SO GOOD

Well the Asus  Nexus is wrapped up ready for collection tomorrow between 09.00 am and 16.00 pm of course i will be up early just in case like you do.

Been reading about the American homeless person who received a diamond ring in his collection when a lady emptied her coin purse in to his cup , she had taken her ring off and forgot , when she realised what had happened she went back the homeless guy but he had already left for the day , she went back the following day and the homeless man was once again in his spot under bridge she asked if had found anything valuable in his cup he said he had and handed her the ring , she was so touched she posted the story on line and asked for donations to help the man out for his good gesture hoping to get around a $1000 they received  $150,000,  the ring was worth $4000  the money was given to  homeless guy can now afford to buy himself
a house and get off living on the streets for good , well it cheered me up.

Below is Billy Ray Harris the homeless man who's no longer without a home so Good be a film before you know it .Restores your faith in the world.

NO LONGER GREAT

MONDAY
Its cold and grey might even snow it was trying yesterday whilst we was in York but it was not laying and ended up more like sleet today feels colder and the skies greyer

Phoned Asus support up got through on the fourth attempt after so long you get disconnected and have to re call , i received a repair number and was given a site address to go to to fill out a form for the item details my contact details to arrange a collection for the Nexus .

The web address given was wrong but eventually i sussed it out when i typed the devices serial number it came back invalid back on the phone to Asus after three attempts i finally got the serial number sorted and sent the form i should hear something back via email within 48 hours.

Never know i might get a free upgrade to a 32gb instead of the 16gb model i have , i like Android and i like the Nexus i still want one and would still recommend one to people shit happens.

TUESDAY
Last night of working until two in the morning last twelve hour shift next week i have the week off so can chill out and relax and catch up with some sleep.

Got a email from Asus i have a  Rma number and its backed up  packed up ready to go , i am just waiting for a email with a pick up time and date , fingers crossed its supposed to be a seven day turn around.

My daughter lands in Manchester  airport on the 27th March at 11.20 am i have offered to pick her up .
She will have been gone just a year she be leaving paradise to come back here grey dull Yorkshire

It was on the local news a group of lads took a dog broke  its back legs , then  put a rope round its neck and dragged it in to a field , where they  tied it to a tree and to set it on fire , makes you fucking sick who wants to live in a shit hole like this with people who are not even half human , i pray what goes around comes back double.I think its about time that we dropped the Great from Great Britain .

DAY IN YORK

Went over to York just after dinner parked up by the river  we passed the York eye on the drive in it looked smaller than the one in Leeds town centre but they are mote then likely the same size.

The picture below is the Purple man he is a street mime artist he sits on his bike still until someone checks him out he then moves to prove he is not a statue , i don't know where he lives how he gets to the Shambles in York but he is there most days , what do the neighbour's say when he leaves for work what type of house does he live in what does he do on his days off , how much money does he get donated and how does he work his tax returns out what did he do before this has he ever had a regular nine to five job his he an eccentric millionaire ,

so in a week i have discovered a man with a cat called bob ,and  a man who looks after kangaroos , and a man who paints him self purple and  sits on a bike and does nothing all day , it be a hard choice to make if i had to swap life's with one of them , like hell it would be in the bush.

Meet up with my son and saw his girlfriend for the first time picked my son up first then we called for his girl , then we all  went back in to York about 10 miles away for something to eat we went  to Zizzi's a Italian restaurant Helen and i both  had Carbonara and some bread sticks which where freshly baked .
My sons girl is very sweet and polite she lives in Millington not too far from Pocklington , my son is moving to another village six miles away , my ex and her husband to be are selling up and renting a place guess more people are thinking like us cash the chips in and move elsewhere don't know how long we will have to wait to find a buyer i reckon end of summer we be packing fingers crossed.

BUSTED

Have totalled my Asus nexus 7 the screen is totally washed out i am going to phone Asus up Monday and see if i am covered under the warranty if not i might ask if they would fix it and bill me depending on how much it cost.if i have to buy a new one at least a small consolation is i can get a 32gb one for the same price i bought the original 16gb one.wont be until next month , it was my own fault it is nothing to do with the machine i put it in my back trouser pocket , as i was moving office and before i left i sat at my computer to check something out and i must have somehow bent the screen so it distorted it , but didn't crack it , even though it was in a sturdy wrap around case its totally busted .
I was gutted i have a lot of stuff on there films albums photos games etc etc  and i feel lost without it and i feel stupid for not having had  more respect for it , glad it was not the top of the range i-pad.

On a better note i got my camera plus my case back , i had pawned it and never went back for it , as it had not been sold  i bought it back it did not cost that much more than when i should have bought it back a extra ten quid ,  that was in  December and as i know its history seeing  i owned it from new . and the fact i have two 4 gb cards for it and  two lots of rechargeable batteries it is was silly not to buy it back especially as it is not the old.

Went to our favorite fish restaurant for dinner we had been in to town Helen bought some new Ugg boots and a leather bag form White Stuff , i nearly bought a bottle of Crystal head vodka it was £48 i was tempted but i didn't , and its still on my list to get , i got a 2.5 litre bottle of pear cider instead least my head wont be suffering in the morning..

Helen did a reading for a lady she didn't realise until she walked in to our house she had been viewing it the night before on line with the estate agents that we have it up with to sell , she thought it was fate spooky told Helen she should have said it was in the cards , the lady is coming back to view it Helen couldnt show her a round as the bedroom was a mess Helen is house proud some of the time , check it out here .http://www.vebra.com/property/805/23793266

Playing -  Dead Trigger ( well i was )

Watching -  part two "Kangaroo Dundee"  (part two)

Wanting - A working Tablet

Listening to - R.E.M "Around The Sun" (because i am depressed anyway)

ROO & BOB

Have been really tired getting to bed at nearly three am each morning and sleeping for five or six hours is taking its toll.
Have done nothing but work eat and sleep looking forward to Saturday morning two am and i can have a couple of days off , before the next two twelve hour shifts .

I have been watching a documentary on tv Kangaroo Dundee about a man living in the Australian outback near to Alice Springs, he lives in a tin shack in a compound that he built over a two and a half year period and he devotes his he looks after kangaroos who have been either injured or orphaned , he had to dig two and a half mile of trenching , dig out for over four hundred poles and erect steel mesh fencing to protect his herd , he feeds the joeys every four hours throughout the day and night , he works in a supermarket and washes buses for a local bus company to fund his life style , he has no toilet and no running water in his shack , he has devoted the last twenty years caring for these kangaroos and as a result of the documentary has received numerous marriage proposals and donations totalling £13,500 , he is a true hero and the kangaroo's respect love him as much as he loves them.

I have also been reading up on James Bowen he was a ex heroin making money for his next fix busking on the streets of London , he came across a ginger tom cat that had been attacked by either a dog or a urban fox , he adopted it paid the vet bill for the cats treatment ,   he named the cat Bob up and they are now inseparable , he takes the cat busking in the centre of London  with him and with the help of Bob his takings have tripled , he has withdrawn from using heroin and is now clean ,  he has written a book about his life with Bob and has so far  received £30,000 in royalties .

Two people the life's change for ever by being around and caring for animals both on the opposite side of the globe both would agree they life's will never be the same again makes you wonder.

FINGERS CROSSED

SUNDAY
Went for breakfast it was the best meal of the week by far , and i  couldn't finish what i had piled up on my plate there was plenty of onion potato gammon and cheese that got eaten , as always none of that got left it really makes the breakfast filling  all i need on top is beans and sausage,Its getting a routine now its so cheap we could not cook it ourselves for the price they charge.

Went to the Moors to Uppermill at Saddleworth looked at the estate agents Helen is convinced we can live there , who knows we will have to see what pans out , if we make forty thousand pounds that's around sixty two thousand dollars we would have enough to last us  for two to three years , that's  depending on the rent we have to pay and the weekly cost of living .

Living expenses obviously there would be food plenty of eggs for egg fried rice and omelet's cheese and onions along with  peppers mushroom and chicken and potato's we would have to be a on a limited spend each week and try to stay in budge
,Gas and electric hopefully this would be reduced as we be walking the moors most of the day specially in summer we be out the best part of the day and late in the evening

Would i have a car not sure if i packed my job in then no i wouldn't it be a expense we could not really afford the insurance and tax.

Mobile phone yes we both could not do with out a mobile phone after the contract was up i just get a pay as you go sim,

Internet who really this day and age could do without a Internet access it essential to our way of life as eating yes we would have to be online.

Once the money was gone if we had not secured jobs we would have to claim benefits until we gained employment this would be the last straw but we want to move for a different life to living in the city and its not about possessions its about a less stress full life

And i am sure .people have done lots more with less then what we will be starting out with the biggest decision and scariest  i have to make is do i try and carry on working and travel each day or resign from my job and take my chances if i was to continue to work which is the more likely ,   then yes ,i would need a car but my wage would cover the rent for our cottage or house and the expense of running the car form my monthly wage ,  i say its a good hours drive to and from work i start at two and finish at ten at night which in summer months would be no hassle the draw back is winter when it snows some of the roads are impassible maybe only for a few days but i would be snowed in.My thoughts are you always make it to work its getting home again or worse still only getting half way home then what.

MONDAY
We was up at eight Helen as an assessment to do if she is successful then she will be called in for a interview if she gets the job she will get a regular monthly salary ,  and this will result in us both having extra money to spend on the things we want which is always a good thing ,and  she will still do her readings either way.
It might mean we see less of each other through the week but we still have friday through to Monday and we can do more with the time we have go to more places on the coast and in the countryside guess it finding a balance what you have to do and what you need to do, so fingers crossed

ROUND IN CIRCLES

My Daughter is coming home after a year away she has only  another five weekends left in New Zealand then she flies back to the England , to her home city of  Leeds.I hope she some days returns to her travels and her days are not spent on the social without a job living in a crappy house or flat and reminiscing about her year spent abroad , i feel if she comes home she will regret it big time.

I went to work yesterday on my day off i got there at two in the afternoon i was suppose to do a twelve hour shift , at ten o clock a person came to take over who was not suppose to be turning up fcuking typical  i made the decision and went home ,  it cost me my day off and six hours overtime , but saying that  i was tired anyway ,  but was not impressed. At  least i got seven and a half hours overtime , and  i reckon could have stayed on  but didn't see the point in two of us being there.

I was suppose to be working nights for the week on the w/c 18th March found out yesterday it is the 18th of February which is this coming Monday , honestly if i did not need the money i would refuse to do it.

We had another viewing on the house today ,that's two Saturdays running , a lady came with her daughter and son to view it together they seemed impressed and said it was one of the nicer and better houses that they have viewed so fingers crossed all we need is one person to say yes cant be that hard .

Helen has a interview for a full time job on Monday so  fingers crossed she will get it ,  she has not had anyone for a reading for the last  few days ,  now she has two booked in for tonight that have confirmed by text  and three turning up tomorrow  ,we need these also  to turn up hopefully they will and we will have a influx of cash.

below is the observation wheel that travels the country it was in London for the Olympic games , it is currently in Leeds city center its £6.00 for a twelve minute ride , this is being promoted until April its close to where i work i will have to go on it not sure if its Helen's cup of tea it might be the only time that it is here in the city. We missed it when it was at Manchester and also at York we cant really not go when its in our city You can take a V.I.P pod capsule that has tinted windows and you get a bottle of champagne , its only been constructed a few days think i will give it a few weeks just  to make sure it stays on it's axis , pivot .some times it feels like i am  and my life is going round in circles now it will be.

UP THE REAR

I am working tomorrow on my day off , i will get seven and a half hours annual leave then thirteen hours at time and a half as i am working form midday Friday,  until two o clock Saturday morning ,tiring but worth it .

Someone went in to the back of  my car yesterday when i was out in the snow. My towing hook took the full impact of the driver behind me, his plastic bumper or fender  is no more. My tow hook got scratched ever so slightly , he was not amused he explained it was a mobility car , i explained that  he drove in to me and if it is  a mobility car they will fix it ,  seeing as there was no one injured it was pointless holding the traffic up further , with the snow there was cars wheel spinning and sliding all over and i was at the bottom of a hill , i thought it would be safer to get back in my car and drive off.

Helen fried some haddock fillets she whisked up some batter and the five filets were shallowed fried in the  frying pan we had them with hand cut chips , bread and butter , a cheap enough meal that was gorgeous , in the afternoon we had made a simple sponge cake with a butter cream filling fresh baked again gorgeous , Helen had a reading so we topped up on gas and electric.

Living like we do wouldn't suit everyone her son has been staying with us he is seventeen he likes it with us he likes the atmosphere and he likes that we chill and rarely argue with each other that we agree more than we disagree that we smile and laugh more times then we sad or down  , i think he thinks we are bohemians when really we are just trying to survive the best we can , next time round i am going to be minimalistic in the true sense of the word .

MORE SNOW

Its snowing again and its coming down pretty fast and its all white once again , if it gets too bad Helen's people she has booked in for readings are going to be staying in doors , if the snow gets deep it put people off travelling or even going out , i am off all week  when i go back i am doing five twelve hour shifts and i can take the car bliss happy days.

Be even happier when its warmer sunnier and we don't have to worry about the heating being on .
I dropped Liam Helen's son of at work a few miles away the snow is getting worse the road i have to go done is well busy the snow is going to be a nightmare and increase the traveling time there and back he was going to catch the bus i said we drop him of and pick him up typical good intentions always end up costing me , i should learn to keep my mouth shut.

I am only online due to the fact i am tethering using my i-phone didn't pay the Internet bill cant afford everything , some months if i get a crap wage and  its a struggle budgeting and something has to give , next month i have loads of extra overtime in should be my best wage in over a year , the month after should be a reasonable one as well.

I hope the person viewing our house Saturday puts in a offer it be time to sell up move out and move on.

BORING

Another boring day Helen did not get up rill after two this afternoon , might as well be at work cant do anything or buy anything or go anywhere half interesting at the moment its existing rather then living .
Someone has booked a viewing for the house on Saturday please someone buy it least will be out of Bramley not sure where but it wont be in this vicinity ,it want to live near the canal again no less than 500 metres away.

Downloaded all of the Terminator movies and the Matrix trilogy to watch as long as they are in avi format i can load them and  play them of my usb drive via my DVD player , other wise any other format i have to convert them if they are mp4 or mvk files i use Pazera free to convert them to avi files , one programme  for each file type and it takes around 30 mins , ages ago i use to rip compress and burn films that i hired on DVD format from Blockbusters , but I-Tunes , Netflix, and I Love Films have killed a lot of the trade for the DVD outlet shops , and i have not hired a film in over seven years .

We made pancakes cracked nine eggs put equal amount of milk to flour mix and fry in hot oil in the frying pan . Helen puts vinegar and sugar on hers don't ask me why its weird combination obvious she likes it she says its just like putting lemon and sugar on , i just  had Maple syrup on mine  , boring me i know,

Did a hour practicing my calligraphy, i reckon i have to practice one word in one style until its second nature if it takes days weeks or months even.

DREAMER

It was snowing last night we only had a few millimeters , now in the afternoon its looks like a summers day the sun is out and its shinning bright.
Helen as a interview for a job if she gets it she will be earning a regular income and life will be easier even if it only lasts until we sell the house , she needs things luxury items Ugg boots , leather bag ,a Pandora bracelet and charms and i need things mainly a  laptop and a half decent compact camera plus life would just be a lot easier if there was two regular guaranteed wages coming in at the end of each month.

Helen's youngest son Liam has been living with us for the last eight days , i don't think it will be permanent , it cant be if  we are selling the house.
He will at some stage will have to return to Helen's ex husband house or make the decision to  live independently ,he works but he does not earn anywhere enough to be totally financial independent , but i guess if him and a couple of good mates had the same notion it could be a possibility , he only works a few days a week for minimum wage as he is only seventeen.

I had a dream last night we was living near mountains with green hills and valleys in a small village somewhere in a place i did not recognise but it was idyllic , loads of work friends had come over to visit us and check out our home we were all sat out drinking and chatting and  they all was jealous of our life style , we were not rich as i  went to the off licence with a load of pound coins to buy beer i had the expression it was the last of our money but regardless we were very happy and they was  feed up that they lived in the city, sometimes dreams seem so real its a shame to leave them .

I have not had a omelet for a few days now and i am hungry , i need food in a hurry  its just after one in the afternoon i was up at half past nine and so far have just had three cups of coffee i keep having visions of my omelet cooking in the frying pan guess i need to make this a reality before my stomach thinks my throat's been cut.

R.E.M & R.I.P

Saturday
Mr Zeek called round to view the house with his girlfriend they where only about mid twenties and looked very impressed with the house whether this will translate in to them buying our we will have to see.He was already planing on taking a wall out to have one massive room.
So could he be the one that connects the dots and makes us sell up move on and start again it will happen , but the question is when.

Went to look at Laptops in the White Rose shopping center in Leeds ,  Asus is also looking a good buy and its cheaper than the Samsung , the processor is not as good spec as the Samsung and not much more than a pair of Ugg boots Helen was looking at.

Sunday
very lazy did not get up until twelve plan on doing nothing , its forecast to snow don't think it will three foot if it is England will come to a halt.

Well off all next week might have to work the Friday but  will get paid 7,5 hours holiday pay because i am on annual leave and another  13 hours at time and a half , i am working twelve o clock midday  until 2 o clock the following Saturday morning , this happens with another two days i have off annual leave , that's nearly two weeks wages for working three days cant refuse plus free parking its a no brainer.

Chatting with my daughter via Facebook will skype her on Tuesday morning.

Watching David Attenborough's  Africa got all six episodes to watch we both like natural history might make the house feel warmer while we watch it.

TIRED OUT

Monday
Totally tired its been a shit start to the week ,i have got to stay at work until two and  I had enough by  six.
I wanted to get in my car and go home I have had enough of trying to cover jobs because of sickness and annual leave , its a managers job so why leave it to me.its like locking the stable door after the fcuking horse as gone. Why cant I have a job I love a job where its exciting well paid and a half decent environment a decent canteen and at least a few perks and chance of promotion a company car and travelling.
Arrived home my tea supper was in the microwave Helen was in bed it was nearly half past two in the morning , I nuked the food  steak pie potatoes peas and Yorkshire puddings,
then i went to bed another fun day in the life of Bob.

Tuesday
Got up at eleven another two hours I will be back at work same shit different day , life goes on  we have a viewing for the house this coming Saturday hopefully a offer will follow and we can up root and start again debt free and With money in the bank not too much to ask for is it.
I got home just after two Helen had left me some cooked fish and some potato chips for frying ,she was already in bed i ate and went to bed

BACK TO WORK ONCE MORE

We did not go to bed until four in the morning playing stupid online games via facebook , we still got up at half past eight to go for breakfast at 11TH Earl we  totally pigged out i more than Helen ,i  had three sausages four rashers of bacon loads of baked beans and gammon and potatoes with onion and cheese , by not having a drink of coffee it was way too weak last time it was like dishwater ,  its pre-made in a peculator by not having a hot drink it saved me £2.00 so breakfast for me was only £3.99 .on the way home we went to buy milk and biscuits double packet of  Nice and two packets of malted milk , we then we went home and went back to bed we got up just after three in the afternoon it was a waste of a day off really we should be more disciplined and go to bed at a reasonable hour the trouble was we were not tired .

Helen has a reading booked in for six tonight , and all i plan on doing is having a hot bath having tea then maybe just go to be for a early night , if that's at tall possible .

I had a pear today and a tangerine the other day i have not had a pear for ages i use to eat a kiwi every day i should eat more fruit roll on summer will get loads of fresh fruit in winter all you want is stem , pies and curries .

Work tomorrow going back after a break does not phase me , i have only to work another five days then i have another nine days of sometimes work breaks the monotony of life and gives purpose and reason . being of work is ok if you can go places and spend money , eat out go for drinks and go shopping for goodies , like a speaker for my i-phone and Google that i can carry in my bag for work , a Leatherman knife , A Lamy safari fountain pen , a new Moleskin note book , a Diary and a Filofax , i need a new silver chain i broke the one i wore for the last five years , not sure why but i fancy a small silver skull ring Keith Richards and Mr  Johnny Depp wear them ,

In 1978 the celebrated London goldsmiths David Courts and Bill Hackett were working on a small scale silver sculpture of a human skeleton. Using a real skull for reference they carved a perfect miniature replica which they then moulded. When the hollow wax skull was removed from its mould the inspiration for the ring was born. Further experimentation led to the creation of the original silver skull ring. At the same time an invitation arrived from Keith Richards to his birthday party in New York – so Bill and David decided that the new ring would make a fantastic present. From the moment he put it on his finger, the magic began and he has worn it ever since

20:15
Not had anything to eat since breakfast i am not starving but think i need to ea some food  before i  go to bed .

21.05
cooked another omelet its easy i like them they are quick tasty filling and i have all the ingredients and its only cooking using one ring and one pan , i have also on the  plus side a bottle of Budweiser not as good as a bottle of pear but at least its alcoholic beverage could be colder .

21.21
Helen is now cooking a omelet , monkey see monkey do , or rather monkey smells monkey wants food i did offer she don't trust me she thinks she the better cook.

Listening to The Weeknd  "Echoes of Silence"and "House of Balloon's"

IN THE PIC

its after midnight so i guess its the start of the weekend Helen is playing bejeweled blitz on facebook after playing candy crush and  the dog is amusing itself its playing with a rubber hoop and tennis ball she holds the hoop in her mouth and flicks the tennis ball all over the room she will bring it to me and i will kick it she will play this for hours.
I have just cooked a omelette with mixed  peppers, onion, ham, and red Leicester cheese only takes around  ten minutes to prepare and cook but less time  to eat it , i just had it on its own no chips this is me being healthy Helen did not want one but did comment on how nice it smelled whilst it was cooking  ,i checked the Euro lottery all we got was one star pathetic just have to keep on trying , i guess if we deserve a win we will get one ,one day or maybe never a small win would be appreciated .

Its going to be Valentines day soon i have the whole week off will be skint so i cant see us doing a great deal  plus the weather wont be that great , i go back to work this coming Monday but  only for a week then its another nine days of and chill out time once again, after this week's break i will still have another  two weeks leave to take , then its the start of the new financial year  and will  i get over six weeks annual leave credited to me.

Today we went to the cobblers in Pudsey they are a dying breed Helen bought some boots and they are too tight they where reduced by £150 she got them a few weeks ago from All Saints there is a spray that stretches the leather you spray inside the boot and wear the boot or shoe for ten minutes and it will stretch the leather the spray was £3 ,  to put them on his mechanical stretcher cost £5 we paid for both . we will pick them up Monday hopefully they will fit.

Rest of the day crap was gone before it started Helen did not get up until around twelve she had a reading tonight i have seven psychopath's to watch to try and start reading a John Lennon biography and listen to Jake Bugg a English guitar song writer who went on tour as support for Oasis another great English band from Manchester.

19:15
I have not practised any calligraphy today i did last night one thing i have noticed its easy to miss letters out of words , if its some fancy script i am using your eyes don't always pick up on misspellings , if you could see how many errors spell checker finds on here guess its no big  surprise .

21.00
Just went to the shop bought gas and electric its bitter cold outside although at one stage today it was sunny and quite warm , didn't last next week its supposed to get even colder. we have decided to go for breakfast tomorrow and totally pig out i am going to make sure i eat enough that will last me till early evening hopefully it will be relatively empty last time i went i took sausages home for Pip.

22.00
just made a coffee going to watch a film not that tired but we might go to bed before one am tonight this morning whatever time it will be warmer in bed .

A photography friend took the picture today at Whitby ,  a fishing village on Yorkshire's east coast , somewhere we have been to a few times over the years and will go to again soon , as there is a great fish restaurant there called the Magpie .
Download the picture below and  zoom in and see the ghostly apparition , the back streets are hundreds of years old.
Bram Stoker stayed Whitby in 1890 and discovered the name Dracula , Lewis Carroll and Charles Dickens also stayed in the fishing village and a monastery was founded in ad 657 ,one of the very first photographers also lived in Whitby he was the iconic photographer Frank Meadow Sutcliffe who recoded life in the fishing port he also did portraits and recorded pictures of the churches and Abbeys on Yorkshire coastline  through his camera , using 15 inch by 12 inch glass pane he died at the age of 87 in 1941 ,if your interested in the history of photography you will know all about this great gentleman.

WRITING THIS AND THAT

THURSDAY
The postman left a card telling me to pick up my package from collection office why  don't you just knock on the Fcuking door and i will open it and take my package from you retard, guessing it is my power lead for laptop as the office shuts at midday i will have to go in the morning and collect it.

12.30p.m
We both went to Louise's Hair salon our good friend for a hair cut Helen has her hair dyed blonde , so i go first it takes all of five minutes then i leave , then i will return to pick Helen up in a few hours so it is chill out time.

I saw my camera in cash converters i know its mine i can pay a deposit and buy it back when i get paid next or do i leave it and get a totally  new camera will sleep on it it works out cheaper than getting a new camera .

Been practicing my calligraphy writing set i have to draw it out in pencil first its too hard to do it all free hand and to get it right first time , but it is improving gradually i am using Vivaldi font which i have on office 2007 Old English is hard i have done a few letters i really want to learn Black Letter but a step at a time , i am watching a book on Ebay its Calligraphy for Dummies should be more than suitable then , i have posted a picture o the lettering this is my first attempt its bad i know but i am not pretending otherwise but hopefully i will get better. Also i have downloaded new fonts which i have installed on Microsoft office 2007

Friday
Last day off then its back to 14.00 p.m  to 03.00 a.m shifts only for the first two days my line manager sent me a text message seeing as i can use the car i said yes .

Picked the laptop lead from the collections office £9.99 it works fine but its weird how the main lead fits the lead would be better if it exited the opposite way , saying that it works fine and will more than likely last longer then the laptop its plugged into.

I dropped Helen off at her mates house it her birthday and  i charged her £1.00 so i could buy a Mars bar on the way home will cost her a lot more if she wants picking up which she will do , a  hideous chuckle to myself .
17.25
Helen is cooking tea we are having Turkey dinosaur's cheesy chips and peas we are grown ups if nothing else followed by sponge and custard we have better food to eat but we are eating this by choice.

YEARS AND MINUTES

My Son is twenty years old today how time flies i remember being his age its was a great period in time hopefully he is having a great day, my thoughts are with him. I sent him a message just before midnight.
Pointing out as if he did not know  that in a few minutes he no longer be a teenager . I guess Being twenty is good because all you want to be is twenty one , and when your twenty one you think you will always be that age. Thirty forty seems forever away and  fifty and sixty well its pointless even thinking about being  that age its too far off  , the trouble is no its not , as it tends to creep up on you week by week month by month year by year , i am still not settled and i am still making plans and still making changes , as the saying goes " life is what happens when you are busy making plans".

Found my Dragon belt this is quite a few years old i reckon at least 15 years i use to take my son and daughter in to town regular on a Saturday i use to go to the market to buy cheap tobacco of a dodgy man in in the cafe who had a extremely large shopping bag full of duty free Golden Virginia ,  i would also buy my regular  tattoo magazines if they were due out , two i regular bought each month were Tattoo Planet and Skin Deep ,   i bought the buckle one Saturday morning on such a trip ,  and a leather worker on the outside market stalls  had an available belt to fit it ,  i think the buckle was around £20 and is pewter , and the belt £8.00 , i think i am now wearing it on the next hole or two up as i have expanded not just my knowledge over the years , i have not worn it for ages but it's a very good strong sturdy belt ,i think i will  start wearing it more form now on or at least when i am wearing jeans.

12:30 p.m
went to Meadow Hall Sheffield it was extremely windy and the car got blown of track a few times then it started to rain and sleet  , we was only going because Helen wanted to buy some black pencils with swarovski crystal  on top that she saw last time we went but couldn't be arsed to get saw .

Stopped at Starbucks got a Venti white chocolate mocha and a chocolate chip shortbread , we needed to sit down as my right leg for some reason was hurting and started to collapse every so often whilst walking  it just liked died on me and folded it was weird i had no control over it  , reckon its something to do with muscle spasm hopefully it wont last.

Bought Helen a ring with a cross on a round disc she liked it and it was only £14 i have bought her a ring from the same shop the last time we went  which was double the price , my coloured ink cartridges for my pen came in the post today i am still waiting for the laptop power lead to arrive  hopefully it will  be tomorrow.

 20:14
Helen is busy tonight until after eight or nine so i guess we will be eating late , as  i cooked a big fry up this morning i am not exactly starving , starving ,  but will need something  to eat , something cooked might have sausage and chips they are real pork sausages i bought not your Wall's or Richmond's but are handmade and are 99% meat you can taste the difference and can tell straight away when you cut into them i  might have sausage and mash with gravy and English mustard simple and nice .

I found this online and are available on  Ebay it's a hard drive case to fit my 4S  it will be the next thing i will buy for around £6.99 with fpp , in my opinion looks good and appropriate i know it wont be everyone's  cup of tea (Helen) but i like it .

Priscilla Parsnip is still growing but has gone a bit lop sided i think she needs planting on will have to give it a go will do this tomorrow will keep her in doors its to cold outside and a high risk of snow and frost .

Anyway here's  hoping That  my Son Guy had a great birthday i  will call him later to discuss his day , i  hope he has a few more score years  and ten , the way i was walking today and in pain , i know i wont be around forever  , mortality is good if your twenty the older you get the less you want it , not that i plan on checking out just yet,

CHEAPER NOW

My laptop is getting worse the screen just went totally black , i had to power down and reboot no idea as to why  it rebooted as normal no critical  messages from windows so what the fcuk , the sound is playing up ,and as been for a few months it went from being ok to freezing and screaming  for a few seconds then the sound or music starts again where it stopped  it can be fine for five minutes or more  then it reoccurs when the sound is acting ok its as it should be,  all normal and  no issues i have down loaded the  latest drivers for the sound card to no avail fcuking pc's it even does this playing back movies , you tube and all the various programmes i have for playing films and sound

Its getting to its fourth birthday and has served me well but its a DELL "don't ever last long " but its in with the old and out with the old  , and  i think now its way past its best before date and its fast approaching its  use  by now date is coming up even faster i reckon , i still need to get my desk top repaired i think i will have to take it in next month and get it fixed all the nights and unsocial hours i worked last month should easily pay for it fixing along with a faster cpu and a new wireless adaptor.

My second Pilot Parallel calligraphy pen came yesterday its the orange top 2.4 mm nib i have also ordered coloured ink cartridges not sure why as all you get is one of each of the twelve colours which are good for a few a4 sheets of paper depending on letter size of course , i am still not brilliant certain letters i can do its trying to find a style of my own that's unique to me but having some type of similar font guess i should master two or three different fonts then take it from there, i have had a calligraphy pen for years and go through stages , i should still be doing my para cord lessons but they also stopped if your interested go to Stormdranes blog for the cord and Theosone for writing , both masters at what they do and both are you tube.

Hoping  my new laptop power lead comes today Helen as the same laptop as me we got them together hers is red mine black so we are sharing the one lead not a major issue.

Helen had a reading last night and one this morning at eleven who comes to see a psychic before its dark weird if you ask me a time and place but he or she who pays the piper etc.

what else am i doing well apart from Tantric sex sessions experimenting with mind altering drugs and living in a cave for six months to find myself i ,  i have started to read up on John Lennon i really want to know about his days after the Beatles especially when he was living in New York with Yoko i have his Anthology box sheet but need to have a epub book or two for this period

Also  have been looking at the best cheapest laptop and best cheapest compact digital camera this is a hard task as its amazing what you can get for your money these days there is only one requirement they have to be new .Fuji film FinePix F660 maybe for a camera can now buy this for £99 16 meg pixels and 15x optical zoom a few months ago this cost £179 a £80 saving and what i always say to people is Fuji only make cameras they tend to get it right .

Laptop well not sure its a harder task as for a extra £75 0r £125 its a total different proposition as to  what you can get regarding spec etc what i have  got to remember is its going to be better than what i have and its not going to last more than four years so what do i require well large storage this has a 320 gig h/d 3 gig of memory and a Pentium dual core 2.2o ghz processor ,  so i guess a least a  500 gig hard drive ,  and hopefully a faster cpu and minimum 4 gig of ram .

The laptop is a Samsung series 3 and not a Dell  it is cheaper than the one i am using now by £125 , it has a Intel Pentium cpu 1,3 , 6 gig of memory and 500 gig hard drive and is running windows 8 ,  64 bit , another plus and  its battery life last twice as long than what i have now , and at just  £379 that's well under five hundred for both and  i bet in another few months it will be £320 if not less cheap as chips that's micro not the potato kind.

Well all the snow as gone and it has been sunny for part of the day  , but it looks like showers are about to start as the skies are really dark , so  time to go watch a film i think with a hot cup of coffee a slice of cheese cake it feels like late afternoon its just gone twelve .

Helen's reading took nearly three hours now the oven is loaded with a joint of beef roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings we are also having mash and gravy made with Marmite so its rich dark and beefy we will eat then turn the heating on and watch films "The Hobbit" and "Nowhere" a film about the life of John Lennon  and Imagine a documentary film made by John and Yoko.

NED NOT DEAD

We were supposed to be cooking a joint of beef and all the trimmings  but we decided to roast it tomorrow instead , need to get some Horse radish sauce , anyway Helen as a reading tonight and it would have been pushing it to get it cooked eaten and the house cleaned  ,  she is in bed at the moment to catch up on sleep and because its warmer.I tend not to feel the cold as much as her.

Its grey ,cold , wet and freezing  and we don't have the Central heating on  until it's later in the afternoon  until its dark when the temperature will drop even further.

We have to  live like this because  the price and  cost of natural gas and that we owe over £850 for gas we previously used and not paid for , hence the reason we are on a meter , now we have to pay up front pay before we use and burn so  no money no gas , not enough pounds credited then it shuts off no fuel coming through , so  that then means there is no hot water for washing shaving etc  we can still cook as the oven is electric its only the hobs that are gas , another reason to invest in a George Foreman grill and a microwave oven least we have the Internet and cups of coffee to keep me from going insane.

I have done very little today  i been watching "The Walking Dead" i have finished season one and are about to start on season two in between making cheese and chicken tikka toasted sandwiches and surfing Tumblr and You Tube when Helen's reading turns up at around half past seven tonight the heating will be on and  i will go upstairs to our bedroom  out of the way get on top of the bed and watch a episode or two from season two on my Nexus 7 using my headphones.

When i lived at home i spent each evening at home up in my room Listening to music or watching tv i use to take a flask of coffee with me so i wouldn't have to venture down , my tv was colour and my parents was monochrome black and white , i had tv console i connected through the tv ariel that allowed me to play the tennis video game Pong , that had been available in arcades but was no available for home use too , via a top box and hand held controllers it was high tech , i also had a decent stereo with a Rotel amp and tuner which i four speakers wired speakers in to it along with  my cassette deck to get a half decent play back.

When i got older and lived in my first house i spent a lot of time in the bed room rather than the living room i ad my Sony sound system and decent tv up in my room where down stairs had a crappy television and stereo , so i don't mind chilling in the bed room one thing we don't have since i have lived with Helen is a tv in the bedroom nor do we drink coffee in the bedroom i use to always take a coffee upstairs to bed and watch tv for a hour or so before going to sleep.

Its getting darker now it will be dark soon it is twenty minutes to four raining and still windy only difference is the heating will be coming on soon and it will be inky black outside rather than grey and the street lights will be on and tomorrow will be another day .

Listening to -  "The Water boys"

Watching - "Waking Ned " a film set in the Isle of Mann

Wanting - Asus Lamborghini laptop

Needing - Heat and Warmth and a long hot summer

GOING NOWHERE DOING NOWT

All the snow as gone we had loads of rain and when we woke it was back to green grass and green hedges when i looked out of the window this morning.

i had two slices of toasted fruit bread a bowl of cheerio's and a vanilla coffee whilst watching the pilot episode of the sopranos .

One thing we forgot to buy last night was toilet tissue and a original old fashioned bars of soap, we went shopping and  bought extra hold hair gel , deodorant , shower gel same Lynx Apollo  ,shaving gel Nivea its the best for lathering and mint  mouthwash toothpaste pump and and a couple of bars of dove soap.

Went to see a old friend of Helen's living in Wakefield there is two addresses in the same 2 mile radius both named the  same street  both have identical post code sat nav took us to the wrong house , they say they cant order anything of the Internet because chances are this other house gets it how shit is that would have to sell up as if i couldn't not buy anything online would be no good what so ever , wouldn't mind someone else getting all my bills though.

We went to our favorite fish restaurant Murgatroy's near to the airport at Yeadon  and had a large fish and chips with baked beans bread and butter we did not eat them all we never do they are just too filling .

Going to have and extreme lazy day tomorrow hope it rains all day going nowhere doing nothing .
