HIGH RISE

Raining again was going to take the dog out Bailey then come home and cook a full English breakfast I stopped of at the local all night garage last night and bought some sausage and black pudding .I can't be arsed talking Bailey out in the rain either of us enjoy getting wet .gain

Bailey is limping again went back to the vets another fifty quid he did get better not sure why he might have hurt himself either jumping off or on the sofa we went out came home and he was picking his leg up hopefully more rest or its a cost of 2.5 k to get an operation .

Bought a cold shoe mount for my Hohem gimbal so I now I can mount both a microphone and led light  should I wish .

Also looking at a editing software program Flimora it looks very good and a lot cheaper than Final Cut Pro .

SATURDAY - Went over to Helen's sons new flat he is on the ninth floor , you ca see for miles,  first thing I'd buy , a decent pair of binoculars .He needs carpets throughout and plenty of white emulsion he even has a small balcony get a few plants and a patio table and chair be eating out alfresco if you don't mind the pigeon shit .To be fair the flat is fairly clean the bathroom looks quite new white and clean it is double glazed and has no signs of damp .

MONDAY - Took delivery of the green shed it came in the morning I was out getting six paving slabs for the shed to sit on .It was getting dropped off as I got back to the house there was no time to start the shed build .I need a hand grinder to cut three of the pavers .

TUESDAY - Bought a angle grinder and a pack of discs from Tool station just over £40 its always handy to have a disc cutter .Cut the pavers was easy enough dug out the soil and laid the paving .Had to remove three Ikea blue bags of soil got the pavers quite level .

Started the shed build screwed the back panel and one side panel to the base , then the opposite side panel then the two front panels then both apex pieces finally the two roof panels . I also got the two roof  roof panels on and felted , had to stop to get ready for work at six .

WEDNESDAY - Hinged the door and fitted the hasp and staple fitted the side infill pieces and the wood edges that hold the felt down . emptied Helens shed and moved hers alone then pushed the new shed into place , had to change the older shed door to open the opposite way just spited it top to bottom needs the paint touching up where the old fittings where  , both sheds in place need to get some more timber for shelve supports and shelving that will be tomorrow .

THURSDAY - Bought wood to fit out both sheds with shelves the new shed  is just having one wide shelf the old one shelves on three sides rain stops play will have to wait for a day without any rain might be a while this is the U.K .

FLAT PACKED

Been busy the last couple of days as the furniture flat packs from Ikea arrived Wednesday afternoon we had ordered  a eight drawer unit for our bedroom as can't have enough drawer space and a day bed with three drawers  that converts  into a double bed all you literally do is just pull the base out as its on wheels ,  This is in Helen office work room .There was no major issues assembling wise all went together as the instructions did not have that many spare bits fixings left over and nothing was short or missing both units are solid wood and in white .We will have to move the desk that you see in the picture when we want to pull the bed out but that's only once every blue moon should anyone want to stay over at any time .

The drawers below I have the top right drawer and the drawer below that one  I do have more drawers but that's all I am allocated still I am only a man with limited needs .

Anyone who has never bought an Ikea piece of furniture because they think they are cheaply thrown together or are not solid or will fall apart when moved trust me they are not I have never had any issues with furniture flat packs from Ikea .

I ended up buying a large  Bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier's "Le Beau " very nice I have been wearing Jean Paul for years .

Getting back to the car park was a nightmare we didn't realise the lifts for the car park where located only on one floor we went to every flor and asked various staff all telling us different places to go we finally got out and back to the car only to find out to pay you had to go back to the first floor , I finally paid and we headed home .

We called are local Pub The Boshaw Trout and ordered Sunday dinner I had the roast beef and Helen the roast pork the picture below is before it was covered with a rich dark brown gravy it hit the spot I love beef with a nice horse radish sauce .

Ghost hunting gets us out and about I do prefer indoor locations the weather does not matter  and its usually warmer and sounds are more easily defined with no hollowing wind or birds and other small animals making weird sounds and less ambient noises from traffic and other people near by .
