedge cutting with new plants and window box's and hanging baskets .We look on to a church which is directly opposite so we have decided that we are going to call our home Church View.
the rear garden garage and shed this too wants tidying up no one has been looking after the garden since March but come next summer i can see us having barbie-Q's and sitting out on an evening be nice to have a pond as well and some gold fish and pond life maybe some frogs and newts

The rear bedroom at least we wont have to buy wardrobes straight away will need curtains and a carpet in time .

Our bedroom same again fitted wardrobes these will have to put us on until we can rip them out and buy new ones , its nice to have a bay window , i have never owned a house with bay windows before it makes the rooms look a lot bigger be nice to do a window seat with storage boxes under neath maybe.

At least it will be warm if nothing else hope them logs last through out the winter , its another wicked carpet too lol.

the front room with another bay window be nice to see our Christmas tree and decorations up in this room and tree lights around the bay window on dark cold night i reckon this will look quite homely.Do like the stain glass in the top sash windows which when we replace with PVC double glazed units will some how have to have this glass incorporated in to the new units if we can.

The fire surround in the front room looks like i use to have years ago but at least the fire looks newer and should put out some heat in the coming cold winter nights it looks better then the other fire .
The carpet might have to come up and strip the floor boards maybe stain them a dark teak colour .
Helen would like a rocking horse for a feature in this bay window, we have been looking at some on eBay .

WEEKEND

End of a busy week been lots going on this week with visits to the Mortgage advisor estate agents time of work sorting paperwork out signing documents and waiting to organise our new home purchase.

Both of us worked 7.00 am until 3.00 pm over both days , Saturday night went to the Toby carvery for tea really pigged out we both ate too much had two giant Yorkshire puddings two meats beef and turkey plus loads of roasted spuds and roasted parsnips plus we had desert as well , tried out a Jacques orchard fruits cider which comes in 750ml bottles which served over ice went down too nice , Went to Methley to visit John Helen's brother on the Saturday and on the Sunday went to Crofton to visit Martin , Helen's younger brother.

MONDAY
The surveyor goes out tomorrow to inspect the house we are buying , hopefully is report goes in before the end of the week and finds no defects or major faults in the structure of the house.

After working the weekend and being at work with Helen its weird working through the week without her beside me especially in the car driving to work and coming home from work. Without seeing her at break time and lunches .

Friday, October 17, 2008

Still not sunk in that we have a mortgage to be repaid over the next twenty years , i never thought that i would be happy that happy repaying another mortgage and starting out again .

Helen has been a superstar in the things she has done so we can get this house i will always appreciate what she did for us.

its now saying sold on the website of the estate agent and there is a sold sign subject to contract on the for sale sign in the garden of the house hope full by the start of December that will be ripped out laying in the garden.

Thursday, October 16, 2008

We have been offered a mortgage it took a while to sink in still cant believe it , we can buy our house and home that we have been chasing . Its going to stretch us for a few years but we can manage it between us we will have to keep a tight rein on money and watch all the bills we have already discussed getting a payment meter for the gas and electric so we have no big unexpected bills dropping through the letter box.The mortgage will be paid on the day my wage goes into the bank so there is no way it wont ever not get paid.We paid for the search doing and the house has been sold subject to contract .We have instructed the solicitors to go ahead with the purchase .
We have arrange contents and build insurance and life cover which decreases what it pays out has the house is being paid off over the next twenty years.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

Yesterday went really well we saw the new advisor and she was a godsend she will get us a mortgage she phoned the estate agents and told them she was using the Nationwide and the sale was to go ahead the trouble with the nationwide is you have to do a paper application and post it to them they don't do applications via online but she is adamant they will give us it.

our credit score is fine its to do with our other commitments to loan companies other and my mortgage , credit cards we just come in at 200k which is four times are combined salaries so we are borderline.

If we get this mortgage we will be paying back £805 each month over the next twenty years. We pay at the moment £665 rent it make sense to buy the house we are after was originally on the market for £140k we have made an offer of 115k and its been accepted.

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Hope today are destiny is sorted out that we can be granted the money to buy the house we have been after since we first saw it being advertised for sale online. We go today at twelve to sort it all out fingers crossed.
Cleaned out button our pet rabbit's cage this morning so its house and home is in order no rent to pay or mortgage outstanding on that residence. maybe today we get to know one way or the other if our wishes have been granted .

Monday, October 13, 2008

Helen was back at work this weekend the both of us worked until one o clock. When we finished we went round to her parents house to pick up her wedding dress and a copy of her marriage certificate , her father had called round to her old house to collect them on her behalf , i think she is going to sell the dress on and the marriage certificate i hand delivered this morning and posted through the letter box of our solicitors office in the city centre.

Our offer of £115 thousand on the house that we are currently looking at buying as been accepted. We are now seeing Jill or new mortgage advisor tomorrow at 12 noon , who hopefully will sort us out a mortgage, we just know she will. Both parties are looking at the sale going through as quick as possible we have the deposit we just need a lender to agree to loan us the cash.

Saturday, October 11, 2008

Have been refused the mortgage our advisor still does not know why?, i thought we was waiting to find out why and what the problem was ,we knew there was something wrong he told us that now we have to get two Experian credit checks done to see what has come up,THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE FOUR DAYS AGO.
we are changing mortgage advisors WE FEEL WE HAVE BEEN LET DOWN ,we will some how get this sorted out and at some stage soon get this house we so desperately want. We have a meeting this coming Tuesday at twelve o clock with the new mortgage advisor hope she is better than him.

Friday, October 10, 2008

Kept phone up all day about the mortgage i finished work at ten to three to pick Helen up and go round in person to see what was happening the advisors phone was going straight to his voice mail.

when we got to his office in Pudsey he told us in person that no decision had been made yet still not a yes still not a no, that he was waiting for them to get back in touch .he said the current climate of the banking situation stocks and shares is taking its toll and time to sort things out, that the banks and building society's are having their worse financial period period since the 1930's .We will now hopefully find out by the close of play today .
Helen goes back to work this weekend for the first time in four months we are both finishing at one o clock.

Thursday, October 09, 2008

Today is the day we find out about our mortgage application and if its been finally approved , if it as we put in a offer in for the house that we are have been chasing and the ball starts to roll to get us back on the property ladder.

It is hard waiting everything so far everything as gone our way so far so good , it would be ironic for it to fall at the last hurdle . Neither of us have had much sleep since Tuesday and even if it is approved then we are going to be far too excited to sleep and if its turned down far too upset to sleep.

Wednesday, October 08, 2008

Woke up this morning well before the alarm went off been thinking about the mortgage application and hopefully it be some minor technicality that is easily sorted out, and will still let us go ahead with the buying of the house we both want.

we have hardly any furniture to move in to when we do get our new home the house will be quite empty there is fitted wardrobes in two of the bedrooms , but we will beg and borrow and buy from eBay we can visit car boots sales and look for decent second hand shops and other bargain outlets to hunt out the things we will need and want and until we have everything that we need ,we will save and try and get items every month and we will save every penny we can it will be hard work but fun as well and we will look on it as a quest and each item that we do get will be will be for our home.

The main thing hopefully is that we will have the HOUSE that we went after with a vengeance and got at a rock bottom price with its three bedrooms , two reception rooms , kitchen , bathroom , and cellar and out buildings plus loft space and front and rear gardens. It will make money in the long term as it is well under priced by around 50k.

WENT- in to town at dinner time as i desperately needed my haircut , its always time to grow but never time to get it cut .I eventually found a barbers with no one waiting there was two sat half way through having there's cut so i waited i have got to admit it was cut better than i thought seeing as i had not been there before its always raises the question will they cut it as i want it , but i did walk away a happy customer but of course i will have to wait until i get home to see if Helen agrees hehe she did text me she was trimming her bush , she did borrow her Fathers hedge trimmers especially to do the job ,i said i will be happy to go over it and inspect it when i get home cant wait.

Went to the ATM close to where i work to withdraw some cash mainly so i could do tonight's National Lottery, it was out of order with no other machine close by i had to walk back to work so i could borrow a pound and then walk back to put one line on , i do hope it was worth the hassle enough to be mortgage free would be sufficient.

Helen at three o clock today..... as i type this is signing for her, cash settlement from her husband and the , paperwork so that her name comes of the joint mortgage .

Tuesday, October 07, 2008

Yippee what a result we have the money sorted from her ex-Husband its all going through he goes to the Building society and to his solicitor to get it all signed up sealed and transfer the funds to Helen hopefully by this Friday.

There is a hitch with the mortgage application the computer that processes it has thrown a query that needs a business advisor working for the lenders to look at the application and make a human decision the computer wont accept the application or turn it down so its not a yes and its not a no , we wont now find out until Thursday afternoon so its crunch time.

Got home from work at half eight and we had tea together ,we then drove to the other side of Leeds from where we live and went to Tesco to kill some time , bought some bread and eggs and bottled water and yogurts when we got back home Helen did the tarot cards from the cards dealt it looks positive that this house is ours we will have to wait and see.
Yesterday i finished work at dinner time both of us went to see a mortgage advisor in Pudsey Leeds and was told that if we can get a 10% deposit on the value of any house we want to buy then we can get a mortgage offer to enable us to buy the house that we so desperately want.

Went to the solicitors with Helen at four o clock she has the same solicitor as me, he thought i was her husband coming down to argue his case with him he did not look amused when the penny dropped who i was he looked relieved then smiled and laughed i think he genuinely was happy for us both , nothing to do with the two sets of bills and costings .

He has draughted a letter to her Husband and his solicitors and started her divorce proceedings

Helen is asking for her name to be taken of the joint mortgage and for 15k from the equity of the property it is written that she would seek nothing else and no other clause's would be drawn in to this it would be final. This is a extremely good offer for her husband to accept he would not get a better deal ,

If this happens and we can buy this house we are after then we are back on the property ladder the house we have chosen will make us a profit further down the line and we would be sorted settled and more then happy and would make this Christmas and the new year the best ever.

When i finished work we went to visit two people that we work with at the Hospital Linda and Dave they was told that they had no chance of getting a mortgage and was turned down a few weeks ago because they had no credit history, and was not on any electoral roll but they battled on and last Friday they moved into there first house together that they are buying after getting a mortgage advisor and finally a offer from a lender to lend them the money to buy their new home and house .
The mortgage advisor is now doing a credit check on both Helen and myself , if we both pass this we than have the mortgage we will find out later today if this has gone through ok i must have had one done when i bought the car so i cant see there be any issues.

Monday, October 06, 2008

SATURDAY

Finished work at one again went to Startforth in the North Riding of Yorkshire where Barnard Castle is situated its a small market town if the weather had been nicer we would have walked around more we visited a couple of antique shops and a craft shop we had tea and cake in Penny's Cafe

and headed back home to Leeds where we bought fish and chips for supper.

Helen had drawn up floor plans on A3 paper for all the rooms in the house that we are still trying and hoping to buy, we cut out from magazines and catalogues furniture and other appliances , kitchens , cookers , tables and stoves , wallpaper and fabric samples , bedding beds and wardrobes and stuck them in each room we want this house more than ever we have another appointment F2F with a mortgage advisor at one today Helen sees her solicitor also at four o clock today to try and get money owed to her released from her Husband for her share of the equity in her house and her name taken of the mortgage hopefully this will change our situation and we should then be able to get a mortgage organised and sorted out .

SUNDAY

Finished work at one went home Helen had a full English breakfast waiting for me when i got home after pigging out we went over to Knaresborough the sun was shining walked through town down to the river, form there we went over to Flockton near Wakefield to visit Sharon and Steve had tea /dinner at the local pub .

Friday, October 03, 2008

Today woke up feeling all is well and that life is great Helen as that effect on me and i am more happier for the simple reason that Helen is coming in to Leeds this dinner time and meeting me at lunch time on our bridge, the one that we use to meet on a regular basis like every dinner time Monday to Friday each week. This was before we left to be together and we was both in marriages that we didn't want belong in anymore with people we didn't love anymore.

Found out we have been refused a mortgage on are current circumstances that fact is that if we had another mortgage between the both of us we would have three mortgages running at the same time. Which is a problem because we don't earn enough between us to cover all the payments ,who does these days , even though Helen pays nothing towards her mortgage and i only pay three hundred pounds towards mine, so the options are we have to loose one mortgage or we buy to rent to enable us to buy to rent we need 15% deposit we would then be given the loan for a house so hopefully its still not all doom and gloom.Helen goes to see her solicitor Monday to discuss removing her name from their joint mortgage and the implications if she does before her divorce is final.

Helen called in to where i work and waited until i finished my job at four o clock , i had left her in town at dinner time, she went for her appointment with Tress Connor a spiritualist and medium she was given a lot of positive feed back for our future and our life together.

My daughter phoned me up whilst i was at my hospital shift and asked if she could come and live with us she is not getting on with her mother so in the space of one month i have had both my kids ask if they can come live with Helen and me.No doubt it will all quieten down and she will stay where she is,we would have either one of them or both of them live with us if that's what they really needed or wanted.

Thursday, October 02, 2008

Made a offer on the house that we both viewed yesterday , and for now the offer as been accepted. We have a mortgage advisor today that is trying to arrange a company who is willing to give us a mortgage that we urgently need to buy this property.
We both have our names on other mortgages with our ex partners which i know complicates things , but the rent that we pay now is equivalent to paying monthly repayments on a mortgage.
We can only hope there is a lot of ifs but we both want this house it has a good feel to it and we will be happy there and we will hopefully move in before Christmas.
If we cant get this house then we will arrange more viewings we have already been offered a mortgage with the Halifax for 100k up to 138k if i sell my house and are mortgage free , so its not all doom and gloom things are happening about the sale of my house that i cant write about here at this time , but things will progress and hopefully solutions found and head way made. At the moment other people as always control our destiny,we should find out tomorrow the answer to the questions will any mortgage company lend us the money required to buy a home together as is our situation is at the moment, we hope they do.

went to view this semi detached house today with Helen at Bramley would be a great buy if we can get a mortgage sorted .

It does need decorating and in need of new carpets in some of the rooms . It only as a shower room and basin and is without bath but it has separate w.c that could all be knocked through to make one big bathroom .

It also as a very small but useful downstairs cellar which would make a great little workshop.

All the living rooms are of a decent size, and the back room room adjoining the kitchen we would also take the wall out and knock through to make one big dining kitchen area with a large fitted kitchen and appliances we would also fit patio doors where the window is and add on and a small conservatory .

We would fund all this when I sold my house and received the equity available from the profit.

All the front rooms have bay windows , it has three bedrooms and gardens to the front and rear and a garage with a drive to the side of the house.

If we got this property we would never need to move again and could be settled for the rest of our life's.

Helen is trying her best to sort out the deposit from her ex Husband he as agreed in princible to pay her out for her share in the house that she lived in with him, and he already has the money to do this and just needs to release it through his solicitor. So fingers crossed.

Helen bought a new toaster last night i have made a promise to her as soon as i can i will buy us a house to put it in. I love her and i want us to buy a house to get a mortgage and decorate and furnish a HOME TOGETHER the way we want it.
I have never wanted anything as much or as bad as i want a new home with Helen , i want us to get back on the property ladder and make a new start i honestly would not ask God for anything else if he granted me this wish , maybe only that we live happy ever after which i know we would and will.

It would make everything worth the struggle that we have both endured over the last year and it would be light at the end of the tunnel , and i know it would be heaven, coming home each night to the woman i love in our house.
For then i would know my life would be complete and finally whole , i wouldn't ask , want or long for anything else as long as i lived .
I want to sell my house get the cash from it as quick as it is possible and without any doubt i would invest it all, every single penny if i have to in to buying our next home and furnishing it how we want it to secure our future.
I will make it happen and i do believe it will happen , i will get my old home sold eventually its going through in slow motion at the moment but it will speed up and we will move on to new beginning's in a new house in a new area in a new village in a new home.

Thursday

Finally go the brakes sorted out on the Landrover they no longer squeak the garage have had to fit new pads fitted even though the old ones had plenty of life in them .Also got the petrol cap working again it now locks and opens like it should.

Friday

Went to my solicitors and paid £500 in fee's for work undertaking on my divorce ouch.

Helen went to River Island and bought a long grey cardigan.

Saturday
Finished work at one o clock picked Helen up drove over to the Whiterose Shopping Centre to take a cardigan back that she bought from River Island in Leeds yesterday they didn't have the size in stock to replace it . I bought the new James Patterson novel from WHSmith.

We picked my son up Guy from Swillington he is staying over tonight ,we headed for A64 to York,we didn't use the park and ride this time it was let afternoon so we parked up in York city centre close to the river , someone handed me their parking ticket as they where leaving so it cost us nothing.Bought stuff from Next ,We bought Guy a Carbrini black jacket and matching black tracksuit bottoms and a white Nike t-shirt.Went to GBK for tea all of us had burgers and coke's .

We arrived back at Leeds just after half past eight the three of us then took Ellie down to the Canal for a walk we visited the Railway pub we sat outside whilst we had a drink .

Sunday
Worked until one o clock at two o clock we was on the M62 heading for Blackpool pleasure beach

it was surprising i didn't get lost the last time i was in Blackpool Guy was being pushed round the Pleasure Beach in his pram .Helen and me decided to go on the Big One i talked her in to it got to admit she was brave , we had to buy a book of twenty tickets we needed sixteen tickets for the Pepsi Max Big One we have both been on it before years ago got to admit the ride up to the first drop is quite a climb and once you get to the point of no return and when you do go over the edge you do realise at that point your mortality is in the hands of the Gods and the maintenance staff of BPB, two and a half minutes later its all over and we walk away safe it would have been nice to take a few photos if i could have got both hands of the handrail that i was gripping and Helen had her eyes open.

Guy wanted to sleep over again and to miss out Mondays School we really do love having him to stay and he gets on great with Helen , but i said no i wouldn't let him so i dropped him off at home back at Swillington , i think he was pissed of at me but it is his last year in school and he needs to put in the effort and do well.

Helen got up at 7-30 this morning to take our westie Ellie for her coat washing and cutting clipping and triming for the first time. She was well behaved and no trouble she came back looking like a new dog and generally seemed pleased with herself. The picture above is before the picture below after the visit to the Bath tub the name of the dog parlour that she went for the transformation which just cost twenty pounds.

I would like to see her bath our trim our cat think she want more than twenty pound that wouldn't cover the cost of the plasters.

SUNDAY

Finished work at one o clock, went home got showered after a quick coffee .

Helen and me decided to take Ellie out so we drove over to Ilkley.I parked up in the town centre and passed a shop that looked like they might sell sugars tongs which they did so we now have tongs lol.We walked up to the moor via White Wells road i think we should have drove up and parked , we sat down and ate the food that we had just bought from Gregg's.

There was a brass band playing in the bandstand near to where we had parked with a singer as well as the instruments playing.

The plan was to then drop our westie of and go for Sunday lunch to the Stanfield Arms which we did , it was only 5.45 pm when we got there only to be told no room at the inn,so i had a bottle of pear cider and Helen had her lager and lime and talked about where to go to eat decided on visiting the White Swan at Aberford again if they was full then we would back track to the Roundhay Fox .

We did have a forty minute wait once we got to the White swan but we eventually got feed we both order six lamb chops with all the trimmings including Yorkshire puddings we didn't both with desert just for a change.

MONDAY

Went back home at dinner time to pick Helen up and drop her off for her physio appointment at the hospital at one o clock. She looked stunning i wish i could take the rest of the afternoon off the rest of the day the rest of my life and be with her , she just does something too me and I LOVE HER for it, Bloody work always gets in the way of living our lives.wish i had hours with Helen and minutes working but at this moment it is the other way round, one day it wont be and we will be together more time than were apart .

Watched the first episode of "The Family" on ITV catch up on the computer on Saturday night, i asked Helen if ITV wanted to do a documentary on couples who have left there unhappy marriages and are now making a new life together.

Would she be up for us to be filmed, so viewers nation wide could see how we get on living life day to day, plus obviously family and friends would see everything going on in our life's and just how much we are in love.

Helen said no, i have to admit i said yes but only if it was stupid money that was being paid to us, which would be enough for us to to buy a house together outright to be mortgage or rent free would be a great blessing.
Picked Helen up from physio at 2 0' clock i took her home she is to go again next week and they will get her knee back to how it should be , hopefully without the need for an operation. They have told her to ride her bicycle more we might go to the canal more and do some cycling hopefully the weather will let us , would really love it if we had a Indian summer that carried on through to Christmas .
