FISHY

We was back at the pet shop today we bought a neon blue led 16" strip light which i fitted to the inside of the aquarium lid we also bought another 15 watt day light bulb and removed the blue moon night one light is now equally being omitted on both sides of the tank.

We also took a sample of water for ph testing and to check bacteria levels the bacteria is too low so we bought five Neon's to add to the aquarium they are hardy little fish and hopefully all five will live and we will have no bellies up.

I also bought a green fish net i always wanted Helen in pink fish nets but that's another tale.
Course we bought the most essential item yet tropical fish flakes got to feeder the little swimmers  , we was going to buy some Plecos but cant until we have algae forming inside the tank otherwise we will have to feed the Plecos different food which can cause problems , but so far so good twelve hours later all five fishes are still with us.

I can say it is very tranquil and relaxing watching what fish do naturally  i feel like Jacques Cousteau . "From birth man , carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to the earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free. a quote fro the great man himself who also happened to have invented the Aqua lung.
NO MORE POST ABOUT FISH AND TANKS PROMISE

4 TO SIX

Well the sun is supposedly to becoming for the next two weeks we are marked down as having a heat wave believe it when the sun is in my eyes and my skin is sweating and i sleep on top of the bed .
I am working Sunday a twelve hour shift seven in the morning until seven at night it be rude not to seeing its paid double time the hourly rate will be about what we should be getting for working normal hours .

I cant wait to move house now its going through better sooner than later we can sort our life's out and make the move buy stuff we need and get settled in and start living the life we have asked for , i know it is never as you imaging it but least it will be adapt it change it or get rid of it or reinvent it and start again , i have played the trailer it is  time to watch the movie no pause button or rewind the play button is pressed and its glued down , time to throw the script away and start writing it has it happens.

Hopefully people will get the picture of what is happening by following and  reading this blog , they will see the changes and the new beginnings and the new happenings  , so hopefully watch this space and read these lines  in the next four to six weeks things are going to change.

2ND TIME WITHIN REASON

Well the second survey on the house was completed today so hopefully one step nearer to green fields and pastures new .

The fish tank looks nearly clear so maybe another day before we can add some fish , we want to start with a couple of  Pleco's half a dozen lamp heads and half a dozen  neon's to see how they cope.

I have eaten too much home made lasagne and chips for supper Helen did  say have as much as you like obviously it was my mistake , she meant within reason. Think i might go for a lie down before bed .

FISHY BUSINESS

Bought another four plants to add to the aquarium , this time  a couple of red leaf plants to go with the green  it all adds colour.

Also bought an air pump and some air line along with a check valve and a medium sized air ring we now have bubbles in the tank , its like farting in the bath a mini jacuzzi for fish , the water is still cloudy but it is improving we also added some quick start bacteria solution so we are all up to speed also bought a thermometer that sticks to the side of the tank it is crap it is not registering or showing  any temperature.

For what i have already spent i could have bought a ipad mini and down load  an aquarium live wallpaper with artificial fish no why didn't i think of that earlier.

I go back to work tomorrow four days goes pretty quick today as been wet grey and rainy i don't think summer is happening at all this year .

POND LIFE

Last night we went to GBK gourmet burger king in Leeds city centre mainly because Burger King was shut down just the drive through was open ,  Helen had a chicken burger with bacon and avocado and i had a beef burger with  mushroom and horseradish sauce with a side order of jalapenos we had two lots of skinny fries and one side order of onion rings , along with two bottles of coke ice and lemon and the bill was just pennies short of £32.00.

We went home for coffee and to watch Jason Statham's new film "Redemption" not sure as to why in the U.K the films  title is "Hummingbird" why the difference i am not sure so feel free to enlighten me .

Today we went to Ikea we bought Pip our Jack Russell three new blankets in each of the following colors purple ,orange and beige we also bought her a red pillow for her basket.

After we went to Pet at Home and bought a 64 litre  fish tank with heater , pump  it has  blue and white lights for day and night , we bought two large rocks for £13.00 and a tree branch looks like mango tree also costing £13.00 but i am only guessing we bought sand and carbon filters for the pump , and three living plants , plus a back picture of rocks and plants to fix on the outside of the tank , the tank was originally £125 with 30% off which dropped the price to £84 brilliant , when we got it to the check out and the bar code was  scanned in it came up as £90.00 so they knocked 30% off that price and it came to £67.00 even better.
The mango wood or branch  is in the bath soaking and we are going to set up the rest of  the tank later tonight when Helen has finished her psychic class which will be around  midnight , but .it could be up to a week before any fish and other pond life go in .

My son Guy has begun working with a tree surgeon he did a couple of days with the owner of the company a while ago and looks like he will end up working with him full time fingers crossed .

MARK OF THE CROSS

We went for Sunday breakfast to the 11th Earl we had the full Monty but did not over do it  , Helen went back to bed when we got home and  i woke her up at two in the afternoon .

We went to a farm in Tong a few miles from our house that makes ice cream we had a three scoop chocolate cornet , banana , coconut and toffee flavors i had mine with a stick of fudge .Helen had double cream ,chocolate and vanilla with a flake the place was packed £7.40 for two cones there was a queue to served and the car park was packed they even do a apple pie and custard flavor .

After we went to Adel church that dates back to Norman times , and  we found out way the paving stones leading up to the chapel door and around the perimeter of the church have a cross cut and etched  in to their face the mark of the cross goes right the way through the slab , we was told  its to prevent them from being lifted and removed  by thieves to sell to reclamation yards even the ornate door handle was  taken a few years ago and an exact copy was  made , the original l had survived hundreds of years before bring removed .

DESTINATION THE SAME

Well it is coming up to pay day which is midnight tonight and i have booked  Monday and Tuesday off annual leave so it is going to be a long weekend.
Hopefully we will go to the Brazilian restaurant for skewers of meat and ice cold beers on the Monday afternoon , need to buy a few goodies too.

The people buying our house have had to change mortgage lenders so it has slowed down the sale it is still going ahead and another survey needs to be done so fingers crossed we will have our sale buy the end of next month , even if we had another buyer to go it would still be the same length of time so we just have to play ball and hang in there , i always said it would be August might be the end of July which i guess is the same difference we are getting to where we ant to be a  step at a time rather than in leaps but the destination remains the same .

Watching - Da Vinci's demons this is an absolute brilliant series every episode i have watched as been as good as the last .
Also watching Hannibal this is just as good have to start  watch Graceland .

Reading - still with Arnold's Schwarzenegger Total Recall pick it up its a entertaining read.

Listening to Stone Roses . Sterophonics , and The Fray.

Wanting - another Google Nexus 7 .

Waiting for - Selling the  house and get out of here asp .

Hoping for - Hot days blue skies ice cold pear cider in a country pub .

GOOD ADVICE

Helen had a thirty something male turn up for a reading , his wife had been previously months earlier and had her reading done recorded on a mp3 player than burned to disc like everyone else does no one has ever refused this service .
on the sleeve of the cd cover  is a sticker with Helen's details on her web address and mobile phone number .
He had found the cd and had played it , on the disc his wife is asking Helen's advice about starting an affair with another man she knew with the view of eventually leaving her husband.
Helen had told her not to do it she felt her husband truly madly deeply loved her was her soul mate his love was unequalled and came from the heart and soul  , and this new man she was thinking of seeing with a view to starting an illicit affair Helen said that she felt that this new man  was a no hoper and a major user and a chancer that  he would never commit to her  and did not love her one bit ,  and that spirit was telling her to say that she was not to do it that she had to stay with her husband .

She told the lady she felt she should make a effort with her husband go out and date again ,to  hold hands and  go to the pictures do things they use to do get drunk have sex in the afternoon and  re kindle old passions and remember what first attracted them to each other. and  basically to put the effort in to having an a new affair with her husband  she married to meet him after work get a hotel room  or phone in sick at work and spend the day together etc etc and that it would all come good .

Well the woman and  lady in question must have took Helen's advice to the letter  and did just that .

After the listening to the cd the man made an appointment mainly to meet Helen and to thank her for saving his marriage and  they where both back  on track and where madly in love again and they were happier than they had been in a long time and both of them committed to making their marriage work , the man felt he  had to see Helena because he felt he owed her and it is always nice to put a face to a voice on a cd recording and it was down to her that his marriage was saved and they both realised you got to work sometimes to keep what you have , you have to remember the first dates YOU HAD TOGETHER and  the butterflies and racing heart beats and you must keep love alive because if you don't feed it regular it can starve it's self to nothing fade away and die.

FISH BUT NOT FOR TEA

Helen had a reading last night that lasted nearly three hours two women turned up totally unexpected it was only suppose to be one person only , so i had to go upstairs with my laptop and Pip our dog  i ended up falling asleep as i was on our bed with our dog Pip , i had a weird dream i woke up by the time i went down stairs i had forgotten it , it was gone in a instance don't you just hate it when that happens , anyway fifty pounds is fifty pounds and we need money

Sunday night deja vu another one person booked in two turned up so i had to go to the bed room again with Pip our dog and the laptop another fifty pounds earned ., we had a joint of gammon cooking and a chicken cooking whilst they where having the readings done  we are having it with honey roasted parsnips sprouts and peas gravy and mash .

I want my tattoo doing not sure if i can afford the first booking this month i have the car to tax which is £153 for the next six months and i want to take Helen and  go to Fazenda to pig out on meat skewers and beer so might have to wait a month as they say the best things are worth waiting for i can wait and i am patient .
Also looked at some cameras and laptops and at the pet shop we viewed some  fish tanks and accessories i want a wrecked helicopter to put inside the aquarium or a aeroplane but only if it is a German plane they sell British and American war planes which is a bit macabre if you are British born and breed , We really like  marine fish but  i guess we would end up getting  cold water goldfish instead mainly because they are easy to keep and easier if we move if we get a big enough tank will get some plants and rocks as well.

WET SATURDAY

It is Saturday my favorite day of the week by far and Helen is going to get her nails done in Sheffield with her friend Jess and i am going to chill out on the settee and watch a couple of films or i might just stay on my laptop and surf , as  the skies are dark and very grey and it looks like it is going to pour down with rain any time soon  .

So before that happens i am going to go out and get some milk a ready made curry and a cheesecake i have nan bread already so at least my dinner is sorted.

I have also a new tv series to start to watch "Graceland" the trailers look ok so i have the first three episodes to watch along with "The Purge" and "Dead man down" and the last three episodes of Hannibal so bored i wont  be.

I am going to start to post a picture from Tumblr i trail through Tumblr when i am board and look for photos that appeal to me they can vary wildly so i was thinking to post a favorite one each time i blog starting form this post . so below is a photo that appeals to me this motorway or freeway its just a great shot i don't know if this has been photo shopped or not but its still a good photo it reminds me of a roller coaster , there is a similar road coming back from  Trafford centre but it is not as long

CHANGE IT

Took Helen to the doctor's this morning at half past nine they are referring her for a heart scan ecg mainly because her heart beat stops and she has a murmur so as a precautionary measure they are getting her checked out.

Moving to the country side might beneficial for our health Helen is still not using the electronic cigarette i bought her which is a bit annoying well it is a lot annoying specially as it would improve her health the best thing i think she can do for her health is to stop smoking , but thing is i don't preach and i do go and buy her cigs when she asks me perhaps it is me who should say no.

Helen as a few readings booked , one today two tomorrow and one on Saturday and another one on Sunday as i don't get paid until next Thursday it is a good job.

James Gandolfini as died age 51 he had  a massive heart attack whilst holidaying in Italy ,  he is the actor that  played Tony Soprano in the t,v series The Soprano's , his son looks like he is going the same way hope he takes heed and alters his life style.

Saying that i am not Mr Fit myself and i need to alter the way i live hopefully next few weeks this will change  when we get out of the city and live in a village so close to the moors where walking and hiking become a daily pursuit and maybe bike riding .

TATTS

Went to black crown tattoo shop near were i work to ask about a cover up covering a cover up on the top of my right arm he reckons it can be done might cost in the region of £320 eighty pound a hour is his  charges the artist name is Fil Wood.
He as suggested a koi carp with water and japanese flora as i have already got various oriental dragons this would tie in and look pretty good he reckons i will need a quarter sleeve doing to make sure the size and proportions are correct to cover the existing tattoo up ,  all i have to decide is when .

Work is hot and boring the office is airless no windows no air conditioning no natural light it is getting depressing it is not fit for purpose it is a sweat box and with all the rooms in the hospital why we are in this holding cell is beyond me we are next door to a skip hold that all the clinical and pharmecutical and offensious waste we are like rats in the sewer.

The people buying our house have had a hiccup with their mortgage as he works two jobs and one is self employed , which they wont or have not took in to account which in turn as affected how much they building society or bank will lend them they are having to sort it out which will take a few days more.

I DONT LIKE MONDAYS

Still using my i-phone to tether to the Internet it is achieving excellent download speeds and so far i am not missing a proper Internet connection , it makes me wonder if i ever want to go back paying for a service that  i access through using my phone , at the end of the day its one bill less to pay and when we eventually move out of here we need to save money where ever possible .

We still have not had a completion date and it is starting to piss me off we need to know how far the light is at the end of the tunnel , we seem to be trading water and we are starting to get cramp why do the power's that be take so fcuking long we are selling a house , i need to call the solicitor and get answers if we don't get any mail today letting us know.

The car i will give them another two weeks before i start getting on their case , as i have been told it takes a while up to three months in some instances  because my employment contract has to be altered  to reflect the cost of the car , another thing i could do with getting sorted sooner rather than later.

Not sure why but i cant be arsed going to work , as the Boomtown Rats said "I don't like Mondays" of course  i will do but i feel like i want to stay at home and do nothing but chill read drink coffee and watch films , might have to book some time off but then again i might as well wait until the house is sold .

Defo going to start to do better things like go to the movies eat out more and go to the pub more even if its only for one drink or a pint , i do not want to do the same routine that we do know also i want a mountain bike and a camera hopefully i can sell prints online and make some extra cash or do village fetes and fairs or car boots , need an alternative income .

Helen is still doing readings she has quite a few booked in this week she has also teaching two people and is learning to do past life regression which is very interesting , once we move it will mean building a new client list up or doing readings via Skpe or the phone which means setting a pay now icon on her web site , she will also have to have new business cards done and update her website .http://www.serenityeternal.co.uk/Home.html for all you none believers read her guest book every one is genuine post nothing added or taken out.

AS MUCH HAS

We drove around to day and covered quite a lot of the areas surrounding Leeds Branham , Bramhope ,Sherburn , and Aberford,

Also in the opposite direction and in areas closer to Wakefield , yet found nothing to compare with Holfmfirth nowhere else is suited to our needs , so i guess  i am just going to have to put up with the commute to and from work and the cost of petrol .

I want to get a place a new home and get moved in and out of here i just want to get packed and unpacked at the other end .

I want to go shopping and buy stuff that we will need for our new abode i am looking forward to getting settled in and buying new stuff  we will need all new white appliances for a kick off , i want a panini press and a computer desk maybe i want to try and find a dvd player that will play mp4 files via usb drive .

We went for a stroll down to the canal at Leeds city centre will have to spend a afternoon there dining and drinking we want to go to a Brazilian restaurant that serves you meat after meat you have a card one side it is red and one is green when you show the red side it means enough and the waiters stop bringing the food when you turn it to green they start again , sounds good to me.

Too much meat to pick from chicken, lamb, pork and different cuts of steaks apparently if you are vegetarian you get a discount .
Their is as much salad as you can eat as well , and as much beer as you can drink the catch is the beer you have to pay for preferably before you fall over or pass out.

We are having lamb chops we have eight between us and a pan full off boiled new potatoes for supper .

IN THE MEANTIME

I have made two  Tuna and mayo sandwiches for myself  with spring onion and black pepper one in wholemeal and one in white , Helen is doing her egg mayo i am feed up with egg mayo well for a while anyway.

And the camera is fully charged i am using my Fuji fine pix F20 it looks like it is going to rain but what the heck.

We went to a few letting agents and got a few print outs of different lets and also a few houses  to buy a really nice house for £137k we would not get a mortgage on a house at this price but if we could i would have signed up for it today http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/29166937 it be perfect in the mean time we hope we can get a similar house to rent.

JUICE AND PAPERS

Well it is Friday night it is pissing down just had tea and its twenty past eleven and it is nearly the weekend .
Looking at houses both to buy and to rent , you can get a great house for £125k stone built nice kitchen with nice gardens and quite a bit of character.Who knows at the moment it is a guessing game and we cant do much to alter this until we get a completion date.

I think tomorrow if it is raining it will be chill out day might get food in for breakfast we have films to watch might be a morning of coffee fresh orange juice and news papers to read and just chill out all day .

BACK ON DAYS

Working until two in the morning starting at two in the afternoon was suppose to do this all week last night was the last one i go back on to my normal shift of 14.00 - 22.00  today .

Still waiting for a completion date hopefully this week , and still waiting for confirmation for a delivery date on the Nissan Juke , Once we get a completion date we can start looking at rented properties where we want to live in Holmfirth.

So it is all just the same for the time being , we have boxes ready to pack and not much else i would not mind a completion date for end of July , just because it gives us more time , still when ever it is the day we move will be here before we know it and new beginnings will start hopefully without any major hiccups once we have a house we can start to put our life's back together , things is we are going to do it on a budget we will need a new cooker a  washer and  dryer and a fridge freezer and seating for the living room .
After that the rest is decoration , we have all our bedroom furniture we need we might get under bed storage containers but the more spare space we have , it is obvious we will fill it which does not help if we plan on moving every so often , unless we get the right house to start with .

SUNNY SUNDAY SHOPPING

Went to Trafford centre at Manchester in the car we listened to the Stone Roses  and Oasis's two famous bands from Manchester , that was after we had been to the 11th Earl for full English  breakfast.

I bought a Fat Face t-shirt for £22.00 in white that says "Summer Life is Out There " , then went to over to The Pen Shop and bought some black bought a couple of months ago and that i use every day at work , black ink never fades that is why it is used for documentation like remembrance books signing the register when you get married death and birth records at local town halls and churches etc the writing you leave behind will be around forever nice.

At The Pen Shop i thought they had free magazine as it they was out side the shop on a stand , it is called Art pens and  Culture , so  i took one and put it in my carrier bag , taht i was carrying my t-shirt in. It was only when i got it home that i noticed it in fact was to buy and it retailed at  £5.95 , oops sorry .

I bought a ice cold strawberry Frappuccinno with cream venti  from Starbuck's to take out in to the sun whilst Helen had a couple of Proper cigarettes which  have now gone up to £7.11p a packet and that's getting them cheap .

We did stop in Leeds City centre on the way back Helen bought two summer jersey dresses that a shop did not have in her size in Manchester , parking once i am commuting from Holmfirth will be £3.00 a day , with a ten minute walk to the Hospital where i work which i would do in my break , after six it is free parking .

The weather as been good now for a full  week with blue skies and  hot days with  no or little cloud and a light breeze just to take the edge of  so fingers crossed it lasts it has not been that hot it disturbs my sleep that i cant get to sleep or that its too warm i cant go to sleep .

Watched -  "Bullet To The Head ".

To Watch - I Give It A Year ,  Great British Comedy

Listening to - Stone Roses and Oasis's

Yet to play -  "40 Years of Pacha " .

Wanting - Hermes aftershave , sampled it today it is good and it lasts.

Needing - Completion date for sale of house

INKED

Might go out today and buy something nice for myself not sure what just think i need a treat like a couple of glossy magazines some aftershave a new razor or a couple of autobiography's i want to read i have books on my google but i just might by paperback versions instead there is still a place for wet razor rather than electric or a film camera rather than digital camera nostalgia is a good thing sometimes .

I do need new underpants ,  i bought ten new pairs of socks this week and i am debating whether or not to get some sun glasses mainly because i look a twat in shades , shades and hats don't seem to suit me i could never wear a baseball hat or a bennie hat i just look the worlds biggest twat , i don't know what it is everyone else seems to get away with it , i do not yet i screw my eyes up when it is sunny and i could do with them when i am driving as i am constantly adjusting the sun visor in the car whilst driving.

Picture below is of Helen's youngest son Liam he had his first tattoo today he is in to music DJ,ing and mixing tracks he wants to work in a city night club ,  he wanted a tattoo to reflect his passion for music as far as i am aware someone he knows did it in his house i think all he paid was  forty pounds which seems reasonable.

DOING NOTHING MUCH

Love it when you go late night shopping and at the shelf service check outs you find twenty pounds on the floor and no one to claim it , well it will fuel the car for our trips out Saturday and Sunday.

Just had a lamb currie with garlic nan and onion bhaji not a  ideal time one in the morning but one has to eat when one can.

Had my haircut today by a local barber on Town Street near to where we live i have never been there before and don't know anyone who has , it was cut considerably good and will go back there but then again if we are moving house guess i will neither have to get it cut on the weekend or find a local hairdresser that are as good.

Helen did have two proper cigs today but still that's good if she can manage to stay with the e-cig i think she will quit smoking real cigs for good but i think it will take her time before she completely finishes with proper cigarettes .

Helen went to get her hair dyed blonde and also ended up getting a spray tan blonde and tan goes together as do faded jeans and a white t-shirt.

Whilst she was in the hairdressers i went to my favorite computer shop up Tong a few miles away i bumped in to a lad i use to see in the bars around Leeds 30 years ago  i saw him a few months ago and bumped in to him again today strange twice in a year as it happens he was buying a spare computer part his friend repairs pc will have to take him my Shuttle to sort out i quite like this if mine was unrepairable i think i would buy this machine  http://www.cclonline.com/product/108653/NoMfgCode/All-CCL-Desktops/CCL-Elite-Swallow-Mini-Gaming-PC/CCL-EL-SWA/ along with this monitor i like it because the screen starts and finishes more or less at the edge http://www.cclonline.com/product/99193/I2757FH/Monitors/AOC-Style-i2757Fh-27-inch-LED-Monitor/MON1261/  and these speakers http://www.cclonline.com/product/53821/CA-SP211UK/PC-Speakers/Corsair-SP2500-Gaming-2-1-Speaker-System/SPK1273/ if i got this i would buy a cheaper laptop then what i am thinking of at the moment i do prefer a desk top to a laptop but need the accessibility and functionalities of a laptop,

SLOW

Helen as smoked one real cigarette today 1st time in years this will have happened certainly never in the time i have been with her which must be six years as it ever happened once even  the times when she has been ill., she is grumpy though .

I was asked to work through the night saturday from six p.m until Sunday 6 a.m i turned it down as  i have  done over fifty hours this week already it would just fuck the weekend up specially as it's been hot all week and hopefully so is the weekend .

Still heard nothing from our lawyers that we are selling our house through guessing it cant be any longer than another six weeks until we exchange contracts and money is paid .

Doing twelve hour shifts as totally knackered me  and made the week go really slow i keep thinking it is Saturday and its only Friday , i just want to sleep my eyes are heavy and i cant get the picture of our big comfy bed out of my head.

Watching -  nothing

Craving - sleep

Wanting - sunny weekend

VIP

I have bought Helen a vip electronic cigarette and five 24mg nicotine capsules which is the equivalent of 200 cigs which cost only  £5.00 ,  200 cigs in the U.K would cost a whooping £70 so a big saving of £65 , plus no poisonous  tar is entering your blood stream you still get a hit or fix , loads of people at work are using these type or different versions all are saying they would not be going back to normal cigs , and all have said their breathing as improved and fitness levels and none of them  have put any weight on so all in all they are happy they made the switch.

WEEKEND GONE AGAIN

Had a breakfast sub this morning they have started using flat bread now had bacon sausage and egg with double cheese and a latte for the princely sum of  £2.50 cant complain you can usually get a coffee for that price .
Last night we went to the local fish shop and got a fish in a bread cake with scraps and a large curry sauce and two tins of ice cold coke , not the most of healthiest diets i know .

After our  Subway visit we went to Ikea bought a new rug curtains and curtain poles along with a shaving mirror toilet brush wall clock paper lantern shades two look like a white paper bag they was five pound each they are just paper and wire , this was for her son we also got him tooth past shampoo body wash deodorant spray and enough food to last him five days , seeing he as no fridge we have to be careful what we buy or it is just going to go off , Helen also took him down a load of washing he had left here as well as more duvet covers and pillow cases.

Helen had a telephone reading from Deborah Chamlers whom we went to see in Richmond and York whilst she was getting her reading it went on for well over a hour ,  i went to the supermarket and bought ice cream , apple and strawberry pie along with a freshly roasted chicken and freshly baked bread and two freshly hand made in store pizzas that us sorted.

Cant wait until we are buying new things for our little house or cottage in Holmfirth it is nice getting sorted in a new place and refitting out each room it is amazing what a few rugs and lampshades do to a room and it's overall appearance and it does not have to cost loads to achieve , unlike weekends furnishings are replaceable

What i desire :-
Panini press
Cafeteria
Stainless steel desk lamp

STAMP YOUR MARK

I moved Helen's son out today after we had been for breakfast , we also bought him a brand new microwave and a brand new deep fat fryer and a swing bin for his kitchen .we have also given him our sandwich toaster and our George Foreman grill .

It is a bit like the wild life rescue programme where they have reared a orphaned young animal and are letting it venture back in to the wild , you know you can only do so much then it is down to survival instinct and hopefully the will to survive kicks in , well it is down to him now.

We have also given to him two settees , two decent tv's one is a Samsung 38 inch which was donated by his younger half brother Liam , along with two cast iron beds with mattresses , two tv stands soft furnishings like towels bedding quilts duvets and rugs , plus three lamps with shades and a bedside cabinet , plates and cooking utensils even a hand blender a cheese grater a tin opener and potato peeler .

When i got my first place i bought six set of drawers to go down one side of my bedroom wall under the eaves and  i had a mattress on the floor , no i am not Japanese ,  and my stereo system including a  tape deck amp and tuner along with four speakers which resided on top of the drawers  , a red neon alarm clock and a few plants and posters.

The  the living room i had a leather settee two custom made wrought iron and mesh  trolleys that where powdered coated black which i used for my tv and video player and ghetto blaster there was no such things as dvd or blue ray player and a laminated pine wall unit that filled most of the back wall and that was it ,on the stairs i had  cork tiles glued on to the treads because i could not afford a stair carpet and rods .

In the kitchen i did have a brand new electrical cooker and a fridge with a decent ice box compartment .I had beaded curtains up in door ways and wicker roller blinds on the windows as soon as you personalise something it becomes you and you take more of a interest plus you look at different art and different sculptures lamps mirrors anything to make it individual and not main stream something to catch someones eye you try and stamp your mark .

Plus i had a pure black tom cat called Buster mainly for company he ate all the spiders , and use to sit on top of open doors and jump on you when you passed , scary stuff specially late at night when it was dark. .
Outside i had parked  a one year old Ford Escort with a very decent cassette deck , extra shelf and door speakers and graphic equalizer , but  most of all i had a job and i earned decent money a few months later i had a girl move in me who also earned good money , it is always easier with two specially  if you are both pulling in the same direction.

In the next few weeks we will be out shopping buying new stuff we need for our place this will be different to what we have now we will buy less but buy quality goods that will hopefully last and age with out dropping to bits thing is i cant wait bring it on i am excited and ecstatic i want to change and life differently new beginning's i did not get that impression from her son today he is going to be boring and cant be arsed attitude well if you cant doggy paddle your going to slowly sink or if you really cant be like throwing a  stone in a lake you will sink fast.

WORK IT OUT

Helen's eldest son has had a flat for a month now he has never moved in he is moving out this Saturday and is going to start living independently , it will be had but he is not in a cardboard box on the city street's , he as a two bedroom flat , he gets his rent paid and other bills pay as well and  he get's  dole money he will only starve if he chooses to spend money on beer and cigs and take away meals.

When Helen and i first got together we was living in a hotel room and had a bag of clothes each our phones and little else we started with nothing we are starting again with more than we had then plus money too.difference is we have worked for what we have got or got in to debt doing it her son has not had a job for the last five years if you don't work you will never have anything , he does not look for work that's why he does not have a job , looking for work is a full time job he does not put the effort in or the  hours in looking for employers or employment options , therefore he never as a wage to spend .

I am working till two am ever evening this week doing twelve hour shifts therefore next month i will have money to spend even if i spend all this months wage, Helen does readings she gets paid  ,you don't have to be Einstein to work it out ,we all need to work.

We both had enough we want to be miles away from here , and  we want a cottage or small house somewhere nice in the countryside rather than a bigger house somewhere awful in the city where we live in now in another ten years it will be a inner city ghetto , we have worked that much out already.

SCARY

My son called round on his Suzuki bandit 600cc motor bike with a spare helmet i got on the back he has a restrictor on it to limit its acceleration speed , it was still fast we did a few miles before we went back home , i use to buy him die cast models of motor bikes when he was younger we watched the film Torque i never thought one day i be on the back of a bike being driven by my son , what a great rush it was a natural high he has offered to take me farer i don't think my hip and joints could take it.When the restrictor comes off it will double the bikes acceleration ,scary

SUNNY SUNDAY

We went for a drive went to Holme which is basically just the next village to Holmfirth. We have driven through it before quite often, it has a long winding road one side of the village at the top there is an antenna mast and you still cant get a signal on your mobile phone you can see the mast for miles and the road must go on for a few miles up to the top it bends and  turns every twenty yards or so and its gradient very steep i am guessing around 40 degrees but  the view from the top is amazing and the ride down the other side is very scenic
There is a pub and a shop in Holme and that is about it  , on the plus side there is about twenty odd reservoirs in about a fifteen mile radius ,all are idyllic it is nearer to Saddleworth and Uppermill but the roads are accessible in winter by using Greenfield road to get in and out.

Holmfirth is fifteen minutes away there is every shop you need plus take away's and restaurants plus more pups if we can get a place there I would love it if we live close to anywhere around there I would love it as we'll it's all hills valleys moors and water and wild life and nature , one place is as good as another their is that many good places and villages around and about where we want to be I am easy .

I have five days of twelve hour shifts to this coming week all finishing at two in the morning , plus tomorrow is a bank holiday so  double time , next months wage should be half decent  ,as  need to earn plenty as the car needs a mot and it needs taxing too  always bills to pay never win .

Well the papers to apply for the Nissan Juke are all signed by myself and my immediate manager i have photo copied my driving license and given permission for my contract of employment to change if i get the car , it be a three year lease 12,000 miles a year for around £230 a month , all i do is add the diesel .

Boiled some eggs and had egg mayo sandwiches for tea this morning we had a all you can eat breakfast at the 11th Earl

TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY.

We might be able to buy another house a small  house or cottage can go for around a market value of 55k  to 60k tops and  if we put 30k down as a  deposit then we will only need a small mortgage which will be a quarter of what we are paying now and will be at least 50% less a month than renting a property .Plus we will be on the property ladder again even if the house we buy wont make loads of money but does not go into negative equity it has got to be better than renting , of course it will be small but if the setting is right and the location nice does it matter , a plus would be a average than  larger garden to the rear of the property , and it not being situated on a main road.

Today is sunny and warm Helen is on her way to Sheffield to get her nails done i am going out for a drive even if its just to shopping centre to do some  window shopping , it has got to be better than staying in doors.
The birds are signing in the garden the sky is blue people are cutting their grass and no doubt a few barbeque's will be getting fired up for a afternoon feast hopefully it will be just as good next weekend when i have been paid and hopefully there will be ice cold pear cider in the fridge and fresh meat and chicken in the fridge waiting to be cooked out of doors on a charcoal pit , with The Stereophonic's and Coldplay playing on the i-pod.

NOMADS

Well D-day is approaching although we have not had a date to exchange contracts it cant be that far off maybe only a month , at most it could be six weeks.

I have seen my line manager and said i need a few weeks of  work so i can sort out somewhere to live and get our belongings in to  storage until we have a place to call home .

Hopefully Helen needs to sort out a provisional license and organize driving lessons and get her test passed and booked this would make life a lot easier for her and me i cant remember the last time i was a passenger in a car , when you drive it is amazing what you miss when you are concentrating on other cars drivers and roads.

I took some cardboard boxes last night i got six and will get another six tonight as i am working until two in the morning and have the car it is an ideal time .

I hope we never regret selling our home and hopefully maybe someday have enough money and time to buy another property but i have a feeling i will never have another mortgage attached to my name whether this is good or bad i am not sure , there is pluses and minuses on both accounts , my age would mean more than likely i be paying a mortgage until the day i die anyway so what is the difference paying rent , maybe we should have waited another ten years to sell up but time dictates are needs.

The scary part is being in no mans land being in a void of being homeless or rather nomadic i prefer the term nomadic or living off grid which wont be truly true but you get the picture.
I need a large well made strong canvas bag with compartments and sturdy  zips and carrying handles and shoulder straps , i also need a suitable wash bag and laptop bag , Helen will need the same , i my car i have a lockable compartment in the floor of the boot that could hold tablets , phones cameras and documents we need .who knows we might even need a couple of sleeping bags if we end up sleeping in the car a couple of nights , that be fun wont it.

PROGRESS

The house is still going through and is still in the hands of the solicitors that are handling the sale so far so good .We have had the finally settlement figure that we owe the building society for the house.

The weather although humid is not great the sun is briefly putting in a half hearted appearance which always is at the wrong time and is also short lived it could do a lot better must try harder.
End of this month we should be on our own again and getting the house sorted ready for the move , i will have chance this week to start collecting cardboard boxes so we can start to pack our belongings we have bags and suitcases for clothes, and no doubt i will be going to the local refuse tip a few times in the run up to us moving out ,Let the games commence.

I am looking forward to a new life miles away from here and were we have lived the last six years , we will know no one and discovering places cafes parks walks and waterways will be fun going on picnics and walking on a weekend will benefit us both , moving out of our house in to Holmfirth might but a extra few years on to our life span , as it is way less polluted than living on a main road more fresh air and hopefully less stressful ,

I cant believe it takes twelve weeks to order my car through work i thought they was built by robots that don't need tea breaks get sick or need holidays , cant they program them to run turbo mode.

I have eight twelve hour shifts to do starting today two in the afternoon until  two in the  morning one of them is a bank holiday so it will be 23 hours pay not bad and i am not moaning , just be glad when its done at least i have the weekend of in between.

LONG WAIT COMING

Got eight days of twelve hour shifts two whilst two coming up , first one is starting Wednesday night untill Friday then all next week Mon through to Friday.
A least it will boost my months wage for next month plus i will have a bank holiday and some other overtime i have already done , at least i can drive to work in the car.
Applied for the lease car and i have been told by other workers at work that it can take a few weeks to get the car through once you have signed and submitted the paperwork , and some are saying a few months which i cant see it being that long it  seems way  too long but  if i have to wait that long then i guess i have no choice but to wait , will have to use my car even if we move to Holmfirth.

GLEAMING

Sunday started of sunny now its dark and cloudy then the sun came out so i manage to cut the grass at the front and rear of the  house and as it was still sunny i also manage to wash , vac and wax the car , believe me when i say it was way over due specially the interior and as a added bonus i  finally got the heater and the blower in the car working again i manage to find the  loose wire that needed connecting  , the car looks really good when it is all polished , black always shines nice when it as been waxed and polished  , while i was cleaning my car a new black Nissan Juke passed me , which is what want  hopefully through work fingers crossed  it will be my next car .
Saying that my Freelander does look the biz when its all cleaned up ,   I would like to get some side bumper bars or running boards for it and a new stereo fitted along with some new mats and seat covers.it is a pity it is not more economical on fuel and a pity i wont get that much for it if i sell it .

BUSY DOING NOTHING

Was up early it is grey and raining it is Saturday and it is boring i want to do stuff but don't know where or what to do we are skint so cant spend money eating out or shopping just a boring rainy day inside , it is cold too and more then likely tomorrow is going to be just the same.

It would be a ideal day to go to the pictures than to go for a buffet Chinese meal and maybe a pint after.

Made eggy bread for breakfast have not had it for ages would have been nicer with some well done bacon on top , found a cafetiere i did not know i had and a bag of ground coffee i have  been using it the last couple of days instead of instant need a better make of one keep getting a mouthful of grounds in my mouth like a burst tea bag mainly because the filter part is not a perfect fit .

This could be one of our very few weekends we have left at this address we could be moving out within weeks.

Need to buy some plastic  storage boxes to store all the tech gear , electronic gear in to keep them dry just  in case we have to leave them in storage when we move house , need to get some more  blue Ikea carry bags also ideal for storing  and moving stuff in.

Done nothing great today watched Jason Statham in  "Parker" and the film "The Expatriate".

Somethings we will need to buy are ,
Air Fryer
Microwave Oven
Vacuum Cleaner
Frying Pan
Wok
Knives in Block
Electric Tin Opener
Electric Carving Knife
Hand Blender
Settee
Lamps.

I SEE DEAD PEOPLE

Had a lasagne for tea when I got home from work tonight it was home made and it was with hand cut chips .
Helen and i Went to bed at half past eleven we nodded off woke up at one , for sexy time then ee got up for a tea and coffee and I had the rest of the lasagne because i was Hank Marvin should have stayed in bed the calories used in sexy time where soon replaced.

The other day my job took me to the mortuary we might have to assist in pulling bodies out of the fridges if the family request a viewing of there dearly departed there is two rows of fridges each fridge contains four bodies there are a maximum of 48 bodies stored there is a extra large fridge for obese patients. The right hand fridges are the worse they are road traffic accidents people hit by trains ,open them and the smell will be in your nostrils for hours, the babies are in Moses baskets the fetoses are in a fridge similar to one you have at home they are in pull out trays like you keep your salad in not nice we all agreed we won't do babies or infants ,they are taken out of the fridges and in to the chapel then replaced once the viewing is finished.

MOVING ON

Well the surveyor called round this morning on behalf of the buyers mortgage company to see if the house was valued correctly hopefully the feed back we got from him was that our property is worth what we are asking for it .

We are now virtually guaranteed to sell our  home and house we have 101 things to sort out , first of all storage for our items we want to keep for our next place we are using the storage company big yellow box £11.99 per week for first two months sorted.

Direct debits i have to cancel for water and insurance  , pets to be sorted out ,our cat Harvey might be staying with the house and my daughter might be able to look after dog until we can have her with us.

Helen's two sons are moving out at the end of this month her  youngest son going back to his fathers house sorry Liam , and her oldest son as got a flat that he is paying for but not moved in to when the youngest son moves out we will give him a wrought iron double bed and mattress and bedding and pillows.

And  if he still needs odds and sods i am sure Helen will help him out and buy him a second hand cooker fridge washing machine and dryer , which is more than anyone has ever done for me at the end of the day he is twenty five and should be in full time employment and be totally independent but he is not , he better learn some new skills fast.

Once we have the house with just the  two of us we need to start de-cluttering and packing things that we can do with out like our ornaments , books and  pottery also stuff like that clothes and bedding and  nik naks leaving the essentials until last, i have already thrown a load of unused clothes in the clothing bank for the air ambulance

Once we have a completion date , then  i need to look at  hiring a van to move our belongings in to storage , then we have to decide where we are going to reside until we get a rented place to live in .
i need to sort out a new set of wheels  if i lease a car or if i buy one there is still a lot to sort out i need to change my driving license but if i don't have a new address and where do i say i am living .

WHY BOTHER

We have been told by one of Helen friends that someone she works for as a house for rent in Holmfirth , what it is like and  how many bedrooms or rooms or does it even have a garden we don't know and most of all  what we really need to know is what the rent each month .
obviously these are all questions that we need answers to , hopefully  she is going to find out for us and let us know ,  more than likely it will be Monday next week when we hear if it is still vacant and maybe available to us.to go and view
And  if they cant wait a few weeks until we sell our house  , and of course it is suited to our needs and budget and we like property.
Then  we will offer to pay six months rent up front or a year's rent up front  , which is the maximum time that you are allowed to rent property for , even more so if they will let us have our dog Pip with us.

Everything seems to be falling in place at the right time for us it is fitting together like a jigsaw puzzle and so far it is all looking good we have completed all the border we are now  just filling in the middle bit hopefully we wont be left with a piece missing .

Went to another garage today looking at Nissan Juke's the extra money you pay for is for leather interiors , sat nav ,more speakers stop start button gizmo and gadgets , the basic model is sufficient for my needs paying extra for luxuries i don't need is a no no  , we need to conserve money it would be an extra £50 a month thats  £1800 over three years that's a lot of food or even fuel to get me to work and back , selling the house was never about getting a new car ,  i could with my money form the house sale get the top of the range Nissan Juke Nismo  for £20k , but why bother when its about a life style change not the car i drive.

Went to Ikea Helen bought me a can of pear cider by Ekologisk Kolsyrad its 4.5% proof  and was £1.00 a can serve ice cold it is not half bad , goes well with the meatballs .

TEST DRIVE

Went to a Nissan garage mainly to sit in a Nissan Juke ended up taking it for a test drive it was black and had a full sports pack on red and black alloys and spoilers and body kit i think in total it had £1000 pounds spent on it , i was sat a bit lower than in the Free lander but the inside was far more luxurious and all light up it was a key less ignition and had all the radio stereo controls on the steering wheel , it drove very smooth and was a lot more quieter than my car , and both  the clutch and accelerator where a lot  keener and more sensitive , but at least i did not stall it , it is a lot better car than i thought it would be and is a car that i would love to own .

The model i drove was a model or two up from the basic one it also had sat nav and dynamic control system which you can set the driving speed and torque to sport mode or eco mode also it has a built in trip computer and Google maps ,  plus it had  leather seats , steering wheel and gear stick but it was a extra £3000 pounds if i put £8000 pounds down it will cost me £150 a month for three years , plus insurance and road tax and servicing , if i want the same model on lease from my work it is £295 a month all in , if i choose the basic model to buy it would be £12999 to lease it £226 , i think it makes sense to lease it rather than buy it and it makes sense to go for a cheap model rather than a dearer one end of the day it will still be a fine car.

After we went to the fish shop the other side of Leeds my car seemed less refined we both got a fish in a bread cake with scraps and a carton of curry sauce , after Helen lighted  a cig up , guess smoking and eating curry and greasy foods in the new car would have to stop specially if it was on lease , if my car was more economical i would spend some money on extras and servicing and keep it it  as should be good for another 70,000 miles at least.

SOMETHING BETTER CHANGE

Dropped the paperwork of at the solicitors the surveyor from the mortgage company is coming out Wednesday morning to look over the house if things go ok we are looking at four to six weeks to complete .

Storage with the big yellow box company is £11.99 a week for the first eight weeks for a fifty square foot container or room .

Once the house is sold i am canceling  the building and contents insurance which is nearly forty pounds a month the council tax payments which are £118 a month ,water rates which are £43 a month , broadband and phone which is fifty pounds a month , life insurance only ten pounds a month , because i am joining the works pension scheme with life insurance paid out on my death of three times my salary if i die in service.
like most people i am working to pay bills and not to survive i live to work not work to live better not dwell on it new beginnings like i said to Helen if we are going to life the same sort of live style we might as well stay were we are.

So Travel Lodge here we come another thing we wont need is a tv license well while we stay in a hotel usually get free parking and free wi-fi connection too , as the Stranglers say "SOMETHING BETTER CHANGE "

four days off bet they go really fast , breakfast or subway in the morning guess it depends on the time we get up.

It is half one in the morning just been out to the local all night garage to get Helen cigs , our internet provider as cut our broadband connection for none payment so i am tethering using my Apple i-phone as a hot spot only do this if you have all you can eat data on your tariff.

TIME OFF

We got a load of papers from our solicitors  to say what we are leaving with the house what's included etc  , our details proof of who we are  we have to sign them and send them back asp , we might only have eight weeks tops to sort everything out .

I have been looking at second had free landers on ebay and the milage on them have anything between 120,000 to 168000 miles on the clock and are going for quite high price mine as only  84,000 miles on the clock i reckon i should get a half decent price and i reckon that i should put a reserve on of  at least £1000 and see what happens.

work today then i have four days off annual leave  , we are going to see a psychic in York Tuesday , we have seen her before in Richmond last year she was good  , we are also going to look at Nissan dealership and see how the Juke feels then i have to decide if i am going to lease one  on through work or not , hopefully we will also go over to Holmfirth and do some more exploring in outer regions , hoping that  the weather is blue skies and it is  warm and hot because as i write this it raining that started late afternoon it way after midnight.

DECISIONS

Our hairdresser friend Louise as just bought a Range Rover sport they are  £58,000 new hers is a year old and is mint condition  it as had its interior restyled by a company called Autograph and it is gorgeous it is automatic and drives like its on rails it is very quite and you feel no bumps, she use to drive a Audi TT Quattro she says she will never go back to a small car again , she likes the room and a high up driving position.

I was thinking of getting a smaller car but after driving my Land Rover Freelander for the last five years i don't think i can , i will have to compromise and get a crossover which is a car bigger than a hatch back but not as big as a four by four , the favorite one to get for me will be the Nissan Juke , i have already  been quoted £226 a month including road tax and insurance on lease through work and  i am seriously thinking about it , what i will get for my car should pay for a few months gas and the basic model i am wanting will do around 55mpg , if i was to buy one i would be looking at £12,000 for a new one or around £8000 for a half decent second hand one .

We are still looking online for housing to rent in Holmfirth if we increase the radius we want to live in  by three miles we get loads more hits on property , so it might be that we don't actually live in Holmfirth its self but still will be living in a little village type setting which is what we want at the end of the day it is about compromise ,decisions ,decisions.

ROLLIN ON

We have picked the solicitor that we want to sell our house through her fees are  £527 she is  called  Gemma  and drives a Porsche no doubt bet its no more than two or three hours work ,should have done better in school .

We are agreed on living in Holmfirth , Helen still wants to live in Uppermill an annual train ticket is £2575 which is way too expensive and takes a hour on the train , Holmfirth is 20 miles away and takes 40 mins to drive ,Uppermill might be more practical if i can get a job there or i am retired and work is not a issue , there is less houses to rent there because it is a lot smaller then Holmfirth which is small enough., from Holmfirth the Moors are a five minute drive and  Uppermill is a mere  18 Miles away.

Reservoirs are every where and scenery for miles and miles , there is a helicopter that will  fly you over the length of the moors , and   when we finally  move we are going to take a flight mainly because i have never been on a helicopter before and another reason i will have a half  decent camera to take some quality photos.

We might also consider getting mountain bikes and use them early morning or late evening when there is less traffic on the roads we will just have to make sure we don't go down any hills that we cant get back up there are plenty of hills , we might eventually get fitter than what we are now who knows if we do enough walking it will help .

COUNTING SUNDAYS

cleaned out the garage my car wont go in so its been a dumping ground for unwanted items , plus spiders both dead and alive and numerous  webs ,which don't bother me , but freaks Helen's son out , he as a phobia over spiders and their webs .

Helen cooked a full  breakfast whilst i did the de cluttering of the garage i loaded the car up and went to the local waste tip , took two trips i swept the garage out got ride of a couple of old bikes sun loungers wood and old planters chairs and a bathroom vanity unit we had given ages ago when we moved in.

I need to get loads of old newspapers and cardboard boxes ready for our packing we are leaving .
2 leather sofa a three and a two seater , two Mexican pine wardrobes ,washing machine and dryer Range master cooker fridge freezer chest freezer chest of drawers mirror wardrobe and other bits and pieces we don't need or want or that we will replace along the way.

We need a new microwave and air fryer and a new frying pan and wok , i want another moderately priced  i-pod speaker dock and of course a new laptop and camera i still want a Pentax Q and a Sony Vaio Laptop .
Helen had two readings tonight and has had a few bookings this week i went up in to the bedroom with my Google and watched the first three episodes of  the t.v series Hannibal which was extremely good .

For our Sunday dinner we had gammon and turkey with mashed pots and Yorkshire puds followed by Cherry pie and ice cream and cherry ice cold pepsi ,I have a bottle of pear cider Kopparberg in the freezer i will take it out and place it in the fridge after a couple of hours . We might only have another half dozen weekends left in our house we are counting down the weekends.

Working tomorrow it's bank holiday which means i get to go in the car and it is double time for the whole of my shift .
Looking at Paul Browne a artist and his art work he is a local artist who does abstract paintings of Saddleworth and Manchester his work is very reasonable priced for an original art work , like all art work you either love it or loath it have a look  http://www.paulbrowneart.co.uk/

NEARLY GONE

We have decided that we would like to live in Holmfirth its roughly 20 miles from where we are living now and it's a lot  nearer to Saddleworth Moors  and the village of Uppermill and it means we will be living  in the country there is reservoirs near buy and also getting to work more viable at 800 miles a month  travel instead of 1450 miles which will cost around £72 a month in petrol that's if i buy or lease a Toyota Aygo small city car which does a lot more than my Freelander , i am compromising i don't want to drive a shitty little car but its got to be practical and my car wouldn't be
The cost of the lease around £180 a month all in including servicing and insurance , the cost of renting a house £450 a month .

The couple who is buying our house called round again today with their baby Frasier he is only 8 weeks old and as already had had to under go open heart surgery , hopefully they will all enjoy their new home .

Not living in a city anymore , not hearing police sirens and ambulance lights flashing blue the sound of drunks coming home late at night and uncontrollable dogs barking instead it will be the sound of sheep bleating pigs grunting and birds signing , instead of high rise tower  blocks it will be mountains and rocks instead of concrete and glass it will be trees and streams not had to figure out why we want out of the city , we have both lived in all our lives .We are steps closer to be gone for good bye bye Bramley and it's  urban squalor  .

BOGGLING NOT BLOGGING

Wednesday
Well twelve noon all the bidders that have been interested in our house have been told to submit the best and final offers and then from there we will pick the one that will buy our home obvious the highest bid is the one we will go with for obvious reasons it's all to do with money and profit and will help immensely with our next property that we will live in  miles away in the country .

We had a final bid that was the full asking price of £144,995 so we have agreed to sell the house we reckon we are looking at between six to eight weeks tops to sell the house .

I am looking at leasing a new car for £188 a month that's including tax and insurance which is costing me £95 a month for the car i have  the car i am looking at does around 65 mpg will be brand new and is a third of the size that i have now its a Toyota Aygo.

I do prefer the Toyota IQ not sure why i guess its all to do with style and design it just appeals to myself more than the Aygo although its smaller it is a dearer car and because the are so tiny they are quite fast specially the 1.2 litre injection

Anyway we have loads of stuff to sort out like where are we going to live being the million dollar question , what car do i get , do we live in a hotel then get somewhere to live how much rent is affordable , how much money will it cost to travel to work and how long what furniture do we keep what laptop do i buy , and loads of other stuff , it's mind boggling.

Bought Ebay - I-pod ear pods i don't think that they are the real deal they was advertised as genuine but i think not.
I-Phone 4s case in brown suede ,well imitation suede the color was really brown though.

MOVING

We have had an offer of £140,000 for our house we have asked them to meet us half way and said we will sell for £142,500 the extra will pay the estate agents and solicitors fees and every penny helps we will agree the sale of the house and all its furniture for that price the only things we will keep is our bed tv , laptops clothes , cooking and eating utensils and ornaments , rocking chair and grandfather's clock.

Got to work and they asked me if I could stay until two in the morning I told them yes if at some stage I could get the bus home to pick my car up so I could do the journey home in it , it was agreed , think I will be doing another two while two shift again tomorrow.

We should know if the house as been sold before the start of the weekend fingers crossed its moving in the right direction.

FINGERS CROSSED

We think we might be getting a offer on our house it seems imminent or maybe just wishful thinking i have always thought we would move in August at the earliest but sooner the better it be nice to spend this summer somewhere totally different. We should hear over the next few hours or days if we are green to go .

If it happens we have a load of stuff to sort out and loads of stuff to either sell or give away or have a car boot sale .

As i was writing this the phone rang it was the estate agents we have had two offers on the property we are selling one is for £130,000 and one for £133,000 we original wanted £150,000 and refused a offer of £141,000 so no way are we accepting a offer below £141,000 the least i am prepared to except is £140,000.

We had another veiwing tonight whilst i was at work , woman and her mother called and they also want our house and they are putting a bid offer  in tomorrow morning they know what we want and they know what we have turned down hopefully we will both get what we want and be happy with the end result .
