Went out this morning bought five plain white T-shirts and ten pairs of trainees socks I have all I need to go on holiday with just need to pack our suitcases ready for our flight which is next Monday early morning .
Helen is having her nails done in the morning and her hair done Saturday I am also getting mine cut .
TUESDAY
Helen had her nails done this morning and got them painted white , not sure why white but she is happy . Bought four small padlocks for the two suitcases I know they are only a deterrent got stronger padlocks and the zip fasteners will break at the end of the day a utility blade would open it up like a tin of beans any way .
I will pack no earlier than Friday before I go to work at six , doing a six two for my last shift for two weeks .
WEDNESDAY - At the vets with Bailey last two days he has had loose stools and small amounts of blood he is lively enough but is sleeping more than usually he was given two injections and some paste that he needs twice a day hopefully next 48 hours he will be fine also bought a ready cooked chicken and some rice vets fees £76 just what I needed before going on holiday .
The wood carving knife never arrived I was given a full refund from the seller which is good but leaves me without a knife will wait now until after I arrive home from my holiday .

ONWARD
Two baked jacket potatoes with salt and butter , a tub of chicken tikka sandwich spread with real chicken pieces and another tub of three cheese spread all from Asda plus a packet of cooked tandoori chicken breast you can guess the rest gorgeous , filling , tasty and reasonably cheap .
On the flip side off that I also bought some Waygu steak and fillet steak from Asda for £8.95 it is not the proper Japanese meat but none the less was ok had it with stuffed mushrooms fries and onions .
Went to the chiropodist today in Kirkburton I booked it the start of this week , my sat nav took me totally in the wrong direction thanks google maps eventually got there ten minutes late .Have to admit my feet feel a lot better after the routine if hard skin removal and nails cutting have booked in for another session in eight weeks time .
Need to find a good book to read on holiday I have a week to finish it well when I say book I mean Kindle or iPad reading a normal book just doesn't do it any more .
Also need some new tunes putting on my Samsung s 8 .
Ordered a book of Amazon by Howard Schultz "Onward " a biography about Starbucks CEO and the company I also want to buy when it comes out on the 13th of September "Small Fry " by Lisa Brennan Jobs ,who is Steve Jobs daughter .

YOUR BED , YOU LIE IN IT .
I have been asked at work by the managers if I would be willing to do the six two shift that's six at night until two in the morning for a whole six or seven months starting middle of October , what's to refuse of course I said yes .
Well went back to the garden centre yet again think the car could drive itself have been that many times over the last few weeks .We went for another two conifers and another six bags of stone for the garden after adding these six bags all of the soil will be covered with a layer of stone chippings that are different shades of colours that also change shade when it rains .must have spent the past part of £175 on stone chippings.
Also bought another 50 litre bag of compost which I think adds up to in the region of 16 x 50 litre bags.
Both of the dogs got identical new beds extra comfy extra warm can bet they will be arguments between them both they also got a big double mattress which just fits under a unit in the bedroom.
Me I got two Yorkshire pasties one for dinner which I had with chips and gravy and the other to take to work which I had with brown sauce and a peanut chunky Kit Kat.
Filled the car up to the max until it was to the brim of the tank they was enough fuel to do another 80 miles I put £44.05 of unleaded in the tank which maxed it out . The petrol gauge show enough for 420 miles but that wont drop until I have done at least maybe fifty miles.
THURSDAY - Bought another two cichlid fish for the tank got a pair they are nice electric blue and yellow but once settled will be more pastel coloured they have settled in and seem to be fitting right in which is always good .
Work is a pain atm I cant stand managers what flap when there is no need or line managers who when are told they will have to wait for jobs doing , because there is no one to do them because they have cocked up the shift rotas and they don't have enough staff in because they have granted too much leave to people , who then expect us to sort out their shit I don't think it will happen , so sorry your bed you lie in it .

CRAVING
Have been watching a really good wood carver on You Tube his channel is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fdom15Mbfrg he makes it look so easy I have ordered a scalpel handle and some blades to keep the cost down and also they will be surgical sharp and they say it is only blunt tools that cut you lets hope that quote is correct . I also bought a Narex wood carving knife all I need now is wood and plasters .
Booked Bailey in Bretton Park Kennels £16 a day he is booked in for ten days take him in on a Sunday afternoon at two o clock we visited the Kennels today and paid a £25 deposit the remainder is paid when we pick him back up on our return .

WAY OFF
Went to see Jason Statham in "The Meg " which was OK , he sure won't win any Oscar's and it is not his best staring role , it was different not seeing him taking on ten guys and kicking arse.
Bought some more plants for the garden and another bag of peat still need more gravel for the boarders will have to wait .
Baby sat Jenson for my daughter watched "Finding Nemo' , Toy Story 3 and Tangled after he went to bed I watched "Forest Gump " think I enjoyed it more watching it again then watching it the first time round .
SUNDAY -Went to Copmanthorpe to the Royal Oak for Sunday lunch had roast beef dinner and for desert had the apricot brad and butter pudding with pouring cream it was excellent .
Bidding on a Super Dry rucksack I am the highest bid one and a half hours to go I could easily put in a highest bid I am at £11.50 it is not brand new how high do I go .
Saw some new build static homes where Helen's parents live , they are ultra nice and they are more like a decent bungalow no expense speared looking inside they have a nice kitchen and furnishings. I guess would need a fair wad of cash to make the move guessing £220k , even if we got £75 k for ours at a push , we still be way off the mark .
Bailey's bucket on his head came off yesterday tomorrow he is back at the vets for a post op check up he seems fine .

ALL STONED
Three days then back at work had a text asking if I would work next week doing 6-2 of course I said yes did not want to go back doing 2-10 got use to hassle free parking and no managers about plus I get to spend more time at home .
The weather has been cooler the last couple of days and we have had a little rain it is also colder on a night could summer be coming to a end hopefully the rumours that we will be having an Indian summer this year are true , fingers crossed.
My case for my S8 came yesterday if I bought it in one of the shopping Malls at the little carts outside would have cost me at least a tenner from Ebay only £2.95 .
Helen bought three wrought iron planters for the bay windows of our van , I fixed them using metal washers and 50mm coach bolts hopefully they will remain in situ and won't move , I have also wired them in place hopefully they will stay put .
Also bought another six bags of stone clippings for the boarders reckon we are going to need at least another ten bags to complete it all so all the boarders are all completely stoned .
Cooked Aberdeen Angus steak with stuffed mushroom , fried onion rings and fries for tea was well stuffed , washed down with a ice cold can of Dr Pepper my second favourite Coca Cola being no1 soft drink .
I am currently bidding on a Super Dry rucksack for my holiday on Ebay was wining now losing with two days to go .

HEAD
Want to go see "The Meg" the new shark film starring Jason Statham cant make out how serious it is from watching the You Tube trailers so will have to check it out if I go to the cinema it be a record three films in the space of a few weeks .
Order from Ebay a new wallet and a new case for my Samsung 8 very cheaper the wallet was the dearer of the two at £5.99 it has RFID protection the phone case does not have a slot for a debit card hence the new slim line wallet .
The ton of stone chipping came today just before noon I only had a plastic snow shovel to move it all it took me the best part of an hour but eventually I did it , in the end there was just enough , although if we go down the left hand side we will need to get some more bags .
Bought an Easter island stone head and a grass plant I have been meaning to get one for ages for the last few years anyway . They had a medium size one at the garden centre it is quite heavy so first one bought and I also got a grass plant for its hair looks good it is watching over us bet I get more .

DRY DUCK
Last shift working 6 - 2 next week I am on annual leave a total of nine days off .
Helen has had a few readings in the last few days which has helped her out it has been rather dismal lately for her .
Her youngest son found out his girlfriend has been kissing another man behind his back they have just returned from an holiday in Spain when he found out of course he is not happy .
Redoing the front of the garden are changing the total structure and how it looks we have expanded the width of the boarders on either side and will get new bushes and plants as and when , pictures to follow .
Had to buy a new garden X hose from B&Q it is a blue and it is 50 foot 3x expanding hose there was tear in the old one and it blew once the water was turned on , I also bought a Japanese Acer tree which was reduced by 50%.
Had a Chinese take away I ordered a curry duck with noodles but when I got back home and opened it up Helen got sweet and sour pork , it was a portion of duck fired rice which would have been fine but there was no curry sauce so the dish was as dry as Gandhi's flip flop which sort of ruined the meal. .
