THE WHEEL

Watched Django Unchained it was one of the better films i have seen although its was brutal in parts it was worth seeing , I specially liked the 100 black coffins song featured in the film sung by Rick Ross.

We got up quite early we was meeting my two sisters and their partners to go on to the Leeds eye . I think its location could have been better as it was at the bottom of the city rather than the middle which would have given you a better 360 degree view , i think it was just under 50 meters in height and we completed three turns , it was ok Helen did not like it she does not like Leeds city center and was not impressed by the views which was the roof tops of Leeds when all said and done.It is here in the centre until April

The windows could have done with cleaning some of the pictures i took are smeared they should have done open air pods least you would get a better picture.

After we went for breakfast to  a old pub near to the Parish church on the way we saw a coach offering fares to London for £1.50 just one way , Breakfast was good no complaints after we went to another of the city's oldest buildings the Corn Exchange , now its shops and cafes it used to be extremely busy the rents are quite high and a few of the shops vacant.

Below the Palace pub food is very good and reasonable priced two breakfast including drinks £10.00 not as good value as our normal haunt the 11th earl but it was nicely prepared and decent size portions i could have done with more toast and a few more beans.

A skeleton outside one of the shopping the Corn exchange this is a tattoo and piercing parlour not sure how good the tats are they are quite a few new tattoo places in Leeds compared to a few years ago'

The interior of the Corn exchange this building as a domed roof and it used to be heaving with shoppers now there is a few on a weekend but  less through out  the week it is slowly improving and more shops have opened ,  its now owned by a major  bank , they put the rents up sky high and a lot of the shops folded  , but now i think its what ever deal you can get yourself at the time which determines what rent you end up paying.

We called in at the Sony shop they had a 82" hd tv it was gorgeous and the picture quality unbelievable , it was so clear , so i  jokingly i said to the salesman i would take two , he told me the price of one it was priced at £25.000 , Christ unbelievable my first house i lived in cost only £10.000 it was many years ago and the same small terrace  house now is around £75,000 the price of three tv's give it a few years they will be a few thousand at most , need to be a lottery winner , football player or film or rock star,
