SATURDAY
Went to work finished at one o clock we took Guy home later in the afternoon he had stayed Friday night.
We drove over back to where we lived and bought a couple of fish and bread cakes we then we picked two friends up Linda and Dave and set off to Lincoln, we was going to visit the Christmas market which part of it is held in the castle grounds. We missed the turn off so came of the motorway at Grantham then backed tracked to Lincoln going through all the little villages on route we then got to Lincoln and followed the park and ride signs to park up we finally got to the market just after seven. Hot Mulled wine and a chili burger with cheese i bought from one of the vendors inside the castle grounds mainly to warm me up as it was quite cold.
I bought the stone head pictured above for £6.00 its the size of half a football and its going to be called Ted after my late father , to go with Ethel the Gargoyle which represents my mother. Helen bought a hurricane lamp and some circular mirrors to go in the garden all in all it was a good atmosphere the market closed at half nine and we went back for the bus to take us back to the park and ride .
SUNDAY
Woke up and the sun was shining, decided to go over to York and visit there Christmas market .
Stopped at the red Bus cafe on the A64 had a full English breakfast sitting on the top deck got to say it was one of the nicest breakfast that i have had for a while it was spot on as Helen says.
also used the park and ride and got in to York city centre just after one o clock bought some Christmas rum truffles and had tea and coffee at the Earl Grey Tea Room, bought a calender a Christmas angel and tea lights one of a Santa and one of a snow covered cottage.
It was very similar to Lincoln most of the shambles had Christmas trees jutting out from the walls on brackets at a angle which where all light up once it got dark both cathedrals are very similar got to say Lincolns market is one of the biggest markets in England and cannot be compared to York's in anyway shape or form.
MONDAY
Went to the Doctors with Helen to discuss our options regarding having a child and what is available for us to choose from regarding reversal or ivf treatment cost and time scales and guarantee's if any .
Went to the solicitors and signed all the paperwork regarding the buying of the house to get us back on the property market again , it should complete this Friday fingers crossed if not early next week twenty years time and we will be mortgage free it will fly by all i know is a lot is going to happen in the next few months what twenty years is going to bring i cant predict as long as it joy and happiness i wont complain.
MOVED BACK TO HOLMFIRTH , WE ARE OUT OF THE STATIC HOME , AND ARE NOW MOVED IN AND LIVING IN A NEWLY BUILT TWO BED STONE END TERRACE , WITH GEORGE AND BENTLEY OUR TWO CATS AND PIPPA AND BAILEY OUR TWO DOGS.THIS IS OUR FOREVER HOME I DOUBT THAT WE WILL EVER LEAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL HOUSE IN A GREAT LOCATION WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO LIVE HERE FOREVER.
