TICKETS

Done and finished Saturday morning I was home before 3am it as been a slog and the last couple of shifts hard going but its all done and dusted , Next pay packet should make it all worthwhile.

We have a new shower unit it is a more powerful spray not quite a power shower standard and a better temperature settings for both hot and cold.

I received another parking ticket from Newlyn's regarding a unpaid parking fine at work this time it is regarding The Nissan Juke it is only one ticket but still at a cost of sixty pounds i phoned them up and told them i won't pay it blah blah blah yet they don't listen  , ignorant people they think they are educated well they are not they are bullies thinking they can use court action to scare people in to paying up so take it to court then , let someone with half a brain sort it out rant over .

Helen as a reading today at two o clock then i think we will then ride out to the Trafford centre to Selfridges , i need a new fountain pen which i can pick up from there and some new black work jeans .

TWO TO GO .

Thursday morning and it is now 11.00 am and i am up and dressed after only five hours sleep i am  hungry and skint , that is until tonight when my wage goes in to my account.
I hate five week months everyone i work with is in the same boat all waiting for money to be transferred in to their banks to live on and buy food . AT least next pay cheque is only four weeks away ,
It is dull and again it is raining i am not looking forward to another twelve hour shift .i am going to put of  films on my phone to watch later at work , go to stay awake somehow , roll on Saturday morning the weather is supposed to be sunny might go to Meadow Hall.

LONGEST WEEK

Helen stayed at her mothers last night with Pip i dropped them off before i started work , seeing as i am working until two in the morning Helen rather stay at her mothers house , her choice it was after three when i got home and around half three before going to bed .
The phone woke me just after ten this morning with text message from Helen asking if i had slept ok without her beside me , i told her i was too tired not to sleep.The alarm went of at half past ten in another hour and half i will be on my way back to work , no rest for the wicked i will sleep when i am dead but for now its another twelve hour shift ahead of me  the second one out of five its going to be a long week .

WATER GYPSY

 My sister and her husband called over and took us out for lunch we had toasted sandwiches at a garden centre in Dobcross.
We bought cheese bread and baked beans for cheesy beans on toast which will do for tea and supper .

Been looking at narrow boats as an alternative to a camper van will cost more or less the same price  need to look at the rules for constant sailing and the cost for mooring fees plus boat licenses and safety certificates etc.

Top speed 4 miles per hour holds ninety gallons of fuel and 120 gallons of water the boat below is on sale on Ebay for £26,950 and is fifty foot long.

WET AND WETTER

Been a rainy Saturday apart from this morning trying to get Pip our Jack Russell to go out  in the rain is a pain in the back side she won't go far then turns around and goes home , if you try and stop her are speak to her she cowers and sort of between lies and crouches down.

Helen and i went over to Dobcross for a ride out on the way back we called in at Compo's fish shop and got two fish and scraps and chips to take home .
We watched a new BBC crime drama series the first four episodes i downloaded called "Happy Valley" a really good store line and great acting every episode is a gem , the female sergeant is played by Sarah Lancashire . It is set not far from where we live based around the Huddersfield area's.

Helen had two readings whilst she did them i was in the bedroom on my mac book looking at 30ft narrow boats and  VW camper vans .

WAITING GAME

Not looking forward to next week working five twelve hour shifts with the one hour drive each way means i am out of the cottage for fourteen hours a day which  is shite , the things you do for money and to pay the bills .
This time next year things hopefully are easier and we should or will be living in another part of the country side in another village in another cottage type dwelling , maybe at Saddleworth.

Helen has readings booked otherwise we would be struggling i don't get paid until next week and the last money i have will go towards fuel to get me to work  and back , i have been spending no money whilst at work simply because i don't have it to spend so roll on next week.

The cottage  we live in the fire is still not been replaced and now the shower over the bath is broken and beyond repair so we are with out a working fire and a working shower  , we do have a bath but i  hate baths its a hassle filling them and getting the temperature right i just don't like it the hassle and i think your cleaner after showering than bathing .

Decided on a camera i will buy soon as i get some cash its the Sony RX100 MK111 its compact with a great 30 x zoom and sensor it also as a view finder and movable pivotal screen and i would like one please.

Next year i will also go back to one of the Greek islands ITS BEEN TOO LONG SINCE I HAVE BEEN ABROAD   and i want and need a  holiday , hopefully we can do some island hoping i know this time next year i will have the cash a s an investment i made a few years ago will pay out dividends which is a very reasonable amount ,  so it is not all doom and gloom all i can say is watch this space , everything comes to those who wait well i have waited , so bring it on its all a waiting game .

CATCH UP

The sun is out again hopefully by the weekend it will be even hotter and sunnier than it is now with clearer blue skies , time to stock up on bottled fruit flavoured fizzy water ,  peach and apricot and apple and strawberry are my two favourites specially when ice cold .

Will have to dust the backpack off and get some pack up made for a day of walking with Pip over the moors and around the reservoirs getting up earlier enough to avoid not been able to get a parking spot they tend to go very quickly if you leave it too late.

Guess we should make the most of it because one summer can be over before it really starts and two we might not be here for a second summer , as in not living here we could be back in Leeds or living in a different part of Holmfirth.

Cant believe it is still two weeks until pay day , i hate five week months we should get paid every four weeks going five weeks is ok if you have savings living hand to mouth does not benefit five week months ouch.

Saturday
it is absolutely red hot it is scorching their is very little wind and this is the best weekend so far this year .
We went to the reservoir and walked up to the top one out of the three reservoirs that there we walked past the last one and continue to the source of the water which runs of the mountain seeing as i had my crocs on i river walked the water was still ice cold we was out for the most of the day at night we went to the Fountain Inn for a couple of ice cold ciders.

Sunday
went to Ikea and bought a blow and white parasol for the garden table it was only ten pounds on the way home went to the Audi dealership to look at A1'S they had a nice 2 litre sports line with nice alloys and paint job the interiors are far superior to other cars and they start at 14k for a new car
My Son Guy called with his girlfriend Charlotte he drove over on his Suzuki bandit they could only stay for a couple of hours , but it was still nice to see him we went on a walk and just chatted about things in general.

Monday
The rain is back although it was still warm for the sixth day running i got  free parking spot this as never happened before i am usually lucky to get one a week if that to get six in succession unbelievable .

The Juke went back last week hopefully next months payment will only be for three days charges before i have to pay the remainder off which will be nice seeing as i will have a wage with overtime on it .

Next week when i am starting at two in the afternoon till two in the morning Helen wants to stay at her mothers fine , can manage on my own for a week if i had my camper van would have been no need to drive home.Might even watch the last season of Breaking Bad .

Tuesday
best thing about Tuesday is it ain't Monday more rain coming least it is cooler , i knew buying the parasol for the out door table was a jinx.

SUMMERS COMING

Well its of to the bank with the cheque massive from the inland revenue for the  £109 that i have overpaid at least my tax code will alter to 1000L from 517L .
Will fill the car up and pay my phone bill and buy a little bit of food for breakfast the rest of the week once it as cleared that is .

Tuesday.
The Nissan Juke was picked up yesterday they found a small scratch just above the bumper how much they want to fix that i can only guess the stone chip to the bonnet was put down as normal wear and tear and a scuff on the alloy wheel also down as normal wear and tear , i still don't know what i am going to pay over the coming months but it will be done and dusted by the end of October or sooner.

Next car i purchase will either be a camper van or a Audi A1 as much as i want a camper van i will have to be practical as always and will have to take in to account travelling and going to work and of course parking and the  fuel cost , nothing i need to sort at straight and maybe  i don't even have to worry about what to buy until next April.

Wednesday
The weather was hot and sunny today hopefully a sign of things to come  , my twin sister and her husband flew to Greece this afternoon to Rhodes , i went to Rhodes when i was in my early twenties and i also went to Mykonos both great islands with great restaurants and nightlife , last time is was there the currency was drachmas and euros was not even a notion and as far as i recall it was a good exchange rate.

RAIN

Saturday
Things are looking up , not the weather it is raining , Helen as readings booked and over the last week as already had around six people with another three coming over this weekend she also as another day of readings booked for a Saturday in July last time eight people came this time word as got round and more people are interested .She got another deck of cards of ebay which sell for over a £100 she got them for just over £20 for these  Mythic design card deck .

The Juke is getting picked up on Tuesday and that will be driven off in to the sunset and hopefully over the next three months it be done and dusted and i can finally wash my hands of the whole situation that will be when i have paid the £1048 termination fee .i should be getting a cheque from the inland revenue for over paid taxes in the next few weeks  for a few hundred pounds hopefully.

I got a cheque from the inland revenue for £110 would have been nice if it was for a few hundred pounds more but any  rebate i guess is a lot better than a under payment and them wanting a cheques of me .

So things are slowly and gradually improving and hopefully will continue to do so , i worked out the other day that Helen will have paid well over £3000 over a two  year contract for her i-phone 5s , my 4s comes up for renewal in August  and i am hoping that i won't want to  get another phone on contract and instead i will opt for pay as you go  sim card so i will get no monthly bills if i don't use the credit it will roll on , i will still have a iPhone it will be bought sim free from the Apple store.

The rain came down most of the day the weather is pretty appalling and as Helen had two readings book din the afternoon we did very little.

We did venture out and i did treat myself to some fried chicken from Marsden's chicken shack as always it was busy and the queue was out of the door , i ate in the car with chives and sour cream dip .
We watched one more episode of Breaking Bad the final one of season four the one where Gus looks like Terminator on a bad day , whilst we ate some shitty pizzas we bought from Tesco , so the last and final season coming up.

Sunday
Helen as another reading booked for tonight we was up late well i should say Helen was up late i was in the shower for just after eight , so we missed out on breakfast at the Toby carvery least a few calories where saved in the process.
Went to see my twin sister Anne she was messing around with her photos and was having a right old time  at putting them on to her Asus laptop which is running windows 8 , i am so glad i have a Mac , windows eight seems a nightmare i still thin XP was the boss .

Have been looking at firms that do camper van conversions you supply the van they fit it out i reckon its the best way to do it  , as hopefully you get the van and interior that you want with little or no compromise , and the cost can also be cheaper if you can source the right van.
Saying that would there be any point as we live in England and all it as seem to have done this week end is rain .

BATH TIME

Day off work sat in on Helen's driving lesson she did ok although she did stall the engine a couple of times  but apart from this for straight driving on the road she was good.

At half past five we went to Dewsbury hospital for Helen's injuries after the RTA we was in this was done buy a specialist and will deem how much compensation payout she should receive this consultation should we have miss fit would have cost us £250.

After we went to the supermarket and  filled the car up with petrol  to the tune of £38.00 ,  then we did some food shopping and bought a fresh curry with nan bread poppadoms and bahjees .

After tea we bathed Pip our Jack Russell she has not had one for a while and now the weather is getting hotter she does smell a bit doggy , she knew something was up and was ignoring our calls to come upstairs we had to dogknap her and put he run the bath she had a shampoo and conditioner applied and was showered  off we put the heater on and she sat in front until she was dried.

This is my 1300 post over a nine year period and  a lot of water has gone under the bridge.
I lived I five different locations and for the first time I have moved out of the city and in to the countryside .what the next miner year or 1300 will contain is anyone's guess will  be using a  iPhone 14s I guess .

 Thank fcuk Monday us over been a crap day at work I had enough by six pm the last four hours totally drag the best thing is I got paid extra it being a bank holiday .
Work today of Wednesday which will break the week up nice .

Seriously want and need a van , I can't wait although I know I will have to I just want to hit the highway and spend nights out on the road. listening to tunes on my iPhone and cooking evening meals on a two ring burner, honest to god I can't wait .

Especially when its raining buckets in the middle of the night and its hitting down hard on  the roof  and the wind is howling and its still only  summer bliss.Bring it on .

GETTING THINGS DONE

Its Saturday its sunny the car is washed dried and waxed , had  a shower and had breakfast.
Can't decide what to do or where to go wish I had a camper van it would be a case of fill her up and head to the coast.

Have been looking on eBay for a decent second hand van I will get one either in October or next April ,  chances being it will be next April all being well I reckon I can get one for around £15000  hopefully, and have enough money  to get it kitted out ,  I  will want it with solar panels and  extra batteries to hopefully use a  TV microwave and  laptop etc.

I need to do something with my life specially on summer weekends seeing as i don't go to work and do more travelling and sight seeing and to go further a field explore more locations , obvious the  more miles i plan to travel then the better the van i need with a lower mileage as last thing i need is to break downs miles from anywhere.

Helen wants a retro VW camper van with split screen i want something newer,so its newer cleaner with less wear and tear and i my opinion the newer it is the  better , so a new one it is.

Will accessorise it with cool things neon lights throws blankets pots and pans and plates and other necessitates that will need once on the road can get most everything i will need from Ikea we have already got a picnic hamper.

Been looking at more online stories blogs and vlogs about peoples travels and lives in a camper van all great reading all living a dream  there are quite a lot of couples van living together and living full time on the road , i can't pack work in but can make the most of long weekends and weeks off work .
