BYE HARVEY A TRUE GENT.

Well spent another £320 getting the car through the MOT plus another  £50 for the test itself  they should knock the VAT of car spares the Bastard of a  government make enough on road tax and petrol the wankers come the revolution.

Anyway i decided to call the leasing company about the delivery date of my new car this afternoon and it  looks like it will be delivered for the end of August so at least i wont have another MOT to pay for plus i might have a buyer for the Freelander.

We both  want to move out of the house asp it is really pissing me off i just NOW want to be gone to pasture new , Harvey the coolest cat is going to be cool at my daughters house she is taking him in i do hope it all goes good i take him over this evening i have bought 2x large packets of cat biscuit's and 48 x cat food pouches and two sacks of cat litter.Helen was crying putting him in the pet carrier we had been busy all day we never really got a chance to hug him for long before he left,  it was a sad evening we will miss you big Harvey a true gent  xx.

All we have  left now is Pip she stays with us  and  the tropical fish one more went round the bend of the toilet the other day as it was floating on top of the tank rather then swimming below the water level  , i am not being nasty but i cant get upset about the loss of a fish i rather they all lived  , as we both eat fish, Helen will not eat rabbit but  i will not that i have had it for a few years , and of course as we are not Chinese , Japanese ,cantonese or Korean  we don't eat cats and dogs , but fish yes usually with chips and in batter or sometimes even out of a tin .
And of course we have all had horse burgers ,pies and meat unwittingly maybe ,  but we have all had a taste.

Helen is still doing good with the readings and is still getting people booked in she i s doing a reading as i write this and a person as called to book in for a one to one reading sometime this week.

We took a Ikea  plastic heavy duty blue bag full of paper backs to the charity shop and we have another load of black bin liners to take to the tip.

Today we have had thunder along with  lighting and torrential down pours i am  betting that there will be a few flood alerts across the region.

Well it is the evening now and  it is just before ten o clock so it is curry rice chips nan breads and pear cider as  i deserve it seeing that i have not stopped all day to say i booked the day of work it as not been a holiday.

Reading -  Kurt Cobain's Journal not impressed quite boring i guess if he knew that lots of people where going to read his pages he have made it more interesting .

RABBIT PIZZA AND FRANK

Went to see the cottage again at Holmfirth we should be in in the next seven to fourteen days this was after we had been to the Red bus for breakfast on the A64 to York .
The cottage looking through the window looked like it  has had  the back wall water proofed and then  plastered and painted .

We went to Uppermill to the  Dinnerstone pizza restaurant we have been there before but only for carry out  this time we dined inside we ordered one BBQ chicken with buffalo mozzarella cheese and sun dried tomatoes and one slow cooked beef with red onions and English mustard , along with a side order of hand cut chips and a rocket salad ,  i had a ice cold  pear Rekorderlig cider over ice , they had the new Rollin Stones greatest hits cd  playing and a large poster of Frank Zappa sat on a toilet playing a guitar this was at the bottom of the stairs leading to toilets not in the dining bit. I did have quite a bit of the rocket salad it was nice as i don;t normally  eat rocket as it is the green stuff .

Frank Zappa below strumming something i do hope he washed his hands

Below Button our rabbit is in the carry cage and he is meeting his new rabbit friends he must be extremely happy to be around so many other rabbits having lived a solitary life on his own for the last five years  , this is the photo that  the lady who as adopted him sent to Helen about half an hour after she had took him home .

BYE BUTTON

My motor failed it's MOT i have a broken coil spring , eroded break pipes and need one new tyre it cant fail on the rear shock absorbers but i have been advice to think about replacing them if i do you are looking at £360 for parts plus labour and vat fcuking cars cant wait to get my Nissan Juke if it ever fcuking gets built.

On a lighter note the new Google Nexus 7 is truly amazing plus it is a hundred pound cheaper than the i-pad mini , i did like my old Nexus i think i will get the newer version it is on sale next week if the house goes through then my treat along with a laptop and camera.

Bought a bag of ready cooked chicken thighs for dinner with sub rolls and fresh strawberries and a bottle or two or three of Cidre pear ,whilst Helen is in Sheffield having her nails done , i am chillin with me , so i  went to PC World for a half hour and was contemplating going to Starbucks to get a Strawberry Frappucino  but it started to throw it down and the skies went dark, apparently summer and the good weather we have had over the last few weeks is ending shite.

Button our rabbit of the past five years as been rehoused he was picked up at tea time tonight he is going to be well looked after and will live the remaining years with other rabbits he will be in bunny  paradise he as never known another rabbit for all the years he has been with us , and  we are happy for him we both cuddled him before he left .it was a emotional event.I think he will enjoy his remaining years immensely we hope he does.

Below baby  Button a Easter gift for Helen instead of a chocolate egg .
A chocolate button

I need a spicy Indian dish with nan breads and pakoras , bahjees and aloo saag plus pickles and poppadom's. I need a interesting book to read i think on photography and a film to watch i am bored.

STILL NOT THERE

We are still waiting for the people buying our house to get their mortgage in place and to sign the papers we want to be out of here next Friday , and at the rate it is going it is not about to happen any time quickly .If they don't sign for what any reason it is a possibility we put the house back on the market .

We are going to lose the cottage we went to look at last Saturday the women who owns it knows we want it that is our only saving grace but a empty house is costing her money she will only give us so long before she needs us to commit or pull out , so we need a decision on way or the other asp.

At the end of the day we are trying to sort the rest of our life out so we can begin again in pastures new so either let us know by Friday or the deal is off and the house goes back on the market.

On the bright side its pay day midnight tonight  and after tomorrow it is the weekend we always love weekends , going to fill the car up make sandwiches and get out early in the morning.

Helen as loads of readings booked in up till next week everyone knows we are supposedly leaving so they are all wanting Helen to do readings and are getting booked in before we uproot and depart if we depart.

ROUND THE BEND

We lost or first fish today it got trapped between a rock and the glass of the tank it damage it fin we had to flush the fish down the toilet round the bend it went R.I.P little fishy , if we had have left it in the tank the other fish would have picked on it  , one of the other fish is also a bully and if it does not behave and let peace reside in the tank it be going round the bend as well.

We have someone coming to look at our rabbit Button who i bought one good Friday as a Easter gift for Helen if she likes him he will be re housed .

My Daughter Tuesday is having Harvey our Rag doll cat he as to be one of the coolest cats in Yorkshire we are going to miss him lots we have loads of photos of him and he will be in our hearts for years to come.

Pip our ever faithful Jack Russell stays for the journey and hopefully is in for the long haul ,  she stays with us and our move to Holmfirth  , she is very loving and is a little girl at heart and we both want her with us , end of story , she would not understand if we gave her up she would pine for months and we both know that it would effect her well being and as they say a dog is for life .

WILL KNOW WHEN I GET THERE

Well we are up and are going to the pet shop to get Pip another collar , we bought one yesterday but its too big after we have got it exchanged for a smaller size , we are dropping by at the solicitors to sign the house contracts over , we need to be  moved I  feel that  I am a lost soul between two worlds .

We stopped at a Subway restaurant for a breakfast sub I had the flat bread with bacon sausage cheese and egg and chili sauce .

Once we are moved we can get  on with the rest of our lives Helen as wanted to live in the country for years we just want to be settled in and start to enjoy hopefully a less stressful life.
We went to the solicitors and signed the contract we asked to exchange this Friday but it is more than likely going to be next Friday at the earliest , as soon as we go a day into a month we have to pay that months mortgage.

As we have a cottage that we are keen to move in to we want to get it over and done quickly , because the only way we can put a bond down is when we have exchanged contracts there is no going back at that stage of the sale ,  if they then pull out they buyers have to  pay a 4% fine which is £14,000 to us , once we pay the bond we get the keys we can start moving things in and start getting the place organized as we will be the lease owners for at least the next six months.

Life is never plain sailing and sometime i feel the wind and elements are against me but i paddle on regardless and hopefully get there in the end , i don't know where it is i am travelling but i will know when i get there this might be just a port in a storm or a harbour to restock and re plan before sailing on to other shores.

COUNTING DOWN

Seeing that the cottage we are going to be living in hopefully we need to furnish it with extraordinary things to make each item we put in there special we cant waste the space the main piece of furniture in our downstairs living area is going to be a corner sofa a tv stand and a stand for the fish then maybe a coffee table and floor lamps.

The kitchen we want to get a air fryer a new microwave and a panini press and kettle and toaster i want a chef's knife block and a cafeteria.

The bedroom we might have already got most of the furniture just new table lamps and mirror i like a big mirror that sits on the floor and is the height of the wall if possible.

Bathroom perhaps a wall cabinet and new shower curtain and a blind for the window and bath mats it is a very small bathroom .

Outside a metal fold away cafe table and two fold up chairs and a bench and table top barbecue and some lights  a few window boxes and hanging baskets.

No doubt Helen will have some ideas too maybe not as creative as mine but some times simple works .

We have to make sure we take what we want from the house we are in now and not leave anything behind just because we cant be bothered to pack it unscrew it or disassemble it i rather take stuff with us to discard it later if it does not fit in to the cottage , then leave it and wish we had taken it.

Above is a picture of the plaque above the main door it reminds me of  "Wind in the willows " or Tales from the river bank" we plan on getting a ceramic toad or two .

The roof above the porch will look good with with solar powered string lights we can have then along the gutter and down the fall pipe .

After breakfast this morning we looked at some nice things mirrors wall scones and a Buddha head all were well made and would fit in the interior of the cottage there was also a couple of canvas paintings we liked as well as over sized wall clocks and coat stands .

Tomorrow we are at the solicitors to sign the papers to sell the house our part will be legal no going back once the buyers do the same and we agree a date for the transfer of funds . it is done and we will no longer own the house we have lived in for the last five years.

We both reckon we are out of here in two weeks tops , i want to try and get three weeks off work one week before the move and two weeks after to settle in our last night here and our first night there will be strange , i don't know if where will spend the rest of our days i am sure it wont be in Leeds and it wont be in a city .

It will be peaceful and  it will be quite it be tranquil and relaxing , today where we live we have heard cars screech  , ambulance and police  sirens dogs barking  and kids scream , a ice cream van jingles and motor bike engines going  through the gears. They say you can get use to anything in time but why get use to it?,

THE COTTAGE AND LAKE

My son Guy called last night after half past ten when i had finished work ,  he wanted and requested would  Helen do him a reading not sure why but he was keen and even wanted to pay so Helen agreed she was skeptic as to why he wanted one doing  but in the end agreed to do him one.
He seemed genuinely pleased after his reading which took well over a hour , after i let him take me out in my 4X4 he passed  his driving test a few weeks ago and his driving was fine .

This afternoon we went to look at a cottage on the outskirts of Holmfirth we are on a narrow road with other  houses so it is not totally isolated behind us are fields and grass land  and even a small lake for picnics .
The cottage is more or less one up one down it has a proper Yorkshire slate roof and exposed ceiling rafters in the living room and bedroom.

The bathroom and shower is en suite seeing as there is only the one  bedroom it have to be it is gas central heated and double glazed the is a spot of damp in the living room which is getting fixed it as a fridge freezer cooker and hob and washing machine in the kitchen living room.
I t will be very easy to keep clean and to heat in winter we have agreed to pay a bond next week and should get the keys on Thursday we should have a week before we move out of this house , we both cant wait .

Below is the bedroom with views of fields and grassland so much better than a bus shelter that we have now on the road we will be living on has no buses on it.

Below is the kitchen on the back wall of the living room there is plenty of storage space and the utilities are new and clean .

The  wall light and velux roof window in the bedroom this is going to be so cosy in winter we want loads of strings of lights

This lake is more or less five hundred yards behind our new home we are allowed Pip our Jack Russell she is going to get her little legs walked off.

This is our roof standing in front of the lake great views compared to what we have now this is paradise.
Not sure why the chimney is painted grey.

The living room the L-shaped sofa will go we will get our own we already want to paint the joists black we will do in time , the damp patch will be sorted before we move in and re painted .

We hope to be sorted in a week two at the very most i cant wait we are both eager although this is small it will be a mansion to us and as for the garden well it goes on and on and on .
We are already making decisions as to what to buy and how to arrange the interior Holmfirth village is only a few miles away and is walkable but it its very uphill on the way back i think it be a case of walking there and getting a taxi back well maybe for the first few times .

GETTING THERE

We got a letter from the solicitors we go next  Monday to sign the papers for the sale of the house once we do this i guess we are looking at a few weeks and we will be out of here.

Bought some Strawberries and a bottle of pear cider when we went shopping today which cheered me up specially as it is still  warm.
I like a pears and ice once i  get home after my shift finishes ten each night , one of Helen's friends also bought some Stella cidre not pears apple  but it is still nice and refreshing even more so because she also bought a big bag of ice from the supermarket , the first time i have known anyone to buy ice how fcuking posh anyway it was very much appreciated thank you .

We might have a chance of a house we are waiting for the photos of the dwelling to be sent to Helen's email addy the best thing is she will allow us to have Pip as long as we get the carpets shampooed should we decide to leave , she as said someone else was also going tonight to view the house guess if it is decent it could go.

All i need is a delivery date for my Nissan Juke i cant see us being in Leeds i am guessing we will have moved i reckon it maybe another six weeks to say it is being built by Robots they are slow.

Above is the limited edition Nissan Juke GT- R , there is  545 bhp under it's hood  and has a  3.85 litre engine knocking out a  top speed of  160 mph ,  mine is the same color but at the opposite end but i don't care  i am still happy i will be more than buzzing when i get it by the way mine is costing 14 k the one above will cost at least 100k.

A DRAG

it's only Tuesday and it feels like it should be Friday i am bored at work it is too warm to get motivated everyone is pissed of with the shitty office we have to put up with all and all we are no marks just numbers and it pisses me off , The canteen is a fine example it is utterly crap and over priced i think it is guess a number and double no two identical meals seem to cost the same .

It is that bad  i rather not eat there , well to be honest  i don't go there its that rubbish its been months well maybe two years worth of months  . and the canteen staff who serve you are miserable twat's they need personality transplants and a customer service refresher  training and learn  to price correctly  for the over priced bland food that they cook and serve up and sell at ridiculous price and the visitors have to pay more than staff why is that then , they wont even take credit cards or debit cards Christ who carriers cash anymore .
Then there is the vegetarian option seeing as i am a carnivore not a herbivore why try and sell me it if i wanted it i would ask i can read the menu , thing is personally  i don't want any other option OK , i need meat and plenty of it more than likely i will want it curried with  oven breads hand cut chips and rice , i want portions where i have to leave some because there is too much it is over powering then they can charge the prices that they are charging now , and i might occasionally dine there.

We want a date for our move we need an end date to complete the sale so we can move and restart our life's at the moment we are in limbo just another thing to piss me off  , a long with the fact i am out of strawberries pear cider and fire lighters for the barbecue.

DAMN

Thank god there is only one Monday in each week and it is at the beginning of the week to get rid of it asp.
The weather is still hot bright and sunny and it is my first day back after three off , and at least it should still be sunny this coming weekend and we can have another barbecue.
solicitors are chasing up the sale of the house so we should hear something pretty quick or at least by this time next week.
Things are dire no strawberries left in the punnet and only one bottle of Pear left chilling in the fridge ,and  damn not paid until a week next Thursday.
Google Nexus seven dropped fifty pounds from it;s list price to £149 for 16gb a bargain cant see i-pad mini's doing the same double damn.

SUNNY SUNDAY AGAIN

In the cold  light of day i think we are going to stick to our original plan and go for a cottage in the village or in the outskirts of Holmfirth if i had to live in a mobile home it be a new one and not in the village of Flockton.

Last night we had a barbecue we did steak chicken and pork with a extra large onion we sat in the garden until it was dark , Pip chewed through the cable that powers the out door light ages ago how she never electrocuted her self i have no idea as it was live at the time , she eats the cats food so  perhaps she as got nine lives too.

This afternoon when it was mid afternoon we went for a walk to Fair Burn Ings it is a RSPB reserve and popular with twitchers we walked quite away very green loads of swans and blue dragon flies really like electric blue dragon flies.

Tonight we had our second barbecue i could cook every night outdoors sitting in the garden on a summer's evening if onlY  thing missing was the sound of the sea , we had Mumford and son's on the i pod playing  which is is as nearly as good .

We cooked some lamb as well and sausages as well as chicken and pork and steak for Helen , also bought some tomato and red pepper relish which makes any meal seem twice as good  along with the ice cold  Koppaberg pear and coffee to finish.

MOBILE LIVING

We learnt that our friends house Steve and Sharon their cottage at Flockton  is up for sale , straight away we guessed that something was up and it was  they have split up , he had been living a double life and had been cheating on Sharon for the last couple of years he as left the cottage and moved in to her terrace house in Sunderland , it is a women he works with and of course seeing they both have a equal claim to the house and it has 100k equity then legally  it will be split 50/50.

At the back of the cottage is a mobile static home park she has ordered a plot of land with gas water and electric supply for £10,000 after this she will get her brand new 38 foot by 12 foot mobile home put on the prepared site , then all you pay then is £65 a month ground rent , council tax and bills , we actually went to see three different homes on there the people living on site did not mind us looking round their homes and  of course each one was different from the last  , but all had what we would need a kitchen , bathroom ,  living room and bedroom , a big plus would be decking around the end and side with a awning to pull out and  their  be plenty of room for patio furniture table and chairs and  a barbecue along with planters and tubs.

At one time Helen would not have considered this when i mentioned it now she seems to be more inclined so who knows we would have loads of extra cash per month form our wages but would have less money left from the sale of our house if any.

Pluses would be Pip our dog would be sorted it be cheap maintenance it would not cost much to furnish and  we could change the layout inside easier enough removing and repositioning the walls and  to fit a new kitchen and bathroom would be cheap too .
To re-clad the exterior would be cheap and to put a pitched  roof on would keep it cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

FRIDAY OFF

We are getting addicted to our tropical fish tank i can honestly say i love watching the fish swim around it is totally relaxing and calming  specially after a stressful shitty day at work , i was thinking that need some background music playing  to go with the fish swimming  around i was thinking of Jean Michelle Jarre oxygen in the last two days we have added another four fish all are doing fine, plus another one today that we bought from a aquarium shop that as been established for years he had really nice Pleco's but we will have to wait until the tank is more mature.

Tumblr photo because life is not always black and white

Meet my daughter and her  Boyfriend for the first time at a local pub , we ordered some food Helen and the others had scampi , and  i had chicken curry i also had a white T-shirt on i did not get anything down the front of it which is not like me., they also  had Strongbow pear cider on draught never had it on draught before and it was OK but not as good as Koppaberg just had two pints . We stayed a few hours it was hot this was at half four we did not stay longer as my daughter is going to Cocoon in the park tomorrow a music DJ event and her boyfriend had only a few hours sleep  he had  been working nights and was knackered  i know the feeling.

We called round at Helen parents house before going home , just  for a coffee in the garden , her mother wanted a reading doing so they followed us home , on the way home i stopped of at the supermarket and bought chocolate cake ,strawberries and cream  what decadence.

Another bonus my son called round on his Suzuki Bandit which was a nice surprise he wanted to borrow money he never asks me for cash so i didn't mind he is having girl trouble to boot.

Bought the sound track of the film "Eat Pray Love"  on CD for Helen  she as been trying to get for a while i got it of eBay as its ages been ages since i bought a proper CD  , i also  got a digital thermometer for the fish tank which have been my only two eBay purchases for a while .

Wanting - More sun and more days off.

Needing - To be near the sea and on the beach

Watching - Itv Documentary "Possession".

WORK SUCKS

The sun is shinning again today and  i broke up last night for a three day weekend and i cant wait.
Work must really suck if i am getting giddy about three days off  , i wish more than anything i had a interesting job , and  i wish i earned more money i be happy earning what i was earning twenty years ago if it was indexed linked i be on around 55k a year rather than 23k a year which is a massive difference. Today is all about spending power and  i don't believe you can live cheaply anymore , on a low income you are working to pay the bills and and rent and  the old saying two can live as cheaply as one is bullshit too.

It is no point wishing or moaning at least i have a job and i can earn extra money by working overtime which is hard when it is red hot and most days i hate the job but least i am getting paid more an hour which helps to easy the pain .
The first  hour of any shift  is ok , its the other seven remaining  hours  which do my head in .the other supervisors i work with are great , it is the bone idol  lazy staff , that make the job twice as hard .

Well i am now finished work i can watch the fish swim and feel the heat beat down on my head and hopefully have a few cold ones going down my throat .
We are meeting up with my daughter this afternoon with her boyfriend who we  have never meet before he works away from home  a lot and she looks after his house , he fills the fridge up with my daughters favorite food and drink while he is working away so i figure that he cant be that bad his name is Lee so that's cool .

STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM

Tuesday i had training all day boring but as it was paid as  overtime i went  , even though it was a very hot day hottest day yet specially  in a class room without air conditioning , but  i survived the turmoil of it all  then at four o clock went back to work to finish the rest of my shift until ten o clock that night , Helen wanted me to finish a lot earlier and come home for a barbecue but  it was not possible instead i booked all of Friday off so i get a long weekend ,and  hopefully the sun will continue to shine.

I continue to eat strawberries and ice cream or double cream and i am continuing to drink ice cold pear cider it is what summer is all about , and  this Friday hopefully we will have our first  barbecue of the year i mainly will have chicken kebabs and fresh  hand made sausages and burgers with onions and peppers and tomato  skewers .

Its been a week since the survey was done and we have heard nothing about a completion date will give it this week and will contact our solicitor to see what is what.
Not heard nothing about the car as far as i know it is getting built someone said it is getting hand built by robots seems weird concept that robots  have hands and are in some way human .

We have bought today another seven fish two yellow fish and five red eyed tetras so far no losses still loving the blue led neon lighting it was a good investment .

Well today is my last shift then three days off so i am happy i know the three days will fly by its still a nice break i have loads more days to take i get over six weeks off so far i have had three days off.

Thinking - be nice to move whilst it's still summer

Wanting - Panini grill for my chicken fajita wraps

Wishing for - completion dates for house and car

WORK AND SUN

Yesterday i was at work at seven am the sun was already out and shining bright i was able to finish at half past five.1 went home got changed and went to my Nephew's house for my sisters 65th birthday for a get together to have a barbeque and a few drinks.
My  Daughter was there i have not seen her for a while so it was good to see and catch up with what she is up to her she has a new boyfriend he works away and was not with her.

My Nephews house has a decent size garden and decking to the front porch , we stayed after everyone else had gone home and we watched the bats come out when it got to dusk and fly around our heads , later we heard foxes in the bushes he has had up to seven foxes in his garden some nights but we only got to hear them.

I took my daughter back to her boyfriends house the other side of Leeds just after midnight before heading back home , she came to our house to see Pip and Harvey our dog and cat she loves them both when we move she might end up looking after one for us,

Today as been just as hot as the weekend gone and it is going to last a few weeks yet ,  i want a barbeque this weekend one where i don't have to drive home from ,so i can  have a few drinks listen to some music and eat well done sausages and chicken legs until the sun goes in.

VERY HOT SATURDAY

Made the decision to take the sand out of the fish tank and replace it with gravel , we should have used gravel in the first place.
We put the fish in to a plastic bucket with the heater whilst we totally emptied the tank then hosed it out IN the garden we cleaned the rocks and plants and washed the bog wood filter and its pads and ceramics then washed the new aquarium gravel  we went out and bought first thing this morning , then we  replaced and everything back in to the tank the end result is a crystal clear water.

We added more solution to dechlorinate the tap water and had to wait for the water to reach temperature again before adding the fish.

All the fish survived and the little five Neon's are again  happily swimming around a very clean tank with very clean water and hopefully some bacteria.

This afternoon we went out and i bought four Diamond Tetra's  the scales of these fish shimmer and at night under the blue tank light will look like a totally different fish .We saw some beautiful Discuss they cost £25 each but the tank as to be set right and  running for at least six weeks before we add a couple of these,

I am working tomorrow Sunday today as been one of the hottest days so far this year , i had to go out to the chemist and buy some anti histamine tablets , as  my hay fever started up and is making life difficult usually these tablets do the job pretty fast within twenty four hours.

Helen has two readings tonight did one last night and had two people attending her class as well this week.

I need food last night for tea we had pancakes maple syrup  and ice cream today i have had a bacon in half a french stick with cherry tomatoes , a fish eats more than this ,  saying that fish and chips with scraps a large bread cake and carton of Chinese curry sauce with some rock salt thrown on the chips and a decent coffee sounds delightful.

Tumblr picture -  this mermaid looks stunning wonder where i can get one of these plus a open air tank .

FISHY

We was back at the pet shop today we bought a neon blue led 16" strip light which i fitted to the inside of the aquarium lid we also bought another 15 watt day light bulb and removed the blue moon night one light is now equally being omitted on both sides of the tank.

We also took a sample of water for ph testing and to check bacteria levels the bacteria is too low so we bought five Neon's to add to the aquarium they are hardy little fish and hopefully all five will live and we will have no bellies up.

I also bought a green fish net i always wanted Helen in pink fish nets but that's another tale.
Course we bought the most essential item yet tropical fish flakes got to feeder the little swimmers  , we was going to buy some Plecos but cant until we have algae forming inside the tank otherwise we will have to feed the Plecos different food which can cause problems , but so far so good twelve hours later all five fishes are still with us.

I can say it is very tranquil and relaxing watching what fish do naturally  i feel like Jacques Cousteau . "From birth man , carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to the earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free. a quote fro the great man himself who also happened to have invented the Aqua lung.

Well the sun is supposedly to becoming for the next two weeks we are marked down as having a heat wave believe it when the sun is in my eyes and my skin is sweating and i sleep on top of the bed .
I am working Sunday a twelve hour shift seven in the morning until seven at night it be rude not to seeing its paid double time the hourly rate will be about what we should be getting for working normal hours .

I cant wait to move house now its going through better sooner than later we can sort our life's out and make the move buy stuff we need and get settled in and start living the life we have asked for , i know it is never as you imaging it but least it will be adapt it change it or get rid of it or reinvent it and start again , i have played the trailer it is  time to watch the movie no pause button or rewind the play button is pressed and its glued down , time to throw the script away and start writing it has it happens.

Hopefully people will get the picture of what is happening by following and  reading this blog , they will see the changes and the new beginnings and the new happenings  , so hopefully watch this space and read these lines  in the next four to six weeks things are going to change.

2ND TIME WITHIN REASON

Well the second survey on the house was completed today so hopefully one step nearer to green fields and pastures new .

The fish tank looks nearly clear so maybe another day before we can add some fish , we want to start with a couple of  Pleco's half a dozen lamp heads and half a dozen  neon's to see how they cope.

I have eaten too much home made lasagne and chips for supper Helen did  say have as much as you like obviously it was my mistake , she meant within reason. Think i might go for a lie down before bed .

FISHY BUSINESS

Bought another four plants to add to the aquarium , this time  a couple of red leaf plants to go with the green  it all adds colour.

Also bought an air pump and some air line along with a check valve and a medium sized air ring we now have bubbles in the tank , its like farting in the bath a mini jacuzzi for fish , the water is still cloudy but it is improving we also added some quick start bacteria solution so we are all up to speed also bought a thermometer that sticks to the side of the tank it is crap it is not registering or showing  any temperature.

For what i have already spent i could have bought a ipad mini and down load  an aquarium live wallpaper with artificial fish no why didn't i think of that earlier.

I go back to work tomorrow four days goes pretty quick today as been wet grey and rainy i don't think summer is happening at all this year .

POND LIFE

Last night we went to GBK gourmet burger king in Leeds city centre mainly because Burger King was shut down just the drive through was open ,  Helen had a chicken burger with bacon and avocado and i had a beef burger with  mushroom and horseradish sauce with a side order of jalapenos we had two lots of skinny fries and one side order of onion rings , along with two bottles of coke ice and lemon and the bill was just pennies short of £32.00.

We went home for coffee and to watch Jason Statham's new film "Redemption" not sure as to why in the U.K the films  title is "Hummingbird" why the difference i am not sure so feel free to enlighten me .

Today we went to Ikea we bought Pip our Jack Russell three new blankets in each of the following colors purple ,orange and beige we also bought her a red pillow for her basket.

After we went to Pet at Home and bought a 64 litre  fish tank with heater , pump  it has  blue and white lights for day and night , we bought two large rocks for £13.00 and a tree branch looks like mango tree also costing £13.00 but i am only guessing we bought sand and carbon filters for the pump , and three living plants , plus a back picture of rocks and plants to fix on the outside of the tank , the tank was originally £125 with 30% off which dropped the price to £84 brilliant , when we got it to the check out and the bar code was  scanned in it came up as £90.00 so they knocked 30% off that price and it came to £67.00 even better.
The mango wood or branch  is in the bath soaking and we are going to set up the rest of  the tank later tonight when Helen has finished her psychic class which will be around  midnight , but .it could be up to a week before any fish and other pond life go in .

My son Guy has begun working with a tree surgeon he did a couple of days with the owner of the company a while ago and looks like he will end up working with him full time fingers crossed .
