Slept till midday its the longest i have slept in three days was feeling rough at three o clock yesterday morning the worst i have felt since i started doing night shifts , six o clock couldn't come quick enough.
Helen made her first purchase on I-tunes she bought a audio book by John Edward a psychic medium titled "Infinite Quest" for £8.95 which was cheaper than the hardback book , you are allowed to burn it to disc seven times now there's a quest.
Be glad when its friday we have bought some dark oak wood stain for the floor boards down stairs kitchen dinner and living room , and some black floor paint for the floors and landing upstairs they have all already been done a few years ago and now need to be re coated.
Need to decide what i am going to do with the rest of the paracord i have lying around might make a tie back for my leather filofax and use a eye and skull button method to fasten it.

Writing this at three in the morning it's not too bad I don't feel that bad this early Wednesday morning it confuses me some time starting the day before and finishing a day later does not make the week any shorter or the weekend arrive any quicker mores the pity.
I am looking forward to the drive home and going to bed Helen hates being alone and takes our little jack Russell and lets her sleep on our bed she is happy to sleep at the bottom and is no trouble she is very petite and takes very little room, as long as the bedroom door is shut so the cat does not wander in , it would be chaos and fur would be flying if it was to happen . Was in bed for six and was up again at ten will grab a couple more hours hopefully this afternoon as i a start again at half past seven tonight.
Helen attended a job interview this afternoon for a sewing machinist job , it will be her first interview in over twelve years scary , its not too far from where we live and a taxi there and back wouldn't be that much , and on a plus side it be around a extra thousand pounds a month which will make a big difference to our lifestyle.
I have been missing the seaside i want to go to the coast get up real early and drive and get parked up before the rest of the people have left home then be the last one leaving the east coast is nearest but the beaches are not that great the largest beaches are on the west coast Blackpool is seven miles long and at Southport the tide goes out for a thousand yards or more but they are both located that bit further but only by 30 miles or so.

Half way through my shift last night i was completely knackered tired and strangely enough yawning which i rarely do yet come this morning jumped in to bed and few hours later i am awake , i was awake before my sister phoned .
Ended up going in the car to a Subway deli and i ordered a meatball and cheese with red onions and a large coca cola with a white chocolate cookie when i got home i laid down on the bed and dropped of for a couple of hours hopefully tonight will not drag as much as it did last night roll on six am.
Its still sunny not as warm today and there is more clouds its forecast to rain tomorrow i hope it decides not to i like the sun would settle for more breeze instead of rain.
For the last for nights i have had battered fish and Mexican wedges done in the oven with grated cheese and sweet chili sauce it works out at about seventy five pence to feed me lol , fish is on offer four for £2.00 and wedges are 99p a bag thrifty or what

SUNDAY
Went to the moors again on the way went to Starbuck's to get a strawberry frappuccino
when i looked online via my I=phone i discovered it was dyed red using bugs as a food colouring or dye cochineal extract is being used which is in essence is dried up bugs , but its got to be fit for human consumption , so sod it i like it any how and i will continue to like them regardless , i was getting brain chill be nice to try a banana flavored frap.
Pip found this injured bird i am no twitching twitcher but i think its a young raven it had a slightly damaged wing , i cut down a plastic bottle and filled it full of water so at least it had something to drink we had some crust left off some sandwiches we left that on the ground within each reach hopefully it could hop down seeing that it wouldn't take any from my hand , although it did let me stroke it without getting scared ,we left it perched where it was hopefully its wing didn't look too bad hopefully it will fly away home.
Drove to Uuppermill Saddleworth village and got a pizza to take out from a restaurant chicken and smoked bacon with sun dried tomatoes and spinach with buffalo cheese excellent whilst it was cooking went to a mini supermarket and bought two ice cold cans of coca coal a regular and a cherry , brain chill again yippee hopefully minus the bugs

The weather is still hot clear skies and very little breeze its cooler enough to go to sleep on a night still , but by mid morning its quite stifling it was hotter in parts of England yesterday than Hawaii.
Evey body on the streets are either eating ice creams or drinking ice cold water or from starbucks a ice cold frappuccinos i fancy trying a strawberry fling as above they just look very summertime.
It was hot on the moors at Saddleworth although there was a strong breeze blowing which made walking uphill all that bit easier . we made a full loaf of wholemeal egg mayo sarnies i had one and a packet of crisps it was a waste of food it was too hot to eat .

Yesterday was the hottest day by far specially in our sub office where there is no windows no air con no draughts no exchange of air circulating its a sweat box the best thing in there is the fridge a sit gets my sparkling fruit flavored bottled water chilled within a couple of hours usually kiwi and strawberry and ice cold in another couple .
think i will buy some ice bags more charcoal and firelighters a Small electric fan for the bedroom hopefully a silent running one , and some wet wipes , as the weather is supposed to be hot all week and its hopefully the start of summer.
bought some mince beef for a chili tomorrow night and some chili sauce mix and some chicken pieces for tonight's tea cooked on the George foreman with fries and baked beans need a lemon cheese cake for desert.
to watch i have fantastic four , batman , iron man , the incredible hulk and Spiderman wicked have reverted back to my school days as a youngster i thought the original batman and robin the best programme on tv and when the first batman film came out couldn't believe how it had evolved been hooked ever since.

Its just ten minutes after midnight and my eyes are heavy and i feel tired i want to lay down in a cool dark bedroom on a comfy bed and have a decent nights sleep .
Finally got up quite early with Helen went to Kirstall abbey for another walk around the ruins , to think how the monks lived was quite bizarre it was has bad i guess has any boot camp why they didn't pack up an leave i don't know , it was apparent from reading about the monks it was hard bleeding work cold , under feed and waking up at all hours to go and pray and complete sexual abstinence Then there was the three vows of poverty, chastity and obedience to contend with guaranteed piss you of even further .
They have finally opened the roof garden at work it a view of the city can be seen in virtually every direction.it covers the corner of the building in a L-SHAPE and cost a lot of money to fund by take heart on one condition its a no smoking zone.
The photo was taken with my I-phone and the silver building on the skyline right of centre is Leeds building Bridgewater Place , i had a apartment paid for on the 13th floor a few years ago just has it was being finished but we never moved in.

Well its now Monday and the weekend is over , rumours this week is going to be good weather getting both sunnier and hotter ,hopefully they are right .
i have no real summer clothing i need to get some light weight canvas trousers and some turquoise blue t-shirts to make a change from white.
Not sure what holidays i am taking this year be the first time i am not working two jobs getting days off from both use to be hard work no , such luck now its just the one place of work.
Doing days rest of this week 14.00 p.m till 22.00 p.m then i have a week on nights again , I like working nights its quite and dark and less of a hassle its also extra pay which end of the day its what we all work for money.
really trying to find a decent gripping book to read got load son i-phone cant seem to hold my attention for mote than a couple of chapters.atm i am reading about Chris Kyle American sniper , Americans most lethal sniper and its holding my interest think i will finish this no problem.
Tonight when i got in i had something for tea i have not had for in years , fish cakes chips and beans and to be quite honest they was not half bad .

well its twenty past two in the morning the dog is fast asleep as Helen does job applications and updates her C.V.
Been messaging my Daughter on face book she found out today that her boyfriend back in the U.K is currently at H.M.P Armley Leeds ,and has been handed down a five year prison sentence for illegal possession of cocaine quite a bit of the white stuff actually , and to make it worse it was not his first offence , needless to say he will hopefully only serve half that so might be out in two and a half years if he can be a good lad whilst banged up , he spends a lot of the time in the gym , not much else to do .
above Armley prison/jail the gaol opened in 1847 . The prison was a site of execution (by hanging) from 1847 until 1961 The final execution was that of Zsiga Pankotia, by Harry Allen for the murder of Eli Myers in a house burglary in the city's affluent Roundhay district.
What would i miss if i was in prison apart from the ability to come and go as i please , guess the breeze of a open moor land , walking to the local Chinese or Indian for a take away. Going to the newsagents for a morning paper , window shopping , sex with a female , privacy , computers , cider and driving in the country side , photography ,music , loads and loads of stuff i guess we should be happy we are free and able to go to bed get up watch tv in the comfort of our home and house .
what you don't have to worry about inflation , job , getting up for work , paying bills or a mortgage , price of petrol , sunburn , were to go on holiday , getting stood up on dates , fashion , what's on at the cinema , and getting caught in a down pour .
what you have to worry about screws other inmates foreign bodies in your food,
Today is again grey dull wet and cold i was planing on buying some chicken pieces and lighting up the barbie once again , seeing as i have two bottles of ice cold pear cider waiting to be supped and some new tunes on the i-pod , good job i didn't order the three tonne of white sand and tropical the palm trees.
My Daughter skyped me the weather is no better in New Zealand in fact is wetter and colder than it is in blighty.
Home made lasagne for tea with hand cut chips then strawberry and apple pie with custard

Well today i saw photos of my daughters apartment she is sharing with Shanelle , its furnished and looks clean and modern .They are near the sea and docks which mean loads of shops and bars and no doubt fresh fish for sale , i would love to live on a coast could go fishing for my supper i doubt you can beat fish straight out of the sea.
also it means boats and yachts i also love light houses piers and stormy seas its enchanting , we use to go to the coast in winter with my parents we sit in the back of a bedford van eating chicken pieces and have hot coffee from a flask , nine times out of ten it be raining and we watch the sea come over the railings on the harbour walls , a castle on top of the cliffs over looking the sea finished it off this was at Scarborough my parents favorite place on the east coast , which had it all lighthouse piers fresh fish and crab , freshly made waffles and doughnuts plus a Ferris wheel and dodgems when your six or seven it was a magical place now its way past its sell by date , but saying that i love to go there tomorrow and take loads of photos and reminisce be better still if it was in a camper van.

well its been another boring day in the life of me ,highlight of the day was a ride on a bus people watching , and noticing that every other person as a mobile device the odd person a i-pad or tablet or small net book and dongle and are either playing games or reading books or updating face book or listening to some extra loud music they feel they have to shear with the seats behind in front and to the side of them.
i started this blog instead of writing a diary but i miss holding a diary and keeping it in a secret hiding place , the idea was once i pass on it be a legacy in annuals of each year passed , i only bought black diary's to write in and with black ink and even if it didn't contain any pictures it could now with the use of a printer. should i now buy a 12-13 diary.
i had years a go a Polaroid camera that used black and white film , now i use a digital camera and change the settings to black and white but don't get the picture to hold in my hand.
I read digital books so never dog ear a page or smell the smell you get from a new or second hand book ,and no decent cover art jumping out from a book shelve .
I down load music and films so have no new cds or any on display in racks or towers its the same with films its all on a hard drive , no empty cases lurking about and no discs missing nothing to put away in to a wrong case , its all in a digital library and its all listed in alphabetical order only thing random is using the shuffle option on the i-pod settings.
If only life was as straight forward and it move forward with time and progressed on a level as does technology , instead of going backwards to the dark ages ,it wouldn't be bad if time at least stayed the same or stood still for a while it just gets harder every month.

Shattered had a couple glasses of pear cider and its made me sleepy its nearly quarter to one start at two pm today , its only just over twelve hours away i got home at half ten last night and have three hours at most four and a half before i go to bed not a brilliant shift to be doing rest of my life, Jobs are getting harder to find and any that pay decent money even harder , twenty years ago i have been moaning about what i earn now.
Anyway for now i am enjoying my job role i am left to my own devices a lot of the time i am not stuck behind a desk in a pigeon hole of a desk where you are permanently scrutinised listened to every move noted , every time you have a coffee take a phone call leave to go to the toilet , i can walk between levels go outside see different people every day and the days so far never drag quite the opposite they go very quickly .
Yesterday i went to the Hub its where half of the room is used by security to watch all the bank of monitors that show all floors and departments , exits and entrances at both hospitals its vast array of monitors with ever changing pictures , Its very hi -tech digital environment its like going in to prison the next door opens only when the one you entered through is shut only then is the other electronic lock opened
ordered a stainless steel torch of ebay wanted a titanium one but at forty quid plus and i cant justify spending that sort of money , its handy for work some parts of the hospital are in darkness when i do audits and walk abouts , so its handy to carry some sort of light source with you , as you can get plenty of weirdo's hanging around hospitals and druggies after needles and syringes or blankets and supplement drinks , hence the need for so many cameras .
My Daughter has not posted on her blog and as not updated Facebook with any photos of the new apartment or the salon where she works , i check every day but no new updates although when i spoke with her she did say she is getting it all ready to post so i live in hope , one day soon .
updated my external drive yesterday put some more films , music and books on to my 1tb hard drive its amazing how quick you can fill a drive of this size , my first pc had a measly 10 gig drive i upgraded it to 20 gig and i thought i never fill it , you can get bigger drives on phones these days . i have hundreds of films thousands of albums and photographs and hundreds of e- books , its my digital life in a brick .
i have recently discovered these on sale at Morrison's for only 68p each last time i had Pattie was when i use to go to the Blues up Chapletown on leaving we use to call in at a west Indian cafe and get patties and dumplings , i had one recently from a market town stall which was made by a Jamacian chef which was excellent these for the price and taste are not that bad going to buy half dozen.

Well its Monday again not tired feeling hungry could murder a curry feel like something spicy and hot.
its my nephews 44Th birthday i use to baby sit him , i remembered i stayed over and there was Charles Bronson on TV it was Death wish 1 , i didn't get to watch it all i was totally pissed off they had a VCR we didn't at home it was years later when i finally got to see the end , they had a colour TV and a music centre all hi tech stuff at the time he sold insurance policies and was minted , we had a black and white TV and a shitty radio and lived in the shitty end of the city , audio cassettes i think where just becoming main stream ,i got one when my sister went on a school trip to France , me i got a Grundig cassette deck instead it was the biz Dolby noise reduction what ever the fuck that was was i knew i didn't want mono i wanted stereo i ended up playing it through a amp and added a cheap pair of speakers just in time for Bob Marley exodus being released , Roxy Music Siren and Be bop deluxe axe victim , Christ so much has changed its so amazing its unbelievable.
To cheer him up i said your only middle aged if your going to live until your 88 if not you was middle aged years ago , you just didn't realise it at the time.

Going to bed whilst its dark its half past midnight should have gone to bed earlier but don't feel that tired which is weird as the lack of sleep i have had this week have been averaging five hours a day and doing ok on it.
woke up half past ten had to go straight out for some milk also bought a fruit loaf for breakfast.
down loaded skype on to my main computer and installed just in case i anything goes wrong with my laptop.
Went to the Toby carvery with Kris Helens son his girlfriend Jemma who is nearly three months pregnant and her parents , we all pigged out , for a extra £1.50 they do a king size plate you get extra meat extra Yorkshire pudding and two chipolata sausages, just left enough room for a desert of hot chocolate fudge cake and pouring cream.
Took Helen to Asda car park so she could practice driving the car she she got it moving with out stalling it and did it twice she manage to steer it and went round in a circle , she was chuffed with herself her heart was beating fast and then she lost the grasp of the clutch control so we ended the lesson , she did good she needs to get a license and take proper lessons and i reckon in six months she be passed and road legal.
Listening to B.O.B "Strange Cloud"

Finished work at 6.00 am and the car wouldn't start no electrics , phoned the AA was going to be a hour at least , lifted the bonnet the battery lead was loose sorted it out i cancelled road side assistance and drove home.
slept until half past one went out bought some beef burgers red onion sausages tiger baps and cherry tomatoes and a large bag of charcoal for our very first barbecue using a proper grill rather than using disposable throw away ones also bought a two litre. bottle of pear cider.
sat cooking in the garden it was sunny but cold but its the best its been in a long time , pip had burgers and sausage too she loved it , the next door neighbour's were coughing because of the smoke from the charcoal , exaggerating bastards like we was going to put it out , had the rest of the strawberries and cream whilst listening to Coldplay's album Mylo Xyloto which is "based on a love story with a happy ending," in which two protagonists living in an oppressive, dystopian, urban environment, meet one another through a gang and fall in love .... there you have it

Last night working nights for a few weeks , i got home just after six am , i made a coffee and cooked some bacon and cherry tomatoes my daughter was calling me at half past six , she did dead on time , i haven't heard her voice for a week it seems longer , she is settled in her apartment and her job is going good she is trying to build a client list up , she wants when she returns home to travel to Ireland and Scotland and down south to Cornwall there is loads of places she wants to see only thing we have not got is the sun and perhaps the time.
Bought a jerk chicken Jamaican west Indian Pattie from local supermarket it was spot on and cost only 68p will be getting some in , also time for bottled water instead of all the coffee i drink currently 4 x 1 litre bottles for £1.50p kiwi and strawberry being my favorite .

Went to bed just after twenty past six this morning at around nine am they started cutting the grass opposite to where our house is its cut ever two weeks , its a fucking joke it don't grow that fast even with all the rain we get , they was using petrol powered grass strimmers it was like a squadron of spitfires taking off. Two more nights than its back on days for a couple of weeks , i have noy had more than fifteen hours sleep in three nights four days of working shifts its great i get to spend a full ten hours chilling at home.
My son Guy rode over from York on his motorbike he has recently bought a sat nav so it was his first time driving over on his own he made it fine although i think it took him an alternative route that i would have taken sometimes sat navs don't always give the quickest of routes , on his way back home the rain came down it was quite torrential we followed him part of the way and the spray back from other cars was bad he was getting soaked suppose you cant be a biker just when its sunny not in England anyway you be forever on a bus , he was given his grandmas ashes in a pill cylinder , hopefully she was his spirit guide he made it safely home so hopefully she was.
We stopped of at a fish and chip shop and ate fish and chips in the car out of the paper they always taste better than taking them home and serving them on a plate

Got my two bronze skulls of eBay they are extremely well detailed and are each individual hand crafted and finished , so no two skulls are ever identical they are each unique i will have to decide how to use them to show them off to there full potential ,they look extremely nice on black cord might buy some black leather round cord or shoe laces and some titanium silver beads.
Helen its looking like she and will receive no more money ,. Its going to be a up hill struggle and we will just have to see how it goes , i guess as always time will tell , hopefully we don't constantly argue over money issues , if i don't have it i cant spend it that's including bills and the mortgage , we have to eat we need food we cant go hungry i wont starve , and the pets need feeding too they wont starve the rest will be a juggling game , and its neither rob Peter to pay Paul or pay neither and let them wait and pay what we can when we can , at the end of the day we wont go to prison for being bad payers as long as the taxes are paid , then its end of .
I know a few people out there will be gloating and sniggering that we are struggling and have money issues , well fuck you all . judge us how ever you feel , at end of the day who really gives two fucks what you think , not i.
Tried to order the Japanese blade i posted about yesterday of ebay they wont let me buy it due to it being a knife so why let people post it on site to sell i can buy it of a English web site but its a different design to what i wanted so will think it over.
Third night working 22.oo pm until 06.00 am in two days i guess i have had ten hours sleep if i am lucky i don't feel that bad after tonight its down hill all the way .
Watching - Chronicle 8/10 v.good imo

Well things are going from worse to very worse might be the Helen is getting no more ESA payments and is not entitled to any other income support related payments if this is the case she has to find work otherwise we are just going to sink and end up losing it all , she has an appointment tomorrow at half past one .
Got home from my night shift just after six went straight to bed i was up just after half past eleven just over five hours sleep we are going to the White Rose Shopping Mall will get some bottled fruit flavored water and chili chicken kebab and maybe some freshly baked cookies to munch on tonight at work .
Called my son to see if he was biking over he had his girlfriend Charlotte with him at his house so i guess the answer would be no , some other time .
i want one of these Japanese traditional "HIGONOKAMI Knife , as i like most things Japanese and these blades are stepped in history and are a classic pocket knife EDC by the Japanese ,they are extremely sharp and extremely well made and cheap
I am tired and i have to go to work in a few hours to do a eight hour shift please God don't let it drag.

So today its going to be another boring day got a few dvds to watch Chronicles , Warhorse and Red tails and the latest Sherlock Holmes , as i am working tonight at ten and i will be doing nights the rest of the week and another week being last week in May.

Well Sunday is here already i been up all night tying knots and i am going knotty so its of to bed i go , Helen will no doubt be on the sofa watching some rubbish on t.v .
when we did eventually go to bed just before two am , we got up at half past nine and went out over to Saddleworth moor with Pip OUR Jack Russell , we parked the car and walked miles over the hills and country side , and again took loads of photos , we must now have thousands of photographs of saddleworth Moor and surrounding areas over a four year period in every possible season.
if we win the lottery there is a house we would by its just under £800,000 its called Sidebank House and is two buildings one being the main house the other out buildings are offices we would have it as a coffee shop it over look the reservoirs all we need is six numbers and its ours .
went to see Kath and Wayne at around half eight i sorted her i-tunes out she has a i-phone and not synced it it took ages longer than i realised , she had quite a few clubland albums she had bought from i-tunes and they took ages to put in to her purchased items the are four disc albums and some of the track mixes mega long , had a couple of lagers whilst doing it , and towards the end of the night Kath gave Helen a Louis Vuitton bag it was a copy but a very good one she had paid £120 for and never used it.

Today it looks sunny and the sky is blue , but its way too cool which i don't mind its ideal for walking .Went out for some sausages to cook for breakfast by the time i had cooked them the weather had changed , manage to cut the grass at the front of the house , its getting darker and colder and rain looks immanent at any time.
Bought some more para cord of ebay another 50 foot this time in khaki to go with the black . Learned how to tie pray beads and a monkeys fist without the ball bearing a lanyard knot and a box lanyard all via you tube , i think Helen is getting pissed off with me , if she is not careful i will tie her up .
what else have i done to day well nothing really did shopping for tea we went out and bought a pasta dish for tea and some Italian ham with herbs and a medium cooked chicken for dinner tomorrow , also a bottle of pear cider some pruning shears and some hair gel and of course a lottery ticket or two.
If we won the lottery Helen wants a Nissan Juke and i want a Land Rover Evoque where as i can drive and have a license Helen has no license even a provisional and can not drive.

Working another bank holiday and i am doing a full week on nights i might try and see if i can go in at eight and do an extra two hours that way i can still see my shift sign out,its like working another two days ,and at the moment every penny counts and as i am sick of counting the pennies i need to be earning a lot more money , i was earning more twenty years ago than what i earn today its sickening as you always expect that you will earn more every year, sadly this is not the case , my wage has been halved over the last few years and life at best these days is a struggle.

Well its Wednesday already just ordered some emo plastic skulls of eBay only a couple of quid for twenty five not even the price of ten cigs.
Woke up at quarter to eight this morning i don't seem to need much sleep these days , if i am awake i usually get up i don't see the point in trying to go back to sleep , i will make a extra large cup of coffee and check face book and blog to see if they have been any recent postings from my daughter ,
Then i might go out to the super market for milk bread and other bits we need i like going early then its done with.
During the day i will read a book on my i-phone , i am used to reading of this device and realise how now and holding a normal book seems strange for a lot of people , even on my laptop i have Mobipocket reader , a excellent programme for reading electronic books i also use calibre for converting formats both of these are free to use and are handy for travelling reading at night or if you find normal size print difficult to see , i am reading another one of Jo Nesbo novels "The devils star" i finished "Headhunters" by Jo Nesbo and really enjoyed it , and the plot lasted until the end and was gripping through out .
I have not been listening to any music recently not sure why as i wanted a new i-pod after i had given my son my newest pod , but have not yet bothered getting one anyway i use my i-phone no difference and its no worse apart from the storage but at the end of the day you can only listen to one track at a time its no hardship putting on and taking of music on a daily basis.

Guess what its grey dull dismal and raining we had sunny yesterday for a good part of the day now its back to how it was , the new barbecue i bought is sat in the garden and no doubt will be rusty before we get to use it .
Went to Primark's or Primarni if you want to be posh and bought a couple of short sleeved shirts for work and some new underpants and some all black deck pumps for lounging around at home.
Might be working four night shifts next week that going to mess my sleep pattern up and at the end of the month i have a full week of night working ten till six am. Helen as a couple of readings for later this week.
My son has bought a sat nav for his motorbike of ebay so he might make it over to our house and be able to see me , he might even bring his spare helmet so i can ride pillion as long as it ain't raining , don't drive with the car window down when its raining so i ain't getting on the back of no bike
